This is exactly why the Premier League looks so silly in this. Their rules have loop holes for days. In American sports everyone knows the rules and there is some wiggle room on the cap depending on the sport. No financial breeches take place no sport franchises at risk. Everyone should know the financial rules and abide by them. The league if they are unable to get a result in the case will look like a big dog with no teeth.
I understand what Simon’s saying tbh. The media has made this case so demanding hence why people want to know what goes on in the hearing. If it wasn’t for pundits & sky sports & especially talksport themselves repeatedly talking on these charges then people wouldn’t want such a demand on wanting to experience the hearing leading towards the verdict.
i think it is good it is not actually open. As long as there is clear reasoning for the outcome and a fair trial then it is better. It turns into a fad if it is televised. If man city are found guilty then they need healed accountable that is not simply financial. But if they are innocent then we need to accept that.
I couldn't careless what happens to Man City. The outcome will be interesting but it's not my club, so I do not need to invest any time following the hearing process. I care about 3 points for my club at the weekend, that's all.
Not sure I want to hear the ins and outs of this. The charges are clear, if found guilty I want to see what the outcome is. If, as I suspect, there will be nothing more than a slap on the wrist, then we can throw away the FFP rules and just let every club do what they bloody well want!
That opening 30 second speech had to be read? He couldn't even talk on the fly. When things aren't written for him he speaks slowly and disjointed. This is the guy who thought he was something special because he annually wore a specific tie on a certain day, his sickening co-presenters would join in and the fans would fall for it. Simon Jordan is talking hard facts here.
As if there isn't too much football content around these days already. Jim wants a live stream from the courtroom. Too much football, dilute the product, quality gets worse. It's been happening slowly for years now. The sweet spot was the mid 90s to late 00s
Typically I agree with Simon on most topics. We dont need the verdict! Man City are guilty and always will be in the eyes of all football fans we will never let them forget.
Any proof or evidence or are you just consumed with envy?
@@robertmclellan3658the people who are prosecuting them have the evidence not your average Joe on UA-cam. You don’t bring people to court without evidence

115 charges haven't come out of thin air, like you sport washed, state funded propaganda juice drinking city nonces like to think.
Ooooooooo😂😂😂😂😂really
I feel your pain Eddie 😅😅 pass the 🧂
This is exactly why the Premier League looks so silly in this.
A modern case can be shown in public ..this is a game of football
Jim doesn't get it. He just reads his bullet points. I don't think he even understands half the things he says
@lenabo9929
Why is less transparency ever a good thing? Are some of us too stupid to follow the case?
3 people are about to become ultrarich in front of our eyes.
I think quite a few people will become very rich on the back of this case.
Do want to listen to all the dribble, just need the outcome when it's done
Would people want there to be transparency if it wasn’t Man City?
Isn’t it according to premier league law that these proceedings are held in secret?
It’s rare Simon talks sence for me yet on this I totally agree with what he’s saying.
Simon is right. As a football fan I'm only interested in the result and how that result was achieved.
Media just want it for clicks
I couldn't careless what happens to Man City. The outcome will be interesting but it's not my club, so I do not need to invest any time following the hearing process. I care about 3 points for my club at the weekend, that's all.
I love hearing simon talk,he is so intelligent 😊
Imagine having to play Scrabble against Simon 🤯
For the first time I'm agree with Simon
Not sure I want to hear the ins and outs of this. The charges are clear, if found guilty I want to see what the outcome is. If, as I suspect, there will be nothing more than a slap on the wrist, then we can throw away the FFP rules and just let every club do what they bloody well want!
You do know this is more than a FFP issue.. It's not City overspending or making a loss. Look it up.
@@declanshanahan3888 I know what the charges are thanks lol
Hasn't Simon ever heard the saying " justice must be seen to be done"
I'm sure he has.
And that would be shown in the verdict, which is what Simon is saying.
That's also an awful & flawed saying. Much better to have a process play out per the rules than to bend them for PR & optics .
@@d.b.cooper1 I completely agree. 'Justice must be done' should be the motto, never mind justice potentially only appearing to be done.
Jim is there to play devils advocate, it's not difficult mate. That's his job, I'm amazed why people don't get this
@@declanshanahan3888It's not the reason of why he's there, it's why it's him. He brings absolutely nothing that a monkey wouldn't bring.
Not entirely sure what Simon is arguing here. How can we trust the verdict or outcome based on what they choose to tell us?
As if there isn't too much football content around these days already. Jim wants a live stream from the courtroom. Too much football, dilute the product, quality gets worse. It's been happening slowly for years now. The sweet spot was the mid 90s to late 00s
Benefit of the haters only , that’s all it’s about
Premier league have a army of lawyers and got all the hacked bullshit 😢
Typically I agree with Simon on most topics. But a court case about football club facing 115 charges needs to be televised so we can all understand exactly what happened and to ensure rich clubs like Man Coty are punished appropriately. As of right now Man City could settle or make a deal with PL to sweep this under the carpet.
More likely the hapless Premier League throws the towel in.
You are pathetic with no life if this worries you. Who cares how much man city spent. Only losers are bothered with this.
Why would they? because apparently and to quote them they have indisputable evidence they are not guilty. Been shy to present this though.
@@declanshanahan3888 That’s totally untrue as proved by the CAS case. And you do understand it’s for the accusers to prove guilt and not for the accused to prove their innocence you do understand that don’t you?
Simon Slams.......FFS Enough already! Never thought I'd say it but I'm starting to prefer Clown-Cundy & Pie-Boss O'Hara! At least they appear enjoy what they do, no matter how nonsensical their topics. 😮
How much of a technicality is it that leicester were cleared because they were no longer members of the league when the accounts were submitted. Thats seems quite a major issue to be just called a “technicality.”
Its not a loophole if u got relegated. U only see it as a loophole because they got promoted straight back. Otherwise no 1 would care
Biggest cover-up and breach of rules in football history
If the Prem loses this legal battle they will never be looked at the same, the court of public opinion will never change on City either way
Very true. The charges are so bad and the evidence the EPL has is so damning. Over a decade of cheating and cooking the books. UEFA found them guilty. They beat that wrap by statute of limitations.
