    Thanks Tess! I’m going to definitely order the Elta & Glynedplus one for my backbar! Thank you so much for making these videos.
    Btw- I checked out Dermaplus’s tools and I see that she wholesales to Esthetician’s. I really like how the “Clear Skin cleansing brush has handles. I currently use the Foreo Luna 2, for my facial treatments but love the idea of using two of the Derma brushes for my treatments.
    I think I love the idea of a deep sonic cleanse. Do you think that would be too much? Lol Thanks so much for all the energy and love you put into your content, Tess! I think your an amazing Esti! And all your content is so appreciated! 😎❤️👌

    Thank you for this! Great info! I am a medical aesthetician and have been dying to try the skin better science compact (it just became available in Canada) but it looks too deep in the compact for my very fair skin so I was so glad to see you review before I bite the bullet and spend $95 CAD! Definitely going to try it after your positive review.

      @@TessZolly it has more coverage than the clear tinted, and is a bit of a thicker consistency. It’s also oil free, physical sunscreen, and water resistant for 40 mins. :) it would be worth trying, it works for most of my clients! I’m just like suuuper pale 😅 haha!

    Have you tried any of the suntegrity sunscreens? I really enjoy them. I love the texture of the Neova sunscreen but it’s drying on my dry/dehydrated skin and the shade is too light. I wish they had more shades available.

    I heard the skin better compact is also amazing because it doesn't contain water so it doesn't harbor bacteria which makes using their sponge safe, is that true? Is it still okay as long as it's with the sponge it came with?

    • @TessZolly
      @TessZolly  3 роки тому +1

      Hi! It’s an amazing product. And this is a good q- I actually talked about this in the video! It’s so tricky. I do know most bacteria thrive in moist environments, but there are some such as Staph that can survive without water. I’m not a scientist so it’s hard to say, but I use a brush whenever possible to be safe :) also, sponges can still harbor dirt, old makeup and dead cells so, I wouldn’t be reapplying that to my face every day! I use a clean tool every time to be cautious!

    • @lf8085
      @lf8085 3 роки тому

    I've been taught in esthetic school to stay away from the "o" ingredients in active ingredients. Why would that be?

      Ive never heard this!

    • @user-lv3pf2wz4d

      in sunscreen? it could be because all "o" ingredients in sunscreens are chemical sunscreens & some are not reef safe. They're also some claims about some of the chemical sunscreen ingredients enter the bloodstream & can cause cancer. I hope this helps. I'm a licensed esthetician as well :)
