I feel you. I’ve been trying to launch my business for months. I have money invested in supplies and almost everything ready. Except me. My depression is standing in the way. Thanks for the video.
Ugh I am sorry to hear that. I hope you are getting the help you need. If you can, maybe this week, or this month, make one thing, just for you. Sending love - it's really hard.
We're in the same boat. I launched a few months ago, just bought my LLC in January of '23 and depression is not fun. It definitely can slow down the creativity and motivation game. I'm thankful to be where I am at but personally I know I can do better. Are you seeing a therapist? hi i love your channel! i was wondering if you could make a video (or respond to this comment, if you prefer) specifically on how you grew your clientele - how long did it take to get customers? what was your method of doing so? how long did it take to grow your social media following/have posts go viral, and what effort did you put into social media? i’m trying to start my business but i feel like it’s going to be so hard to grow any substantial following/customer base :(
my advice is, post everywhere every day!!!! post every SINGLE day!! if you are consistent, people will love watching your videos and constantly go back every day to see what you’ve done!! post on insta, youtube, tiktok, EVERYWHERE!! (well, just don’t post so much you’re lost, just post on where you know you’ve posted if you know what im talking about lol)
Hi! 😁 I recently discovered your channel and I'm obsessed. I've watched every video and could watch 100 more. Love what you are doing here. So interesting! Much love ❤️❤️
Thank you for your videos! They are truly inspirational. I’d love to hear more about how your first 3 months of business were? How many sales you had and how you felt? Perhaps discuss how much you invested to begin with? Thank you 🫶
Glad you mentioned the specific questions! Love your Chanel! It’s inspired me to start my own press on nail business. My question is how did you decide what size nail are in your standard sizes?
I looked at what other people were using on Etsy and instagram and followed that lead! I have since adjusted my standard sizes to account for/ include the new apres half sizes. I’ll talk more about this in a video soon! 💕💕💕
You can put a little alcohol on the chrome powders and mix them, you should leave it like that until they dry and they will turn into compact chrome powders
I love your channel! I start following u on tiktok and when u said u made a youtube i immediately followed. Was starting your press-on nail business expensive? I do my own nails for fun. So I have random supplies, but now I wanted to do it as a side hustle, but I feel nervous about people not liking my nail.
it’s definitely expensive, gotta be really strategic about where you spend your money in the beginning. There will always be people who don’t like your (or my) nails but that’s OK because there will always be someone who does! 🫶
the chimmy nails are so cute TT for the overflow box, maybe one of those small spoons? i have seen people use spoon for beads, when they have them in "big" boxes like that that.

Hi! I love your videos and I certainly try not to miss any of them. I wanted to ask you a question, where do you buy your Korean brand nail polishes? I've been wanting to buy those products for a while now but I don't know where to buy them. I love your channel!
Hi I’m starting a press on nail business and I’m just having trouble promoting myself. I have friends who support me but they don’t want to buy my press on nails because they want to spend money on manicures instead of press ons. The people I promote myself to just doesn’t seem to want to buy my nails because they think it’s expensive even though I think my prices are decent, around $35-$50 cad. I just am conflicted and questioning my own worth and the quality of my work about this 😢 I wouldn’t say my work is beginner that’s why I priced them at that but not getting the targeted audience I want is discouraging and frustrating 😭
My question would be how did you get better at painting nails, having steady linework, doing artwork on them etc … last week I did. my own nails for the first time, and I was so frustrated that my French wasn’t good or looked uneven and my lines were not always applied with the same pressure. Would love to hear you talk about it 🫶
Practice, practice, practice! A couple things that might help you improve are the tools you use, a good liner brush will help with those clean, crisp lines. Also, if you're a coffee drinker, try to avoid drinking too much or the jitters will definitely affect that linework. You could also try the "V" method of doing a french until you're confident in your work :).
Hi, I have a question for you. How do you use them ? Like do we need to buy those adhesives and nail glue or ? Also is it one time use only or can I re-use the tips many times? Thanks. 😊
I have a suggestion for knowing which order is which! Why not paint a colored dot on the nail stand for each. A example being. A blue dot on 2 stands means it’s for the first customer on the list, then a red dot on the next 2 stands for the second person. Or just paint on a number 1 or 2 on the stands to signify that way. Idk just something I thought while you where talking about the inconvenience you were having

your channel has helped me so much as someone who’s only starting a press on business too! i’ve tested out a lot of nail tips and have noticed that some create a gap between the real nail and the tip when cured/glued. if it’s on my own nail i’d just file it off, but how about for my clients? i know it depends on the person’s nail beds, but is there anything else i can do/avoid as the seller?

Hey i am new here just found your video and wanted to know how do you get the main nail brands to start sending products for you to test out ..do you have to have a certain amount of subs ?
Just an honest opinion from u, do you think people buy your nails just because your nail products used are expensive ( Korean products ) or because your nails are really great designs ? I just learn that the expensive products are same at the amazon products the cheap one and some of them have same production but just sold or marketed differently …
its a lot more complicated than that - you have to read a product's SDS sheets to understand what's actually inside and the chemical structures. The way companies make cheaper gels is often by increasing the amount of monomer so they are not the same and that will be reflected in the SDS sheet. As for why my clients purchase from me, I would assume it has more to do with my designs.
hihi!! does anyone know when she was making the details on the nails what she was using? Not sure if it is paint or gel polish, so just asking!! I love the vid btw def was a great watch to see how you run things in your daily buisness!!
Also you mentioned you only do this on the side because you have a job right? Do you just limit how many hours you put into this or do you limit the amount of orders on your website?
The nail tips are made of gel and once it is painted on and cured it sometimes shrinks in size. This may be the reason why your nail tips may fit when they're not painted vs if they were painted. Hopefully this answers your question!
I really love your channel, but it's hard to hear you when you speak with that raspy voice, it makes it very annoying and as a non native English speaker sometimes it's really difficult to understand what you're saying. Not shaming at all!! I think it's very common in US to adopt this voice sound, that's why I'm pointing it out, cause it's something that has nothing to do with the person itself and it can be easily change. Really love your channel and you're such a professional, it still surprise me that you also have a full time job! Thanks for your videos ❤
also something about the sound: i’m not sure if it’s possible to fix it, but there are some moments in the video when the sound of touching/putting/throwing the things is so loud that you can’t even hear the voice. and to make the volume louder is not an option because then the sound is even more loud
Clicking the "CC" button on the video for captions is always what I do! Even if I can hear the person perfectly, it helps my comprehension if I can read what they're saying, too. Would definitely recommend!
I feel you. I’ve been trying to launch my business for months. I have money invested in supplies and almost everything ready. Except me. My depression is standing in the way. Thanks for the video.

hihi!! does anyone know when she was making the details on the nails what she was using? Not sure if it is paint or gel polish, so just asking!! I love the vid btw def was a great watch to see how you run things in your daily buisness!!
diami painting gel!
What is the black took you used to mount the nails to the cards? I need one on my life!
its litterally just a piece of plastic (clay tool) that I put some sticky tack on the end. You can use anything - pencil, pen etc!
Also you mentioned you only do this on the side because you have a job right? Do you just limit how many hours you put into this or do you limit the amount of orders on your website?
I limit the number of orders I can take!
My question is why sometimes the tips don’t fit on nails specially when it has big stones? But it fits when it’s not painted😢
The nail tips are made of gel and once it is painted on and cured it sometimes shrinks in size. This may be the reason why your nail tips may fit when they're not painted vs if they were painted. Hopefully this answers your question!
@@hhph_m makes sense, is there a solution for this? Should i then take a bigger size nail tip?
Size up. It happens due to acrylic or builder gel (or any Clear gel that is not top coat or base coat)
What is your process for taxes and tax write offs?
What size bubble mailer do you use?
I think they are 7x10! (or something v close)
Can you do a filming video pleasasse
I'll work on the sound! (I shoot everything on my iphone - so I will work on getting a microphone)
