Her voice just gets better. When she was younger, she tended to sound a little too thin and "fairy princess"-esque imo. But as the years go by, she finds a lot more depth and resonance to her voice, even in the higher pitches. Listen to ghar more pardesiya and bairi piya back to back and you can see.

Just so you Know, this is Shreya evolution in Bollywood. Not her entire evolution. She has sung in many other languages in India.
