@adsaa I agree. Not to mention how in the original P5, you just simply grind to reach the exact fair lvl., loot the palace’s treasure items every in-game day of respawn, stock up on items like Takemi’s meds, get the right personas to counter Okumura’s minions, apply the right party members to gain an open advantage against the minions, then as for the op Big Bang magic, just simply use the right persona for defense, apply magic skill defense for Joker, and then, just guard. If you skip half of these, then you’re playing it wrong.
@@sonicexereaper6814 That is literally how you play any rpg. If games being too complex is hard for you, then go back to playing something that's more your speed, like Nintendo switch.
Wonderful video. Also in the original Okumura didn't talk as much. This was fine. In Royal, not only are his tactics more Annoying, but he talks even more while the timer is going down. I don't normally skip dialogue in games, but this forced me to skip his unique combat lines. The original was just a fun fight against a robot army and then a big robot. Kill the robots. Okumura will eventually run out. It's not that challenging, but it was fun. In Royal, this is *one* of the few things the definitive edition made worse. it's just not as fun because yOu nEeD tO kiLL aLL tHe RobOTs aT oNcE oR okuMurA wiLL kEep RevIviNg thEM. Then Okumura raises the defense for one robot, so God forbid you don't have a Persona that uses Rakunda. That's not fun. Thats not even challenging..That's tedious
Something funny on my gameplay of Okumura's palace: I have a Shiki-Ouji with almost all attack elements (except for nuclear), and the attacks are the ones that hits all of the enemies. So basically, I was finishing almost all the fights on the first turn, with Joker downing every enemy, and finishing with all out attacks. I just struggled against Okumura because my Sp just got lowered when I was reaching on the big robot.
I played both Vanilla and Royal and honestly I never had a single problem with the entire palace. I played Vanilla in normal and Royal in merciless and I didn't use DLC in any of them.

DYNE!!
XD
Yeah and let’s not give the player the option to get baton pass on the character until the next arc
@@Jessica_Schweser and put the new confidant in an area that was explicitly stated was off-limits without giving any hints
@@bvdf84 I mean, didn't the map show her?
@@Jessica_Schweser it did but I still couldn't find her in the school as I still thought the roof was closed
I never found the boss hard, its the dumb portal mazes
*cough* BY THE MYRIAD TRUTHS ALL WILL BE REVEALED.
Buff and debuffs go brrrrrr
Vanilla P5 doesn't have Izanagi no Okami so gotta rely on Messiah instead.
In Royal for this fight I had to crank the difficulty up for the extra damage during this fight just to beat it. So many items... So much pain...
Okay, but the palace theme for okumura's palace is REALLY catchy, 9.5/10
"I'm resistant to everything so keep pushing until you get through us punching bags"
Today's the day this blows up
Cognitive Haru buffing one enemy unit so it can retreat later and spawn more enemies will never not be annoying
I love that they intended to fix it in royal but actually made it worse
Welp time to play in crushing difficulty
I think the problem is that Merciless is easier than Hard. Or even Normal…

That is literally how you play any rpg. If games being too complex is hard for you, then go back to playing something that's more your speed, like Nintendo switch.
@@sonicexereaper6814 i just roled up with ryuji, yusuke and makoto. It wasn't that much of a hassle really
I’d replace Nintendo Switch with Xbox cause the Switch has a plethora of JRPGs that are as complex as this.
Would've made me shit my pants if you added repel Almighty in there I'd have died so hard
The Get Smoked hat made me die laughing 😂
Most accurate description I’ve seen
Everybody gansta until okumura's robots are strong against freeze and all mighty
Except they aren't in Royal and Makoto's trait makes yusuke's freeze even more potent.
I barely know persona 5. I have no idea on what's going on but im liking every second of it
Wonderful video.
And whats even worse is that THIS LEVEL HAS A TIMER
Something funny on my gameplay of Okumura's palace:
I have a Shiki-Ouji with almost all attack elements (except for nuclear), and the attacks are the ones that hits all of the enemies. So basically, I was finishing almost all the fights on the first turn, with Joker downing every enemy, and finishing with all out attacks.
I just struggled against Okumura because my Sp just got lowered when I was reaching on the big robot.
A wise man once said
“By the Myriad Truths!”
This video makes me smile every time I watch it
It's the tenth time I've seen this video in a period of 2 days, I think I'm stuck here.
Its the tenth time Futaba has gotten blacked in a period of 2 days.
The boss fight took me an embarrassingly long amount of time
Not too annoying for me. But royals okumura boss fight is the worst thing ever
I played both Vanilla and Royal and honestly I never had a single problem with the entire palace. I played Vanilla in normal and Royal in merciless and I didn't use DLC in any of them.
Merciless Okumura Palace is easier than normal Okumura.
Say hello to my little friend called "Myriad Truths".
My personal experience: "Damn, what's this skill? Megladion? Seems pretty powerful."
For all of the complaining people have about this Palace it could’ve been worse… the enemy had the dodge passive
Just bring my boy Yusuke with you and it’s all gonna be alright
Where are the funny dancing dudes from?? I love them so much
Pleaseeeeee the experience is still so clear in my mind I had a singular sp recovery accessory and set out to do the whole palace in one go it was hell....
