There's a Nancy Drew game too. It's called Message In A Haunted Mansion. It's an actual point and click adventure game. There are actually a few horror themed visual adventure games on retro handhelds, surprisingly. The Lynx had Dracula: The Undead. On GBC there's a Scooby Doo game that is actually pretty good and an Addams Family game. Plus The Uninvited and arguably Shadowgate for GBC. And in Japan there are some visual novels and a port of Clock Tower. I don't know why there are so many of these. It doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me to develop visual adventure games for handhelds with such modest capabilities but there are a few. There's also Cosmic Spacehead and Phantasy Star Adventure for the Game Gear, Broken Sword on GBA, and The Fish Files for GBC. It's such a weird choice. Then again they put Dragon's Lair on GBC so I guess it was an experimental time Also, I always wished they made a top down handheld version of Luigi's Mansion. I always thought that was a missed opportunity. Fortunately I found out about Monster House and it was pretty much the handheld Luigi's Mansion I wanted. I now have the games on 3DS but regardless, I do like that game and still think it was a missed opportunity. GBA could have had a good spooky LM game, I think
Fully agree with Luigi M being on the GBA. Also I was going to put Nancy Drew in the video but couldn’t think how to flow it in and keep the pacing up. It’s a slow game.
A lot of neat picks here, and am glad Ghost Rider got mentioned! Easily a hidden gem on the GBA! Monster House is one that was recommended for me to try on the GBA, and I can see why. I personally liked the GC version, as it surprised me in being a quality licensed game. Haunted Mansion is one that heavily surprised me visually. Sure the framerate is poor, but I was very impressed that much effort was put into that game to make it a 3D experience on the GBA. Great video man!
I was going to pitch a video to you. Maybe we can do it together. Wii games that are GameCube games. The twist you use a GameCube controller to play them.
I played Dark Arena, and it actually reminds me a lot of the Atari Jaguar port of Doom because neither of them have music playing during gameplay and instead only play music during the intermission screens after you complete a level. Also you missed Extreme Ghostbusters: Code Ecto-1 Edit: and Monster Force
I haven’t trued the ps2 game yet. But if they made it for the Xbox I might have it already. I think I have a complete collection for that system. Sadly I sold my complete GameCube collection 😞
You can called them action adventure games I guess 🤷🏾♀️ that's what the maker of Castlevania S.O.N called it. But no one liked calling it that 😂 I wanted to give you a dislike for not liking the main stream name of those games... I'm a jerk (๑´•.̫ • `๑) But hey, I didn't do it 🤷🏾♀️
Monster House was such a surprise. It was a ton of fun. Ghost Rider huh...
Yes give it a try 😃🙏

5:00 there was a great gremlins game on NES in the 90s. Gremlins 2: The New Batch
It was ok. But I need a great gremlins game.

Pretty sure Dr. Muto is not part of the MDK franchise, but I admit Dr. Muto looks a lot like a caricature drawing of Dr. Hawkins.
Yeah you play as him in mdk2. On the Dreamcast. 😃
@@SecondOpinionGames1 You play as Dr. Hawkins in MDK2 ;)
@@AfroRyan crap I got it very wrong then 😃🙏
@@SecondOpinionGames1Google helps.
No Metroid Fusion? Only GBA game that managed to jumpscare me, and the atmosphere is creepy as can be!
True. That game is a must have that’s well known. I try to find games that people would enjoy if they knew about them 😃
This was definitely rad. More, please
Thanks 🙏. Did you see the exploding cat at the end.

Edit: and Monster Force
Extrem ghosts busters was mist because I thought it only came out for the GBC. It was a really bad game for that platform.
@@SecondOpinionGames1 Code Ecto-1 is actually descent tho 😎
Monster House On GBA Is Really A Hard Game But Good Movie BTW By The Way
Both good 👍
Spooky
👻 BOO
I'm definitely gonna try The Nightmare before Christmas Pumpkin King. I always love Halloween gaming videos 🎃👍
It’s worth it 😃. The Xbox version is good too. But it full of rhythm based boss battles 😃
4:40 wow there’s at least 12 frames total in this game
It does chug a long 😃
That Britney Spears dance game is a huge rom, must have cost a fortune to make the cartridge 😅

I think at a game exchange in Lancaster

Ghost Rider That Game Is Outstanding Dude For PS2 Or Gameboy Advance
I haven’t trued the ps2 game yet. But if they made it for the Xbox I might have it already. I think I have a complete collection for that system. Sadly I sold my complete GameCube collection 😞
Cool to see some games I would've thought were absolute garbage back in the day, be seasonal fun. Thanks🐑
Happy to help 🙏
Spoopy games. 😂
The Haunted Mansion On Gameboy Advance Is Terrible
It is but the sounds a cool.
Britney's Dance Beat Is Not That Spooky
It scares the shit out of me 😳
