Also, there is a Wu-Tang song called "I can't go to sleep" that samples that song and features Issac Hayes. Its a Rza and Ghostface song so its fitting that they opened with it.
I agree. He was the 1st hip hop show I attended. I have always followed everything wutang and early 90s and he didn't disappoint. He did Wu Tang forever songs, odb songs, solo, and ended w a great version of run. I think it was 2011 when More Fish came out
BBNG x Ghost, I start to listen to Wu Tang When BBNG was in their Crib. Now the kids are enhancing my classics, wonderful stuff... ( You can see Ghost is feeling it!)
it's not BBNG and it's not a live set. But you might wanna check out El Michels Affair - Enter the 37th Chamber album from 2009. Has a BBNG type sound to it and they cover a bunch of Wu instrumentals! (glaciers of ice, shimmy ya, bring the ruckas, etc.)
I was surprised initially to see the guitar player w BBNG. Then I was like cool. Then I was like no. Not near the level of musicianship of the main three members. Looked outta place too. Just sayin.
He can play a handful of instrumental electric guitar , acoustic guitar, tenor saxophone ), flute, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, violin just to list a few
This performance is absolutely mind blowing
BBNG should do another album with Ghost
They should cover GZA's 4th Chamber with the heavy distorted guitar.

Also, there is a Wu-Tang song called "I can't go to sleep" that samples that song and features Issac Hayes. Its a Rza and Ghostface song so its fitting that they opened with it.
@@OlDurtyGurty I thought he was going to perform that one

Ok, ok. Amazing set. Seriously.
But not ONE SINGLE track off of Sour Soul? Did I miss something?
I saw them that same week at another SXSW show and was also surprised they didn't play a single song from their collab album that just dropped.
Beautiful. I wish more rappers would do these combos.
Thanks for this, man!

it's not BBNG and it's not a live set.

Just sayin.
+Rob Ramble deffo noticed aswell man, right on
+Rob Ramble I'm pretty sure he's the new band member, Leland Whitty, but he always played Sax when he collaborated with BBNG for the albums.
+Rob Ramble he's the sax player, and the fact he can play guitar like that as well is a madness
yeah he plays sax mainly.
He can play a handful of instrumental electric guitar , acoustic guitar, tenor saxophone ), flute, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, violin just to list a few
