To that Abraham Lincoln discussion. It reminds me of the passage in Joshua where he asks this angel, “ are you for us or for our adversaries?” And he says “neither” he is the commander of the LORDs army. The church is full of Christian’s who want to be the main character, but God is the main character.
If you don't know what the watchers are, then you should definitely read Dr. Michael Heiser's (former Logos theologian, recently deceased) book the Unseen Realm. The watchers are referenced in Daniel 4 (see v 13, 17, and 23, the KJV wording is clearest).
Jesus guide me. I’m overwhelmed as a single mom both of my sons are special needs and require so much from me. Jesus I need your help providing for my children so that they may have all they need. Lord I’m constantly struggling each month to pay rent and I struggle to buy groceries, for my sons I’m ashamed. Hear my prayers help me overcome these obstacles. you are my strength.
I think it’s important to note that lamenting (quite literally complaining, groaning, being impatient etc) is a Biblical practice. We have to be able to bring the ugliest darkest stuff to the Lord knowing He’s big enough to hold it and listen to us and help guide us through it into praise and trust and deeper faith. Lamenting takes faith!
I'd say I think lamenting is very different than complaining. Again, that Numbers 14 passage is a great place to look and see the difference of heart. Lamenting is running to Jesus and taking your worries there, complaining is the opposite!
Agreed that lamenting is ALWAYS a focused discourse with God and not other humans. But I do think it’s in the very “formula” of a lament to cry out a complaint. David wasn’t just worrying he was bitter and enraged and impatient
I was convicted this time around after the election results that my attitude and arrogance were in full throttle when I join the band wagon of “the winners” and make jokes and roll my eyes and act like a bad winner. I needed to be reprimanded that we are all loved by God and are ALL God’s children. The only side that is always winning is God’s side. To remember that the people who are genuine in their fears because they are deceived and that I need to pray in a whole different way and become more Christ like in my actions. Totally got humbled.
So many people look to science to explain the world, I think it is important when science supports the Word. This will often point people back to Christ and the Word, when just talking to them about Christ won't. It is amazing to me how God uses everything in the world to point to Him, if people will just look honestly.
Loved this! I really enjoyed all of the biblical points you made to support and/or sort through these videos, and I completely agree with you on all of this.
Hi Faith, as a fellow viewer of yours and Ninjas Are Butterflies, I’d like to provide some context: If you watch any of their episodes, they are Christians, they are fellow believers and talk about the Bible and God often. Most of their episodes are based on conspiracy theories and world news and things tie in, but they’re really big on spreading love and laughter.
I also watch Cliffe and his channel. I normally don’t comment, but I hope, and will add this to my prayers, that we do not judge or criticize others without doing justice in understanding each other. We need to stay united, continue having conversations, and spreading His love.
This! I love their show and I watch them a lot as well and to piggy back off your comment they’ll tell people not to take everything they say as truth. Just people they’re telling these stories don’t mean it’s real.
This is a good video. Thanks but standing for truth!! We do need to be aware of false teachers. You're being respective but also helping some who believe any teacher!!
My thoughts on the transfiguration moment is that the idea of all 3 in a major point of their lives to have stood on the same mountain is an interesting idea. But for me, it stops there. You mentioned the word belittle and I agree. I feel like it belittles the others faith. Because if they only proceeded in their walks with God because they “had proof” since they spoke to Jesus takes away from them moving forward in faith.
YES! Also, if we have to explain away Moses or Elijah's presence at the transfiguration by use of a portal, it brings up tons of questions around resurrected bodies and the reliability of scripture.
Ok. Faith, I LOVE your channel. This is the first time I've seen this line of thought regarding the space/time thing on mountain where the transfiguration. Gotta say I am INTRIGUED on the thought. Conversation like that always makes me look at God with more awe... I think saying something about a portal in that place is a bit of a reach but the idea of God showing up outside of space and time in one spot and all of them being there is a FASCINATING thought... And thinking that God can do that...(Because wit Jim ALL things are possible)... And my opinion of that just being super cool makes me rejoice in the complexities of God and who He is and what He can do! I personally wouldn't be thinking thru all that in order to try to explain anything and I wouldn't be using science to have to "explain" scripture.. I can't say if those guys were trying to explain away either,.. but for me personally I dont believe I'm dishonoring God OR minimizing miracles. Because if God was really there the one time and not multiple times I think that adds a complexity and more miracle on the miracles of Him showing up there. And I'm not saying it happened that way.. not adding to OR taking away from His miracles, but marveling at the possibilities and understanding that as complex as we think it could be, He is still bigger and more complicated that anything we can think. He is amazing! I love Him! Some day, no more tears and no more pain, praising forever. ❤

Great video. Is there any chance u could do a video with tips for memorising the bible for those with memory issues caused by health. I so want to memorise more scripture but I’m really struggling to.
Honest question about our words changing things physically…do you think the guy in the video may have been pointing towards encouraging people that they possess a power to actually, like literally, change their physical surroundings? To me it seemed like he was touching on theories rooted in the law of attraction and using our secret abilities to manifest changes to create our own reality. The reason I point this out is because 2 years ago I was deceived into having this type of philosophy and using my “higher self” to basically be my own god. Then I met Jesus and my life was completely transformed. Praise Him for delivering me from that darkness. From the book of James and because he is writing to new Christians who are fighting and gossiping about each other, I’ve come to understand the power of the tongue to mean that the words we use towards others can negatively or positively affect them and that those words can steer the rudder to have an impact on the direction our life takes. Not that our words hold powers to change physical matter around us. Just curious of your thoughts on this 🙂
I’m not Faith, but I had the same thoughts as you. It didn’t sound scientific to me. I am a microbiologist. It sounded more like you describe and I came out of that as well.
I think this is a valid question. I follow Melissa Dougherty and she's been big on creating awareness of New Thought as something different than New Age and I can definitely see that this "scientific discovery" could be used as "proof" for New Thought. I'm interested to know if Faith responds to this point.
@@minimouse8153 exactly. I don't trust Joyce Meyer. She's too much on the prosperity message side of things in the "name it and claim it" group. Not to say our thoughts and mindset and words don't have power but the real power comes from the Holy Spirit,.. from God. Not us.
Another lie I hear a lot from a senior girl who runs a Bible Study and people look up to her: It is not right to go up to people in their homes or while they are shopping to tell them about Jesus because it can make them uncomfortable and turn them away from Jesus instead of the opposite. She decides to "spread the gospel" by living well and just hoping non-Christians notice there is something different about her and ask her about it. I think that that is too passive because souls are at stake, and I know it's not right, but I don't really know what to say to her about it. I also am afraid the younger middle school girls who look up to her will hear her say that and take it as truth, but I don't know how to handle the situation gracefully.
I think it’s good to have both types of people because I did turn to Jesus by seeing how other Christian’s lived not by those who came and directly told me about Jesus. I actually, at that time, was completely turned off by people who tried witnessing and evangelizing to me. That did, for some reason, make me way more resistant. I agree that we do need people straight up, directly speaking about Jesus, but I think both ways of evangelizing are importantly. Maybe you can say something like that? That while some people respond well to subtle ways of spreading Gods word, other people need it said loud and clear.
The whole Apologetics attempts to explain the unexplainable which is in and of itself, ignorant....for the lack of a better (professional) word. Job 11:7-8 (NLT) Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty? Such knowledge is higher than the heavens and who are you? It is deeper than the underworld what do you know? Faith, this was a great topic of discussion because alot of believers may get caught off guard with all this foolishness if they aren't careful.

As far as the election goes, I pray and read the word I can’t let the people around me affect my vote, God has no problem leading me and helping me make decisions yes even in choosing our president, why would that be the one thing we don’t think we need to pray about as important as it is? We forget division, hatred, and arguments does not come from flesh and flesh and blood, it’s the enemy of our soul who seeks to totally divide the church of Jesus Christ, a house divided will not stand . I pray that the Lord will open our eyes and hearts and help us to keep Jesus on the throne and remember that He is Lord.
