Congratz man! If the whole oil system is drained down will take that long or longer to prime sometimes at least what I have seen. I believe that is why the old timers would pack the oil pump with petroleum jelly to help speed up that up some. ;)

Guess how much i got it for??? Free hauled it off. Want to do a swapp like this was thinking LS but love your unique build. Cant wait to see. It dyno.! Will be contacting u in future. I think the 5cyl "exotic" sound is definitely more suitable to the 944 but I'm interested to know the cost/benefit comparison against an LS swap.. is it less expensive? How does weight distribution differ? How much easier or more difficult is it to cram under the hood? Could you install the 07k from above, or did you have to slip 'er in from below? Did you reuse the transmission from the 944, or did you use a modern transmission? If so, which transmission? Does the shifter line up well? Is it "true" with respect to motion of the throw, or is it cockeyed??

Thanks! These swaps utilize the stock transaxles. Obviously a 951/968 gearbox is better for a turbo build. An 01E or C5 Bette transaxle is possible as well

Yeah, definitely helps but we never had the pump off. Was just unnerving in the moment!
