Excellent discussion, I just had a question I'm not sure was addressed. Which bases or camps was the Indian army trained at? Was all training done in India? Keep up the good work

Each Regiment of the Indian Army has a Regimental Center. This is where basic training is done. For example, the Sikh Regimental Center is in Ramgarh. The Gurkhas have Centers in Subathu, Bombay Sappers’s have their center in Kirkee in Maharashtra. After a recruit joins his unit, he is trained there, then there are schools for NCO training etc
