For people who say that calisthenics do not build muscles, this is because you do not know the basics of muscle building, which is to make the muscle under resistance of any kind, and this causes rupture of muscle fibers. As for the calisthenics, the forms of resistance and the application of gradual load can be in the following forms: practicing many reps and sets or making movements And very advanced exercises or the use of external weights or the use of the negative equipment method, all of this makes the muscle grow because we apply a gradual increase in the load on the muscle

If there is anywhere you can find a bar or a ledge that you can pull yourself up, that would work best. The idea is to do a vertical pulling motion. Horizontal pulling motions like inverted rows on a table also hit the same muscle, so you can use those if vertical pulling is not a possibility for you
Hello, im slightly overweight and never really trained. Do you think its better to start with this routine or with the gym routine you uploaded earlier ? Thanks for answering
Whichever will be easier for you to stick to. When you're just starting out you don't need a perfect optimal program, you just need to get started with something consistently. I would say this 3-day calisthenics program will be easier to stick to for now.
Are workout A B and C supposed to be done on different days with a day of rest between them ? For example Monday : A, Tuesday : Rest, Wednesday : B, Thursday : Rest, Friday : C ?
one of the people who worked on the anime, made a comment next to toji sketches "pay attention to the detail on tojis back, he has absurd muscles" or smth like that

please, between this and the other video about how to get Toji's physic wich chalistenic workout would you recommend the most? And about days for rest on this workout, how many? Thanks a lot for the content, and for reading and replying as many comments as possible.
If you can train 4 days per week, the other program is better. If use this program, take 48 hours rest between each workout - like Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Hi, I started doing sport 1 week ago. I'm skinny but I have a bit of fat and I'd like to be more muscular and start callisthenics. Are the exercises suggested in this video good for this purpose? Is it better if I go to the gym? I'm French and I don't understand spoken English very well, so that's why I'm asking you this question so that I can be more precise in writing. Thank you for your answer!
Calisthenics is good for building muscle, especially for beginners. You can start gym if you get bored of calisthenics or if your muscle growth slows down.
i am 15 and i started calisthenics 4 week ago soooo can calisthenics alone help me in creating this physique ?? and how much days should i rest coz u mentioned 3 day workout what about the other 4 days ??
Which Toji workout routine would you recommend between your two videos? Thinking of rotating weekly with the calisthenics and the original workout plan from your first video. Lmk!!!
Hello! I am extremely thankful for this but I have some questions: 1. Is this “outdated” in the sense that you no longer think this is useful for attaining Manga Toji’s physique since you uploaded a new one on anime toji? 2. How many steps should I be getting a day for this program and should I do it everyday? 3. Could I add athleticism training in this program? Such as plyometrics and other workouts that give me good athleticism like toji? (Explosiveness, power, and speed)
It's not outdated - the physique you'll develop will probably be similar whether you follow the anime or manga routines. A minimum of 10k steps per day is good. If you want to lose a lot of fat, 12-15k is even better. And you can add athleticism like box jumps etc. I would do a few sets of this at the start of the main workouts before the lifts. This gets your nervous system firing so it's a good warmup as well as improving your explosiveness. You could also include another 1 or 2 workouts dedicated to athleticism throughout the week if you like
Thank you! This was very helpful! I’ve been looking for a calisthenics routine ever since a gym in my area has closed. Your content is very helpful and informative. Some good “How to look like XYZ” characters you could use could be Diego from JoJo’s part 7, and part 6 Dio, but thanks again! This helps so much.
I'm confused with the Workouts? do you do workout A on a day then the next day after rest you do the Workout B? Then C? or do you stick to one workout program?
No that's not how it works unfortunately. Your muscles need time to recover and your body has limited energy + raw material so doing twice the work doesn't equal twice the gains
do you think this can be combined with the tactical barbell base building you made a video about, or is it better to just do one of these training plans?
The main point of base building is to develop a basic level of cardio and muscular endurance, not to build muscle. I would recommend running base building first and then getting into these calisthenics programs.
@@BenWinneyThanks for responding Ben, but I was thinking of working out 4 times a week. Monday Tuesday workouts A and B, then Thursday Friday C and A. Then I'd start monday with B and so on. Would that be okay as well?
On average, how much should each workout take? I'm planning on starting next week, and I'm sorting out how I'll fit it on my schedule, especially with school coming back in 2 weeks.
Brother, I don't have the equipment to do inverted rows ( the furnitures are also weak ). So can you suggest me an exercise that i can do inplace of inverted rows ?
Sure but women generally have a different bone structure to men so the result will look different. And it's harder for women to build muscle because they have less testosterone
I just bought the workout program for the calisthenics part, but it has less exercises than this one. Will it expand to more exercises or is it better if i just stick to this one?
just a reminder: YOU might not get the toji physique even if you worked hard because genetics plays a part on how your body would be shaped. thats why dont think "if i do this workout i'll get toji's physique" NO most likely not and thats ok cuz most of the workouts here are focused on the show off muscles so even if you wont look like toji you can look better and healthier than your past self. Remember dont compare yourself to others, appreciate your own progress
You'll be fine just do the lower end of the rep range and use easy variations. Check out Calisthenics Movement and K Boges which are two of the best calisthenics channels on UA-cam
You'll probably start noticing a difference after a month or so. Bigger changes will happen after a few months to a year. After several years of training, you'll look completely different.
Guys You don't need calisthenics or weightlifting. You just need to WORKOUT. Jesus Calisthenics or Weightlifting or Bodybuilding it's still working out.

i am 15 and i started calisthenics 4 week ago soooo can calisthenics alone help me in creating this physique ?? and how much days should i rest coz u mentioned 3 day workout what about the other 4 days ??
Rest on the other 4 days. Or rest for one day after day 3 then repeat the program
@@BenWinney ohh thank you so much u are my favorite youtuber
Which Toji workout routine would you recommend between your two videos? Thinking of rotating weekly with the calisthenics and the original workout plan from your first video. Lmk!!!
You could try rotating them. I would say it's easier to build muscle faster using the standard gym program
@@BenWinney What does workout a,b and c mean
@@ioanetigishvili8761 you have 3 full body workout that you Do in a week
I started doing this workout a week ago, should I try to mix in some running exercises as well?
Yeah you can run on the days you're not doing calisthenics
Hello! I am extremely thankful for this but I have some questions:
@@BenWinneyHey what should I eat to gain more weight?
I'm confused with the Workouts? do you do workout A on a day then the next day after rest you do the Workout B? Then C? or do you stick to one workout program?
Workout A on Monday, Workout B on Wednesday, Workout C on Friday
Thanks man appreciate the explanation@@BenWinney
Someone explain me how sec a sec b and sec c work?? Like days??
If I do the calistenics version and the weighted version, will I achieve the physique twice as fast?
No that's not how it works unfortunately. Your muscles need time to recover and your body has limited energy + raw material so doing twice the work doesn't equal twice the gains
Do calisthenics + weighted supersets
Leon Edwards 😍
How much to rest between sets?
2-3 minutes should be enough
@@BenWinney aight thanks man!
is there a replacement exercise for the things that need a bar like pull ups or inverted rows?
i recommend use a towel on the pole
I want to have bigger legs what should i add to each workout plan? Thx
If you have no equipment then jump squats, single leg squats, lunges, bulgarian split squats, nordic curls are all very good
Thx bro I'm subbing for sure
I really appreciate your work but what does the letters(A-B-C)mean?
They're just the 3 different workouts. You can do workout A on Monday, B on Wednesday, and C on Friday. Or any other schedule that works for you
@@BenWinney thank you so much it's really good ❤️
just like me frfr
do you think this can be combined with the tactical barbell base building you made a video about, or is it better to just do one of these training plans?
The main point of base building is to develop a basic level of cardio and muscular endurance, not to build muscle. I would recommend running base building first and then getting into these calisthenics programs.
@@BenWinney i see, thank you my friend for the quick reply. Thats what i will do then
what is tactical barbell
Can you make a Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 Remake?
I dont understand the workout A and workout B stuff is it just like work out A is day 1 and workout B is day 2 or??
Yes workout A on Monday, B on Wednesday, and C on Friday for example. The days don't really matter, just leave a rest day between workouts
Day 1
DAY 2 (REST)
DAY 3
@@abm-1suarezjamesandrewa.392 hows it going
Which days should i do these workouts?
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday if that fits your schedule
@@BenWinneyThanks for responding Ben, but I was thinking of working out 4 times a week. Monday Tuesday workouts A and B, then Thursday Friday C and A. Then I'd start monday with B and so on.
Would that be okay as well?
What are the machines/tools I should get for this workout? As well should I just do the same workout everyday
based pfp jobro
A pull up bar and some dumbbells is all you really need. And check the program for which workouts to do
Instead of using plates for Push ups and planks, could I just use a weighted vest instead for bigger gains?
Yes definitely
@@BenWinney Perfect!
How long should I rest between each workout?
48 hours so you could workout on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
@@BenWinney thanks m8
Should i do one plane or all the three ?
could you do a video about Zoros Physique in Wano Kuni
I'm planning to do a Zoro video soon
@@BenWinney thx
How much body fat you need for it?
10-14% I would say
On average, how much should each workout take? I'm planning on starting next week, and I'm sorting out how I'll fit it on my schedule, especially with school coming back in 2 weeks.
No more than 1.5 hours. Keep rest times to around 3 minutes for the big compounds and 1-2 minutes for everything else
Can wide pull ups replace normal pull ups?
Yea just make sure your form is clean

Brother, I don't have the equipment to do inverted rows ( the furnitures are also weak ). So can you suggest me an exercise that i can do inplace of inverted rows ?
Idk i have dumbells and im doing rowing you can take a bag and do the same but idk
is weighted calisthenics better than weights??
It's at least as good. Weighted pull-up is possibly the best back exercise. Weighted dip is possibly the best chest exercise.
this can work for females???
Sure but women generally have a different bone structure to men so the result will look different. And it's harder for women to build muscle because they have less testosterone
@@BenWinney then what about maki zenin's physique
any gym routine or calisthenics for maki zenin would help a lot!!
also tysm for replying!! :D
I just bought the workout program for the calisthenics part, but it has less exercises than this one. Will it expand to more exercises or is it better if i just stick to this one?
I'll update the calisthenics section of the program to make it better 👍 for now you can stick to this one if you prefer it
@@BenWinney when will it be updated? and will it be sent to my email as a notification?
@@timed666 I'll update it this week and yes you'll get the updated version via email
just a reminder: YOU might not get the toji physique even if you worked hard because genetics plays a part on how your body would be shaped. thats why dont think "if i do this workout i'll get toji's physique" NO most likely not and thats ok cuz most of the workouts here are focused on the show off muscles so even if you wont look like toji you can look better and healthier than your past self. Remember dont compare yourself to others, appreciate your own progress
no
Instead of working out 3 times a week with this program can I workout 6 times a week with this?

Is it possible to make a PPL spilt for a Toji physique?
Sure but it would need to be 6 days a week because you want to train every muscle group twice. So P-P-L-P-P-L-rest.
Is it doable for someone who just starting gym? I'm not fat but not fit at the same time lol
You'll be fine just do the lower end of the rep range and use easy variations. Check out Calisthenics Movement and K Boges which are two of the best calisthenics channels on UA-cam
How long do I have to do this for?
A few years at least
Can you make a itoshi rin program
The only equipment I have is a bench press
Is this routine ok for beginners?
Yes
How long will it take to see results?
You'll probably start noticing a difference after a month or so. Bigger changes will happen after a few months to a year. After several years of training, you'll look completely different.
