Just like you, we can’t get enough of Tottenham! That’s why we’ve decided to supplement our expansive Spurs coverage on football.london with our committed platform catered specifically to Tottenham fans.
#THFC #COYS #SPURS
I would NOT underestimate this kid. He looks like an absolutely brilliant talent, can beat a man, is rapid and cool in front of goal. Totally all in on him.
Why are you talking like that?
@@crispy_T😂😂
What also can't be forgotten is that Odobert played under Kompany, who was and is a very front and attack minded coach. This type of football psyche has already been ingrained in Odobert's match play, and that has to be a plus when it comes to playing Ange-ball
We can't also forget the exciting addition of Luka Vuskovic, who, hopefully, will be at the club this time next year, if not earlier. The future's bright, the future's Lillywhite #COYS
I feel skippy is so much better than fans give him credit for. He's played so well lately and is never mentioned. I think he could do the 6 role better than biss, on one of his many off days.
I think the issue with Skippy as a 6 in Ange Ball is that he doesn’t have the skill to beat a man, which becomes a problem when playing out from the back whilst the fullbacks are inverted so the safe pass out wide isn’t there.
Spurs looked best last season when Bissouma was receiving the ball deep, dribbling out of a press and then getting the ball forward.
Skip deserves to go somewhere he’ll play and be valued in the system
@@FranktheFurtYeah Skippy is kind of an old school 6, Ange requires much more from the position
Skippy is the only ball-winning specialist 6 we have. I hope he is not miss profiled.
Skip has worked so hard to get this far....and he shows such passion and pride playing for THFC.....but I am not convinced he has the particular skill set required for Angeball.....he finds it hard to take a pass under pressure from pressing teams and then distribute the ball creatively or through the lines...he usually seeks the safe option....but I will say he has improved greatly in these areas since working under Ange - he has a lot to offer and perhaps would be a great buy for a newly promoted team...Ipswich should have taken him over Phillips....so excited for this season.....coys
Hello from Australia. So excited for the season to start. Let's go Spurs!
Hello from the Philippines coys
I am from Australia myself
Fun fact : Odeber is faster than Vini Jr.
Unfun fact ,he's faster than me.
@@dannydowdeswell246😂😂
Ale, you forgot the big thing with Solanke now is against the low block, you can bring Richie in and two strikers in the box can head. We did not have that abilitylast year.
I'm really excited about this lad and the Spurs project the more I hear
I would't be at all surprised if Biss is shown the door. Ange won't stand for this type of unprofessional behaviour
Ange will give players a chance. If he was unwilling to do so, Spence would not be in the position he is now.
So the story goes, Spurs made signals that they were willing to entertain offers and got the tumbleweed treatment. I still think he can be one of the best but I am starting to lose patience.
I saw Odebart skinning Spurs last year in a match and was shouting at the screen "kick him" but hey, I really meant a good shove into the crowd🤣 . Really glad and pleased he is now on our team
Ange will weed out all those who don't fit his prototype; Ange builds prototypes that enforce his attacking style.
No matter the name, Ange is ruthless; his way or the highway.
And he builds success and delivers silverware. He’s a truly great manager
Daka, Vardy and Coady are all ruled out of the Leicester team to play Spurs on Monday according to their manager, Steve Cooper
So Winks it is then
You're more than likely right @@WinWingWin
Ange is definitely keeping a close eye on you, AG
Odobert is seen as one of the brightest French talents. He is seen as on par with Desire Doue. Spurs are getting a player before he explodes. It is an outstanding signing and Brennan Johnson needs to be worried. The way he carries the ball, strikes the ball and beats a man is top.
I think it is now basically confirmed that Werner will not be signed on a permanent and Solomon will leave. I think they are holding the No.11 for a certain someone...
Ps. I think Manu Locatelli will be a Spurs player before the window closes....
He has spent most of his time on the opposite wing to Brennan
Agree with almost all points. I can't see Locatelli going cheap. He just did a 35m deal with Juventus for 4 years, so you are talking around 50-55 to close that deal.
@@ianwest7003 Available for around 25-35m. Reports in Italy stay that Juve are willing to let him go due to the arrivals of Luis, Thuram and Koopmeiners.
@chickling7901 If so, it sounds good.
ANOTHER top top signing by Tottenham. We are smashing this transfer window, bring on the new season 😍
Ange seems to building a young team that he can mould to produce the hard pressing, exciting attacking football that he demands.
Nice to see you twice in a week Gold & Guest
Yes fair point. He's seems like a great kid. COYS!!!
I think Tottenham are going about signings in the right way. Young progressive types, who will hopefully grow together.
Definitely came out the blue if Ali hadnt heard anything. Looking at the udogie, van der ven, vicario and Bergvall signings I hope he lives up to their quality and value for money. Roll on Monday COYS
This transfer window is looking as underwhelming as last summer.
The pieces are coming together.
I'm very excited again!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳👏👏👏👏👏
Beaten by the Daily Fail, AG. Not good. Was there a team from Newsquest playing?
The problem for City is that if the charges are proven, then that means there has been a coordinated effort within the club to circumvent the rules over a period of years.
This is far more serious than the recent FFP breaches, so it's hard to see anything less relegation of at least one league.
The other question a guilty verdict might raise is, Are the current owners fit and proper people and should they be allowed to own a club. Is there a chance that they may be forced to sell?
I can see Ange letting Maddison go if he doesn’t improve this year.Or using him as a squad player. And Bissouma has to prove a point now since the nitrous oxide incident.Heard he can be ruthless and that’s the kind of manager we need.COYS.
That's why AP keeps distance from his players. His first managerial position had him sack one of his best mates, which cut him deeply. Since then, players have been kept at arms length, as ruthlessness requires a certain distance.
Uh oh. Ali day-to-day with a groin. Power through it big man!
Hi Ali, What ever you do, do not go to our treatment room for you're bums and bruises... you will be out for months! 🤣🤣
Odobert gave us no end of problems when we played Burnley last season in the cup. I thought he looked decent. He has the stats to back him up.
Ange will bring the best out of him as he does with all his players, Spurs are going to be bums on seats watching how exciting.
Hopefully LeCelso, Reggie and & Solomon will be sold or Loaned. Possibly Davies and Skippy.
Yes, but I think we’ve done well getting deadwood out, long overdue of course
Davies will stay. Ange has him pegged as a coach going forward.
It's almost 4 pm, and there's still no singing, all dancing promo of Odobert's signing on the official THFC social media site. Just a few lines, a still photo of Odobert and the words 'subject to formalities.' Dead weird considering the amount of money that was alledgly spent on the flying winger
@@D-v-8 no way is he going on loan !!
@@D-v-8terrible business? Terrible take.
We also have the young Centre Back Valovitch or something that he looks monster
Vuskovic
Sell Biss.

Having a competitive squad of players is a great headache for Ange to have
On the UEFA rules, if Spurs has to announce a squad of 23 rather than 24, I believe Ange won't be fussed. Spurs won't bring in third-rate players just to fill out the quota. It isn't going to happen
We can't just "bring in players to fill out the quota," we have to register fewer players because we don't have enough club-trained homegrown players (i.e. senior academy graduates). It's the reason why we held on to players like Winks, Tanganga, and Skipp for so long and have had the same couple of academy keepers on the books for like 10 years now.
Totally agree. I'm sure Ange will manage with whatever the squad number will be for the Europa Cup. I will be shocked and surprised if Ange brings in ex-academy trained players just to bolster numbers @DjNaste
How much have Chelsea spent?
I think Ange may start playing some of these young players quite soon, if guys like Bissouma, Madison aren't doing it. Johnson far from got the right wing nailed down.. Son will start playing less games. Plenty of spots up for grabs.. Ange may already think these younger guys might give me more than some of the established lot. Bissouma seems unable to stay focused, very talented and probably best seen as a 2 year signing for a team like Rennes or Leverkusen etc making a charge.
Wilson Serge Eric Odobert?
Couldn't imagine a more Spurs-ready player, with those 3 names....
COYS
😂😂😂
I'd forgotten about Clive Wilson 😆
A how Chelsea gonna sell ten players in two weeks
They'll sell them back to themselves under a different trading name.
Is Dewsbury-Hall the first footballer to be mistaken for a hotel?
If you are watching Ange get in a quality 6 and an experienced winger like eze and I will be happy 😂
Will Donley be on a full season's loan with Leyton Orient, or will the loan be reviewed come January?
League One is a great place to harden up, develop, and learn your footballing trade
Most loans these days have the option to recall, so I'm sure they will re-assess most/all the youngsters in January.
Odobert isn't a bad player he's quite good for his age. I'm unconvinced about Werner, Johnson, and Solomon they don't look good enough. Moore is for the future and we need players like him for the Europa League rules. Son didn't play well last season down the left he could end up back in centre midfield. In fact, that's where I'd play Son, in the centre. The main problem is we need much more top-quality signings, and that's not happened so far! If we are signing youngsters we need to complement them with more top quality experienced players who fit into Ange's system and can take us to other levels.
Son in central midfield? He had good figures last year. We miss his creativity when he plays striker. He wouldn’t have the tackling or passing range for centre midfield. As striker he isn’t good in the air, or with his back to goal. He needs the ball out in front of him. Our midfield is bang ordinary as it is.
@@D-v-8 "30 mil when Burnley paid 10 mil for him." Yeah, that's how that works. You pay an amount and then hopefully sell him on for more.
"The fact they were willing to let him go speaks volumes." Yeah, smaller clubs sell to the bigger ones.
"1 goal and 1 assist in 1 game for Burnley and he's the next KDB but better!!!" What!... No! Spurs have obviously watched him from afar and seen he fits Ange's system and without any fuss gone in for him on the quiet.
@@benwebber8132 Yeah, Son played well in the centre last season a lot of his goals come from that position. Son was lost up front last season. He couldn't hold the ball up or play with his back to goal, he was too inconsistent. On the left Son was easily kept on his left foot and quietened down he struggled to cut inside onto his right foot to affect the game.
@@D-v-8 Where are you getting your stats from? Odobert scored 3 and assisted 3 in the PL last year for Burnley, and got another goal in Carabao Cup. Pretty good for an 18 year old's first season in the PL. Started out as a bench player for Burnley and forced his way into the starting 11. We bought Van de Ven on the back of 1 season of experience in a top flight league, and that worked out ok right? Give the boy a chance before we judge him.
How long is maddison out for?
Ange will not sell Bissouma.
QUESTIONS: Will Donly be eligible to play in Europa League if he comes back to Tottenham in January...
Yes. There is a window to submit a new squad list due to the transfer window. The only thing that would disqualify him would be if he was cup-tied from playing in the competition with another team.
Has v company got anything to with this?
Spurs still need a CB
Isn't this the biggest window in our history?
Oderbert will be a right winger hopefully.
Do you think the Odobert signing is a player that Ange greenlighted, or otherwise?
if ange didnt green light he simply wont play him. silly question really mate
Sacha Tavolieri was the journo.
Just an aside - why does Rob Guest have Ivy League pennants on his wall?
20:43 Hi Ange 👋
Biss has been walking a tight rope for ages. I’d be more than pleased if he was sold and replaced..
Do you think that Spurs would sell Richarlison if the right offer comes in for the player? Personally, i wouldn't be surprised this isn't already happening behind the scenes. Books have to be balanced 😉
Leaving Solanki as only experienced striker at club.Madness if it happens.
not if said contracted player doesnt want to be sold.
Agreed. But then it would depend on who the buying club are and what's on offer. After the Odobert deal, nobody has a clue what's going on behind the scenes at Spurs @ianpereira3119
You do realise he has a contract?
Plus Richie has better per minute stats than Solanke in a lot of areas, so he is a very good player too.
The big thing Solanke allows is for Ange to manage their game time so that we have two fit no. 9 for as much of the season as possible.
Selling Richie just puts you in the same position as last year, where one injury leaves you stretched and remember we have a lot more games to play this year.
Of couse i understand that Richie is under contract, and that he is totally entitled to stay put at the club. I also agree with you when it comes to his like-for-like stats. As always I'm playing the devils advocate, and if thr right offer comes in from the right club, I wouldn't be that surprised if Richie moves on. Yep, a lot of ifs, buts and maybes. I'll end by saying that I hope Richie stays at Spurs and that he has an unbelievable season with us #COYS@@barneyhall2753
Guesty, I've yet to meet an old 17 year old 🤣
"We don't tolerate that kind of behavior at Tottenham, oh hey Rodgrio! Hows it going big fella! Ready to start Monday? Romero! Cuti! Big season ahead keep the eye on the prize"
Gold is delusional. Absolutely no chance we finish 3rd, we'll be lucky to finish 5th again.
Man City points deduction, we are better than villa, Liverpool, Chelsea, man utd in transition
@@anthonyhagen5028 lol, no we're not. Get off the glue.
Woohoo- another average winger with potential for a future that’ll never happen.
I don't think we're going to get the Conte-esque "he's a club signing, mate" from Ange 😊
An exciting surprise!
Lets get rid of Biss, poor attitude from a man who has been terrible since arriving at Spurs.
Bit harsh to say hes been terrible since he came, remember start of last season when we were ripping teams apart with anges system, he was a key player. That shows what he can do. I think he should put his head down and earn trust back.
What a weird transfer... We already have 4 senior wingers, plus M. Moore. Yang is coming in January. How Ange is supposed to find game time for all of them?
There are 4 competitions plus tactical and physical substitutions in each game without dropping our intensity.
They'll get game time
Looks great... but how many left wingers have we got now!?
Enough to seize the means of production to be sure.
Solomon is as good as gone tho, won't make Werner permanent and Son is reaching the age where his game time needs to be carefully managed.
@@paulware2457 And Richarlison... originally (and much better IMO) a left winger at Everton. We've got about 5 or 6 now!
Like you, I think we'll win the EL at San Mamés !!!
COYS
So, if he is such a great prospect, how come V. Kompany didn't immediately sign him for Bayern?
Bayern have like 9 wingers, 5 of them are 20 or under, and they just signed Olise... They don't need another winger.
You're so funny with your predictions :)
United will finish above us in PL and Europe. They got proven experienced players (and still waiting for Ugarte) and we got kids...
The lack of critical thinking from our fans is astounding. We’re signing kids when we are a rich club with on of the highest revenues in the league. We need established first team signings that can take us to the next level. You’ve yet again fallen for Levys cheap propaganda. We’re yet again on the road to nowhere .
Surely a critical thinker would realise that revenue only equals profit when you have zero costs.
