    I’m at the beginning stages of selling press ons and honestly, you have been the MOST helpful person I’ve come across. I’m not fond of Gatekeepers because the nail community is sooo broad and we could all literally win. The fact that you are so open and willing to answer our questions and give us detailed videos…you’re a Saint! I’m so impressed by your organization, it’d the OCD in me 😂 thank you for all your content!!

    I just want to say I've been following you on Instagram for awhile, and I am involved with the way you are soft-spoken and so easy to understand, the way you do your press on's, and how you are willing to teach us how you work your business. I've had troubles with my business for a bit, but I am learning more and trying to work on mine better than I did. Thank you so much for your videos, they are very helpful.💕💕

    I was going to ask if you were also a parent? then you would be super woman. Work fulltime, run a press on business, and have children. This why I truly believe as women we are our most creative and resilient in our 30's and 40's . I just turned 59 on Halloween, and when I was in my 20's, 30's and 40's I ran and operated (owned) an HVAC business with my husband, and had 3 sons, and then at night I also had my own chocolate business. I had every mold possible for every holiday and all different colors of chocolate, and I use to love to paint and crate such nice chocolates. I use to display them in several delis. I truly did enjoy that time in my life. You are very talented and I think you are an inspiration to all of us watching you . Young & old like me. Keep up the great work.

    you don’t have to give an exact number, but how much do you recommend investing initially to start the business? what was your process? I want to buy high quality products but I’m afraid to spend too much money and not get any customers. I also have a full time job so I have money to spare I guess I’m just afraid to go all in and see no return 😬😅

    Can you tell me what chrome powder you used on your brown nails? I can't find a powder, that has such a clear chrome finish. The ones I tried usually cover up the colour of the nail and are making the nails look more silver than glassy chrome. Thank you! :D

    Discovered SweetieNailSupply through your videos and it´s the worst and best discovery of my life. I live in Norway, which means I have to pay for the product and shipping + VAT (I think it´s called) when the item arrives here (no customs for nail products apparently). Korean gels are my new obsession (yay and nay) and we have such limited options here when it comes to gels. I discovered today that a Norwegian shop sells Après tips, which I didn´t think I would be able to get here.

    So I found the general premade mm sizes for premade press on based off of a lot of popular press on businesses. And I got the measurements for my nails. The only issue is that the brand says theyre.5 mm too wide.😭 I see that’s the issue for both my Beatles and apres brand. So for everyone that does the preset do you guys file the .5 off and how do you guys know that’s how much you filed!HELP AND ADVISE

    Hii you have totally inspired me to start my own business!! I’ve been doing my own nails for 10+ years and I’ve come to realize I don’t enjoy doing other peoples nails so I never wanted to make a business out of it. Selling press on nails is the perfect in between. I have recently gotten more supplies to start (from your amazon store front ❤) and I’m hoping to start soon! I have a couple questions if you have the time to answer. How did you chose your company name? Where did you begin your price point? (i’m scared to go too high and get no sales) Did you ever start on something like etsy at first or just make the jump to shopify right away? I’m terrified of wasting too much money as I am a full time student, although I watched on of your videos talking about the pros and cons and etsy seems hard with all of the competition but lower risk essentially. Id love to hear your thoughts if you have the time!! Thank you for everything I know everyone watching your videos is so thankful 💓

    Hi! can I ask, when a customer measures their nails, how you determine the mm to Apres size? ex. the customers thumb is 14 mm but do you use Apres inner curvature measurement or width measurement for that? I initally assumed IC measurement but I am overthinking there variance in each individuals curve of their nail and how that effects the measurement.

    Wow what a lovely, well thought out video💖. With the apres tips do you notice them shrink in size after curing all of the layers of gel on them. Or do they stay true to size after completing a design?The current tips im using shrink so much and its driving me crazy.

    • @miniamipress
      @miniamipress  Рік тому +4

      They sooometimes shrink, but maybe by 1mm…I only notice when doing 3d designs that restrict the bending of the nail. So it might be the kind of tip you are using 😖

    I find your videos and work fascinating! To the point that I really want to make a set for myself and for a few of my friends. I have a question tho, regarding the sizing. The with and length of the tips is one thing but what about the sizing around the cuticles? I have got some gel extension tips and none of them fit so I had to file them to match the shape. I'm worried that if I make them for my friends they also won't fit hem properly. Would you have any advice how to make it work? Or what's your tip?

    • @miniamipress
      @miniamipress  10 місяців тому

      This is unfortunately a draw back of press ons, some people do have flatter cuicle lines so I would recommend making them, and giving your friends a note to say that they can file around the cuticle of the finished press on to better fit their cutitcle line if they need to.

    Hey! Your videos really help out but I’m still really confused with the nail sizes.. I want to set up standard sizes for my small press on nail business but I’ve been getting frustrated at the sizing.. I’ve seen some people have a XS as T:14mm
    P:10mm
    M:11mm
    R:10mm
    P:8mm
    And have like the nails set up going down from either 14mm to either 8mm-7mm but I’m ruining to an issue of the measurements for some of the nails 0-11 being the same sizes but completely different sizes on the nail.. for example my 0 nail will show as 14mm and my 1 nail will show up as 14.1mm which really makes no sense.. how did you measure your nails to start setting up standard sizings? Did you run into the same problem? Sorry if my explanation made no sense .. I’ll try to rephrase it if you see this

      try to evaluate which posts do better than others and replicate that. The more you can be objective about your own content (would you click on it if it was someone else’s post?) the better youll be able to identify areas for improvement. Also know that it does take a long time to build so keep posting and engage! you got this!
