This is why I stopped watching this damn show all those years ago. Not at all surprised. Such an sjw supporting the lbgtqia+ community of perverts and body mutilation.
Mariska Hargitay's character as olivia benson has showed us that we should respect others, stand up for what's right and more importantly to be true to ourselves

This child is the sweetest and he’s got the best mom. He knew he could tell Liv because she makes him feel safe and loved. She would never judge him and she’ll always support him
Letting your kid think he can be any sex he wants on a whim because some lefty woke teacher or another equally brain washed kid said he can when its impossible is not teaching your kid right, it's just confusing them-that's NOT good parenting.
He just mentions it so casually, and the fact that he came out to a bully as a way of standing up for him and his friend is just absolutely amazing. And Liv didn't question him or anything. Just accepted her son as he is. Wonderful
@@1talldaddy Oh for goodness sake what is wrong with you lot on here ,, is it woke day for the brainwashed little children courtesy of the deluded woke teachers?
He came out with it casually because he hasn't got the slightest idea what it means , he's just saying what freak lefty teachers are trying to brainwash them with.
He mentions it casually because he has NO idea what it means . His friendship with his best mate has been turned into some sordid little sexuality thing when he knows very little about sex & hasn't even gone through puberty. Where are your brains tyou woke lot .
I love how casual he just came out and even better how casually they talked about it. It’s not a big deal and it shouldn’t be treated as a big thing. I love this!
It's funny to me how people suddenly say that the show has gotten "too political" when it was literally always like this, since the very beginning. The earlier seasons constantly tackled political topics that were relevant at the time such as the beginnings of pro-life vs. pro-choice, female victims rights vs. male victims rights, the pros and cons of the internet, racially motivated crimes, heck there was even an anti-vax episode with Hillary Duff. Elliot and Olivia were constantly at odds with one another because they had different viewpoints, with Elliot being more on the conservative/patriarchal side and Olivia on the liberal/open side. It's what made their dynamic so interesting. Idk why Olivia accepting her son for being himself is suddenly "too political", or even seen as political at all. After all she had always been like this, for over 20 years now.
It's not about being too political, it's about being too politically one-sided. It's blatantly obvious which side of the spectrum the producers support. It's gotten to the point where some of the episodes start feeling like propaganda. Yes, Stabler was always a bit more conservative, but when he left the show that conservative side left as well. Suddenly the show had nothing but politically left leaning characters and several episodes that support left leaning ideologies, but I can't think of one episode that made conservatives look good.. By going more politically one-sided, the producers are essentially ostrisizing half of their fans. The day an episode of L&O SVU made a perp start in racist terms and then blame it on the president, (who was Trump at the time), that's when I knew what direction it was going and I stopped watching. And from what friends have told me, there have been several other episodes that also Trump and his supporters look bad. But nothing that made them look good. I don't care what side of the spectrum you're on, this isn't okay. It sends a bad message to any Trump supporter who enjoyed the show.
I totally agree the show used to be this way but it's got a bit extreme over the years With it not being as balanced in viewpoints and perspectives as it used to be That's why people saying it's becoming too political, too woke is taking form because it's leading more towards the far left instead of having a balanced, Level headed viewpoint of things!💯😁👍
@@JackRabbittm they've always taken inspiration from real world events: famous coach getting exposed for child abuse, IMF director attacking a hotel housekeeper and being chased to the airport so he won't get away... There was a point during Trump's term in which there was a fear that racist people would use Trump as an excuse to act out on their bigotry. He never called out racist groups, even if he's not a racist he will literally take compliments from anyone. Every new technology and real world novelty has made it to the show. Were you expecting Liv to be homophobic? Kids are also big on the pronoun thing, it's huge. Do you expect it not to make it into the show either?
Shows how much you know lol it got very political one sided. Loved the entire series and 3 episodes after Stabler came back it was so woke I almost barfed and turned it off and it only keeps virtue signaling in every way possible
The best thing she did was saying thank you for sharing with me. That way noah would feel he can trust her more. She is his confidant and not always demanding to know his business but touting him enough to give him time and respect his privacy. That way he won't always lie to her and sneak out. Which is not safe for kids.

@@deffaccess571 In my opinion Olivia is a good mom , she is trying her best to be there for Noah all the time. Did you see the episode when social service tried to take Noah ( when he was a baby ) away because of her job & then Olivia won the case( even though she didn’t give her statement as why was her son in the hospital). When Noah got kidnapped by his biological grandmother in Season 19 Olivia & her team went looking for him & brought him home safely & Sheila was arrested
You'd be surprised how many kids know their own truth before the age of 10. There's nothing sexual about it, just who they think they like. As someone who has spent the last 4 years studying child psychology and development, this moment was accurately portrayed for his age, and appropriately discussed with Liv with the type of parenting style she has. Really impressed ❤
@@ddss3042 lol 😂 it’s a show it’s meant too to be dramatic you’re putting to much importance that’s the real issue 👀 I can assure you that my 10 year old pass self understands perfectly some kids are just more mature at a young age and open just because you’re child is not as open with you doesn’t mean others are the same. That does in not take away anything from their childhood( in the right environment). And I’m not trying to criticize you in any way, shape or form in your child raising it’s just not all children are the same some are more emotionally advanced at a very young age.

So you have no opinion about whether or not this happens in real life, spoiler alert it does. The reason why children don't tell their parents, is because they are told while being children that being gay is disgusting and wrong, so they hide it because they think they are doing something wrong. You people are the reason why so many children hide it
I read several comments on social media that Liv's reaction was fake demeanor wise (moving her head back so very slightly and the look on her face) when he told her. I believe she truly accepts Noah for who he is. I also believe that her brief demeanor with the head movement and facial expression was that what he said caught her off-guard in the moment.... but I don't think she really thought anything of it except for being proud of Noah and was glad to know that he felt comfortable enough to tell her. It's evident that Liv LOVES Noah as well as the trust between them and I can't see that changing. Liv doesn't always make the best judgments/decisions as she is human but she sets amazing examples & she's such an inspiration & role model throughout the series and I wish there were more people like her especially in Law Enforcement. Mariska Hargitay is my biggest role model/idol. She makes her character relatable & come to life. I wonder where Mariska ends and Olivia begins and vice versa.
The beautiful thing is that she put the emphasis on how happy she was that Noah felt that he could share things with her and his standing up for himself and others.
I came out to my mother and she said the same & that she loved me no matter what. She even came to my wedding…but I sadly lost her 3 months later. Miss her every day ❤
This is exactly the way every parent or guardian should react to their child coming out. Olivia is such an amazing role model for lots of women out there, she's amazing. Mariska is amazing ❤️

That's how comming out with our parents should be, no drama, no guilt, no insults, no religion stuff, no regection. Just life going ans always, cause we're still the same person
Sex attraction can change, and it's a very difficult topic when it's a kid - heck it can still be a difficult topic when it's an adult. I've had friends that were hetero majority of their life, got tired of it and dated the same sex to try it out and ended up liking it. Was it cause they were always that way, or dating a string of wrong people cause them to make a change - who knows?
I knew I was gay when I was 4 ... I didn't understand it till around 8. Both my parents knew and it didn't matter to them. All of us learn who we are at different ages.
Also, jeez louise! I leave this show for maybe 4 odd years and Noah went from quiet baby bean to near preteen bean! Love that the show has continued showing their mother-son interactions. Looks like I've got *a lot* to catch up on.
I know a lot of people are being hateful and angry about this, but most members of the LGBTQ community know who they think is cute or who they have a crush on or don't fairly young. I work with a lot of members of this community in a middle and high school setting and many end up depressed or suicidal because of the backlash they get at home (in my area the schools aren't the issue; it's parents prefering a dead child to an LGBTQ one) There's a reason the suicide rate is 20% in gay, lesbian and bisexual young people and 40% in the trans community. They need adults to react like this- with complete and utter acceptance. It saves lives.
Yes as a social worker this warmed my heart. I wish every child felt this comfortable speaking to their parents about their sexuality especially at that age
*More "woke" crap from the leftist cult !!!* *It caught me by surprise at first, but since I PVR the show, I will now be fast-forwarding all scenes involving Noah !!!*
I love it how he says "It's not like I have a boyfriend or a girlfriend". The very concern for a parent shouldn't be what they like but if they're actually in the moment for having a relationship, which Noah knows is not yet, and if that relationship is good for their child
He's what 8 maybe 10 years old at the most, idk this just didn't sit right with me. If her was in his teens it would be different but this child is to young to be "coming out" I will say it was very well done and oli IA handled it amazingly just as a parent should but if this was reality and I was in her shoes I would sit and have a conversation with my son asking him what makes him think he's bisexual, and then go from there letting him know I support him
His character should be 10 or 11 at this time. I know I certainly had crushes/fantasies about both boys and girls by the time I was 11 (and thinking back, definitely had a crush on a boy classmate when I was 10). I'd say it's pretty standard to start having crushes around then.
When I was 10, I knew I loved David and Nani from Lilo and Stitch. I knew I liked Arwen and Aragorn the next year when I watched LOTR. 10-11 year olds can have crushes. We can understand the difference between our love for our parents and their love for each other. Most of us have older siblings who are dating. It’s not sexual. Noah just decided one day at school that some boy was cute and so was some girl and this is okay.
Part of me loves this scene because it shows how the writers are keeping up with these rapidly changing times. Kids ARE coming out at younger and younger ages. Last year I was talking to my 11 year old cousin subtly trying to explain that going into middle school is a time in her life where her peers might realize they're "different" and that's okay and it's okay if she's "different" too, and my cousin casually mentions "Oh, one of my friends is bi and has been out for a while" and I was like "WHAT?" because I couldn't believe my ears. I knew the times had changed to where it was normal for middle schoolers to realize and come out, instead of coming out in high school like most of my friends, but to *KNOW* and *COME OUT* before middle school was just wild, but also heartwarming. I realized when I was merely 11, and that was considered "young" at the time and I suffered in the closet until almost the end of middle school (which was still considered "young" to come out), and the fact that kids are comfortable enough in this world is just the best thing in the world. Sure, Noah's coming out moment is a bit robotic and embellished for TV, but it's depicting a real thing that's happening, whether you like it or not 🥳
@@michaelthorn5161 not true at all 😂😂 almost every person I know who’s gay was fully aware of that by the time they were 11 or 12. And these people are in their 20s to 40s so that’s well before LBGT+ was even a thing. When a 12 year old boy has a crush everyone thinks it’s adorable but if the crush was another boy y’all would act like he just Doesn’t know what he wants yet. It’s literally the same thing
I love this, I love this because it's clear that your cousin knows that you are a safe person, whom they can trust with their thoughts and feelings. Wonderful to see! ❤
Gay and bisexual kids exist and it’s fair to them to be able to be who they’re and receive support from their parents, do you even remember how exhausting is to keep the secret? Lmao
It’s called propaganda and thousands of brain dead idiots in the comments accept child sexualization without question. This is basically child grooming.
When I was Noah's age, I was too busy thinking about video games and my favorite cartoons and comic books. I never learned about "The Talk" and Sexual orientation until high school. Let me be clear, I have NOTHING against the LGTBQ+ community. Whatever people are into these days, that's their own business and I hope things work out well for them. But the idea that a kid is even thinking about sexual orientation that young just doesn't sit right.
yeah at that age are most boys even interested in girls? far less boys, or both at the same time. who knows - it's possible he could be confusing simple friendship among both sexes as being bi. not saying its impossible for him to be bi at that age but perhaps if he waits a couple years he will know for sure
As a member of the Lgbtq+ community, I would say that a lot of kids discover their sexuality at a young age every generation will have people that have they were just less open about it. there are also several people that have known they were gay from incredibly early on. Just because kids have figured out who they like or dislike doesn't mean they are thinking about sex or anything like that - being gay or LGBTQ+ isn't about sex. I would respectfully say if you have not been through it then you will not get it and please do more research and have more understanding. This story is in fact more accurate than most.
You didn’t know you liked girls by like age 6-7? I knew I liked guys around kindergarten. I remember having little crushes. I also remember people buying their kids’ gf or bf valentines gifts in elementary school. Then dropping them off to the movies alone in middle school.
I just love this. I did not have the courage to come out until I was in my late 20's. I was with my now husband for nearly 5 years and was asked by a female boss (who was dating a closeted gay man with awful oral hygiene). She asked my advice about him and asked if I had ever been with a male. I told her to not ask questions if she was not prepared for the truth. I told her that I was and with a man for nearly 5 years. My husband and I just celebrated 34 years together and married for 4 years. I moved my grandmother in with us back in 1990 since her son was abusing her. I told her before she flew back to NJ and her response was priceless....." You will get over it". I reminded her that I was gay...and it was not a bad haircut...she laughed and gave me a kiss and hug. When she met my partner ( who is now my husband)...they hit it off so well.....and it made me happy. I wish all parents could be like the character Olivia Benson. Cannot imagine how many lives would be saved if a parent just listened...and accepted. No one becomes gay......we are born that way,
Being born the way we are doesn't mean we don't have any morals or any value. We are all human beings and we'd better to get well with our neighbors. We share the same values and the same fresh air.
Born in the 90s. Had my first crush on a girl at 4 years old. I thought she was cute, friendly, soft, and felt bad that she had so many mosquito bites. I wanted to just be around her, hold her hand, and felt warm and smiled every time we talked. I had my first crush on a boy at 6 years old. I liked how his arms looked in his sleeveless shirts and his cool gelled hair. Felt warm and smiled when I got to talk to him, too. But because I didn't know until I was 12 that boys could like boys in the same way that boys liked girls, I had no idea that it had been a crush. I'm happy that kids can better understand themselves these days and get to have the same experiences no matter which kids they like.
At first I was conflicted that an 8 year old said he was bi, but then I heard what he said afterward and understood it. "It's just not fair for anyone to be left out" Meaning I think that he just doesn't see the need to only "consider" girls. Everyone needs love yk. That why should boys only like girls and vice versa. That everyone deserves a fair chance.
I mean I fully knew I liked girls when I was like 6. It’s not that unthinkable for young kids to know their sexuality, they just hide it for years until they realize they aren’t weird.
I know that people would have gotten annoyed if this was another Olivia and Noah case but when she saw her son got out of dog cage. Why didn’t she do something about it or like talk some sense into the mother’s head like what are you teaching your son. I’m sorry I like Olivia and all but they have turned her into one big softie lol like I appreciate her empathy for the victims but her being mama bear shouldn’t stop her from kicking someone’s a** or going over the top. I’m happy for her success as captain but I miss her as detective benson fr detective benson would not have left without saying anything trust and believe that😄😭🥴
@Aekwon Malcolm I may only be a teenager but I don’t need to have kids to understand that defending your child is the proper thing to do. I’m not blaming her or anything but I just thought it was weird when she didn’t do anything about it that’s all I didn’t mean to overreact it was just surprising at the time 😂 but I’m over it now nothing against her Like I said I love Olivia like heck she’s still one of my favorites since the beginning when I started watching svu.
Maybe she didn’t want to take out her badge & demanding answers as to why her son was in the dog cage & embarrass Noah. At the end Olivia talk to Annie(the girl) mom ( probably off screen)& suggested another play date at their house without the present of Hudson ( the older boy) . I love Captain Benson& the other SVU detectives (Rollins, Fin, Carisi
Ever since the one episode where Noah wanted to try out dance I kinda new (not saying that straight guys can’t do dance classes they can) just something about that episode gave me the feeling. 💝
When ever I hear people say that we shouldn't talk about or discuss sexuality to kids, it makes me flash back to being 10, knowing I was gay and crying myself to sleep every night because the only thing I knew about sexuality was what I was surrounded with at home and in the media, men date women. And I knew I liked boys, it made me feel like something was wrong with me and caused a lot of mental anguish. Maybe if someone had actually educated me as a kid about sexuality my life would have been much easier. Puberty is when people start having feelings of sexual attraction, and it begins around 10-12, that is the appropriate time to talk about sexuality with kids, when they start experiencing it.
Wow I’m really sorry that you experienced that and that you felt ashamed and not really able to talk about it we can’t change/help who we are. I hope that you have support in your life with people who love you for who you are something all of us deserve but not everyone has.❤️❤️
That's incredibly amazing and Noah is such amazing and strong little boy and it almost putted tears in my eyes and i am so proud of Ryan getting the part of Noah and Mariska Hargitay too also
It’s nasty what people are putting in kids mind that at that age that they can be bi when they don’t even know how to clean their butt when they go to the bathroom LOL. And TV participate in that. ITS JUST NASTY!!!!!!
I’m gay and this is *way* too young to be thinking about sexuality. I’m sure there are some kids who do, but nobody is doing us - or the kids - any favors by trying to normalize sexualization at such a young age. Just love your kids unconditionally. If you do that the rest will fall into place just fine.
Did we watch the same show because in the first few seasons they had gay characters and not a single one of the SVU team members had any issues with it
I know that Noah didn’t anybody before but he has the best mom he could ever ask for and Liv is amazing mother she’s loving caring and sweet and kind and always never gives up on anyone but she has never judged her son for anything he came out with that and she was proud of him for telling her that and she couldn’t be happier to be his mom I think and what I have been seeing from her is how sweet she is how kind she is how loving she is how caring she is and how she will never be able to judge anybody and her son needs a mom like that and he has one a cop who is a amazing person and she taught me that to be true to myself and I have learned that from her thank you Olivia for that
And when was that, pray tell? The show has *always* focused on the personal lives on the characters. Elliot and Olivia’s long simmering romantic tension? Each of their respective solo romantic lives? Rollins having kids out of wedlock with undependable men, and finally finding stability with Carisi? You just didn’t complain because they were “straight” love stories. Olivia supporting Noah for who he is shows she’s a good mom, in the same way we see time and again that she’s a good cop. For her especially, it’s always been about the conflict and overlap between professional and personal.
@@cakt1991 actually I did complain then as well - I couldn’t care less if it’s straight, gay or bi love so don’t try and tell me why I did or didn’t complain. The first few seasons there was very little focus on the private lives of the squad and instead was focussed on the stories themselves.
That was a huge shocker right there! Despite the fact that he’s just a kid, Noah had huge balls to admit that he is actually bisexual, and I totally salute and applaud him for being honest.
Awww he is so adorable and the little voice. Liv is such a sweet Mom and I love how she continued this normal conversation without pausing, questioning or making him uncomfortable 👌🏽😭
yes, his voice is "little" because he's PREPUBESCENT, he shouldn't be thinking about loving, or being sexually attracted to ANYONE! this is just a(nother) sick woke agenda being crammed into this show, it's completely unnecessary
The dislikes I’m sure far outnumber the likes This show has officially gone off the deep end, and even bringing back Stabler hasn’t helped. It has been headed in the wrong direction for years now, more obsessed with PC culture than actually telling good stories. Where’s the medical examiner, forensic psychologist, the twists and turns, all completely absent from the newer seasons. It was good while it lasted.
This was ridiculous, simply because Noah was only 8 at the time. There's no way he would know that already! It's obvious they put it in the show to appease today's audiences since it's so "in" to be "out" now. If he were a teen, I wouldn't be shocked, but he wouldn't have the mental or emotional maturity to figure something like that out so early. I wish they'd stop with all the political issues in these shows and focus on the crimes. Or at least make the issues believable. I personally can't even watch the new Law & Order because everyone is so blatantly racist/sexist/prejudiced in general, and it's so obviously forced that the actors don't sound like they even like saying the lines, lmao. Weird writing in that show. I still love SVU and Organized Crime though. Awesome shows!!
You are wrong. I know a woman who knew that she was trans when she was four. She was born a boy and always wanted to wear her mother's shoes and makeup. That never changed and she lives happily as a woman. Children absolutely can know or have a sense of these things. I remember having crushes on Donny Osmond and David Cassidy at that age. Why wouldn't a child of the same age not have a same-gender crush or have feelings for both genders?
Everybody is praising her for totally accepting what Noah said, actually she would have been a better mom if she has a longer conversation on why he thinks he is bi, growing throw puberty is a very confusing time and often pre teens and teens are confused about their body and sexuality, often it is just a phase, to blindly accept a child's statement that they are bi, gay or trans is not very good parenting and now a days its more virtual singling .
Did we watch the same show because in the first few seasons they had gay characters and not a single one of the SVU team members had any issues with it
Here at Witherspoon Living, we don't promote any type of sexuality especially within children under the age of 15. Our main concern is simply to promote friendships. Obviously for an individual to realize their sexuality it takes for them to realize what type of sex they enjoy most, this is very ironic since this show is based on sexual crimes. By the way, when did Law & Order become overrun with ridiculous and vapid plot lines? At this point the show should be called Woke & Legally Inaccurate. I'll stick to the early episodes, they seem to make the most sense.
I loved this scene; I have loved the character of Olivia Benson for a very long time. Also, I knew that Olivia would be a phenomenal mother to Noah, after she adopted him; it seems to me that the love Olivia has for Noah grows and grows with each passing season. I AM certainly not the only one moved to tears by the complete, unconditional love between these two beloved characters.
That is how my grandsons's conversation was with me. Just a regular conversation when he told me, no different than if he said he had a girlfriend. Remember how very young you were when you had your first crush? Probably younger than he is.
no, because most parents want their kids to be normal, to not be especially prone to sexually transmitted diseases, and, most importantly, to not go to hell
Lmao your hilarious 😆even tho I love Olivia but I have to agree this is half true😂😊 like why didn’t she do something about it lol they have turned her into a big softie honestly 😭🥴😏

He said it so smoothly without hesitation that I barely caught it. Every time I hear it mentioned I have to refer back to this clip because it slips my mind
My identical twin brother and I came out to my mom when we were six years old. We didn’t say the word gay. We didn’t say the word homosexual. We had no idea what those words even meant. We just knew that we were boys, and we were attracted to boys. We knew we were not attracted to girls. The kids know how they feel. They have no idea how to identify themselves because it wasn’t explained at their home, schools, film or TV. Now they are finally getting some guidance and clarity and can be true to authenticity.
Well I’m glad that you and your brother found out who you are and I hope your parents are supportive. I’ve always been told by my parents to be honest with who we are and if it means that we’re gay,bi etc then so be it,I’m loved as I am and we should all be supported/loved no matter how we identify. You can’t help or choose this I just wish that more people were open minded about it even if they don’t agree.
“It’s my truth.” The kid is like 10 years old. Kids are barely starting to get feelings like that (if at all). Let alone coming out as bi. I can’t believe they really put this trash out there…
no 10 year old kid says crap like "it's my truth" in regards to their sexuality (if they are even aware of it at that age). This was so badly written. Clearly written by an adult who wants to insert this stuff into the mouth of a child.
They don't make characters like Olivia anymore. Benson was flawed to say the least but he was a great character as well. They could've let Noah grow up just a tad more before exploring his sexuality.
I know some people are hating on this, and tbh at first I was like was this really necessary, but I am a mother and I think the way this was done was pretty casual and I think very natural as it should be. We may not all agree in this world but what we should agree on is that everyone is an individual and someones sexuality, gender, race, religion should not matter, we are all humans . SVU has been one of my fave shows since season 1 and it just keeps getting better and better 💖
Its brilliantly written, to Noah its important but not a big deal, he knows his mum will support him. Whats important to him is food! Kids have an amazing way of realising whats actually a priority
This is becoming way too liberal for me, I seem to be the only one that thinks it’s weird for kids to be thinking about their sexual preferences. I guess this is how the new world is now exposing young children to things they shouldn’t even be worried about.
At his age, everything might still change, many time around. I went to many stages of being gay, and bi, and even hetero, and back again, numerous times during my late childhood and early teens... I settle with who I am, for real when I was about 16-17...
It’s a shame that young children who don’t really know what they want because they’re not fully formed yet are allowed to make decisions that they are gay or trans or whatever they feel they want to be! what a sick world we live in I know it’s just a TV show, but good Lord, let’s not push our children into being things that they don’t understand
Yep, that's how parenting should be. when Lillian my 12 year old told me she's bi and said it like it was no big deal. I love Liz she really loves her son.
They could have but they didn't. And it's a good thing they didn't. People need more diverse representation of all kinds to understand that the world isn't only black and white. If you have a problem with this, then that's on you. 🤷🏻♀️
@@cakebeforeheartbreak the kids character is to young that's why I think it should of been left out of SVU and yes that's on me it's called a opinion which you have one also
@@rasyay He’s not six. And what’s nice about this is that this character is getting to know himself and accepting himself and others for who they are at such a young age and feels safe enough to speak to his mom freely about it, and she’s being supportive. Those are all good things.
Kids prior to 16-18 aren't emotionally mature enough to handle sex or sexual attraction which is why there's a "jail bait" age barrier between kids younger than 18 and adults older than 18. Here, Law & Order is using an 8-year old boy to exploit sexuality? That's kinda messed up and disgusting. Are we sure this is a crime show?
Remember this is a TV show with writers who write the script. Liv Benson is a TV character. This is showing how a conversation should go this wasn't a real conversation
I like that he said that it's no big deal. The only people who make it a big deal are those who can't mind their own business and leave others to live their lives the way they want to live them. They bully, criticize and terrorize others out of fear and weakness.
@Dan Aldrich I'm not sure it's clear what you mean about PUSHED. Are you saying that only "the majority of people" have a right to put their emotional expressions about others on display in advertising or entertainment? Why do I need to see ANYONE do anything more than smile and hold hands in public? I guess that's the "I don't like being told what to do and not to do" that every generation goes through with the previous one.
@Dan Aldrich And we sure the hell do not need their damned parades about their sexuality either! They scream discrimination every chance they get, yet they're the ones trying to shove their immoral lifestyles on everyone. Smh. Leave me out of your bedroom and you won't get your flamboyant feelings hurt.
@Mark. I AM trying to mind my own business. I absolutely do not share with anyone what I do in the privacy of my own bedroom. And I sure in TF do not want to know what you do in yours.
@Erin Which is why I described bullies the way I did. If you don't like seeing two guys hold hands, look away. If you don't like what's on TV, change the channel. I don't need someone to announce their preferences to me but if they choose to do it, I also don't need to approach them, assault them or verbally abuse them. I can simply say that either I'm happy for them or I'm not interested. As you can see, I don't get triggered easily.

I know a lot of people are being hateful and angry about this, but most members of the LGBTQ community know who they think is cute or who they have a crush on or don't fairly young. I work with a lot of members of this community in a middle and high school setting and many end up depressed or suicidal because of the backlash they get at home (in my area the schools aren't the issue; it's parents prefering a dead child to an LGBTQ one) There's a reason the suicide rate is 20% in gay, lesbian and bisexual young people and 40% in the trans community. They need adults to react like this- with complete and utter acceptance. It saves lives.

Yeah she had some great screenwriters huh?

I mean I fully knew I liked girls when I was like 6. It’s not that unthinkable for young kids to know their sexuality, they just hide it for years until they realize they aren’t weird.

@@chewbacca7373 to the moon that show is totally woke now😟
Olivia is literally the best tv mom to any law and order character. Mariska is the one who keeps the show going.
I’m happy for her success as captain but I miss her as detective benson fr detective benson would not have left without saying anything trust and believe that😄😭🥴
That that was sooo weird as well!
Right! I hated this episode. Extremely weird.
@@deffaccess571 you're extremely weird. Everyone hates you
@Aekwon Malcolm I may only be a teenager but I don’t need to have kids to understand that defending your child is the proper thing to do.
Same I knew too I watched that episode the other night actually lol
I hope that you have support in your life with people who love you for who you are something all of us deserve but not everyone has.❤️❤️
That's incredibly amazing and Noah is such amazing and strong little boy and it almost putted tears in my eyes and i am so proud of Ryan getting the part of Noah and Mariska Hargitay too also
I’m glad that the directors choose Ryan to be Noah. I love Ryan , Mariska & everyone else
Now that's what I'm talking about coming out to an understanding mother I just love it
It’s nasty what people are putting in kids mind that at that age that they can be bi when they don’t even know how to clean their butt when they go to the bathroom LOL. And TV participate in that. ITS JUST NASTY!!!!!!
How is a kid being bi nasty? Kids younger than Noah have crushes and that’s how they explore sexuality
Sick world

I bet if Noah just had a crush on a girl nobody would care
Nothing "sick" about being bi or gay.
Of course they have to throw this stuff in😂
“It’s my truth” 😂
I’m gay and this is *way* too young to be thinking about sexuality. I’m sure there are some kids who do, but nobody is doing us - or the kids - any favors by trying to normalize sexualization at such a young age. Just love your kids unconditionally. If you do that the rest will fall into place just fine.
This dialogue is so completely unnatural. No one talks like this. This kid speaks like a Tumblr blog
I agree. I made the same comment. This kid talks like some bad 1980s After School Special. Only now it's about sexuality and pronouns.
I actually agree as well.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS SHOW
It doesn’t feel like SVU this season :/
What do you expect it's a network and television show that's control by leftist, so this shouldn't be surprising to anyone including you.
Immoral sin wagon.... pulling up
THANK YOU CUZ WHATTTTT????

My favorite show has gone Wokey Woke. RIP Olivia Benson.
Did we watch the same show because in the first few seasons they had gay characters and not a single one of the SVU team members had any issues with it
I know that Noah didn’t anybody before but he has the best mom he could ever ask for and Liv is amazing mother she’s loving caring and sweet and kind and always never gives up on anyone but she has never judged her son for anything he came out with that and she was proud of him for telling her that and she couldn’t be happier to be his mom I think and what I have been seeing from her is how sweet she is how kind she is how loving she is how caring she is and how she will never be able to judge anybody and her son needs a mom like that and he has one a cop who is a amazing person and she taught me that to be true to myself and I have learned that from her thank you Olivia for that
I’ve been keeping up with svu for years and this just made my night 😭😭😭😭😭
Remember when this show used to just concentrate on the dark crime stories?
Those were the days.
@@Scott_M Since the first season Eliott's life was in the story. His wife, kids ecc ... The personal lives of the characters were always included
Seriously. I haven’t watched this show in a long time. Good to see I haven’t missed out on much 🤣
The lives of the characters used to be a side story...guess the show is running out of ideas.
Me too. Along with how he let's it sink in even with that calm squirming look on his face eager to say Let's eat like he did. So cute!
Great scene
He's a 6 year old bisexual 🤦
yes, his voice is "little" because he's PREPUBESCENT, he shouldn't be thinking about loving, or being sexually attracted to ANYONE! this is just a(nother) sick woke agenda being crammed into this show, it's completely unnecessary
@@rasyayyou can’t be sure he’s straight either

The dislikes I’m sure far outnumber the likes
This show has officially gone off the deep end, and even bringing back Stabler hasn’t helped.
It has been headed in the wrong direction for years now, more obsessed with PC culture than actually telling good stories. Where’s the medical examiner, forensic psychologist, the twists and turns, all completely absent from the newer seasons.
It was good while it lasted.
Agreed!
I mean I knew I liked boys at 4-5 🤷🏼♀️
You are wrong.
If a boy has a crush on a girl it's fine but if a boy has a crush on a boy it's sexualized and a part of propaganda
I knew when I was his age. I just didn’t know what to call it. We didn’t have the Internet or mass media that was talking about LGBTQIA issues.
Crazy how they went from helping special victims to creating them
🤭Shots fired
Yup
I love how casual he was about it, then he's all "can we go eat now?"
I was in tears after watching this! Noah is so strong and knew his mother would support him unconditionally!
Can Olivia benson not be more iconic and loving to the lgbtq community! Love her
That is how my grandsons's conversation was with me. Just a regular conversation when he told me, no different than if he said he had a girlfriend.
Remember how very young you were when you had your first crush? Probably younger than he is.
This was THE BEST!!!🥰🥰🥰🥺🥺🙏🏽
I hope we’ll get to a point in the future where people won’t have to come out. Where being gay and straight simply exist alongside each other equally.
I wish my parents said "thank you for telling me" when I came out as gay. But I guess we can't all have a parent like Liv.
Deve ser porque ela é a Olívia ali e não a Mariska. Talvez por isso , seja tão simples
I didn't have a bad reaction, but the first thing my mom said to me was "Is it my (her) fault?"
no, because most parents want their kids to be normal, to not be especially prone to sexually transmitted diseases, and, most importantly, to not go to hell
Bad ,Bad , Bad,is only a kid,and Olivia di Nothing About the cage...she defend more a víctimas than her kid

“It’s my truth.”
The kid is like 10 years old. Kids are barely starting to get feelings like that (if at all). Let alone coming out as bi. I can’t believe they really put this trash out there…
You can have crushes as a little kid
no 10 year old kid says crap like "it's my truth" in regards to their sexuality (if they are even aware of it at that age). This was so badly written. Clearly written by an adult who wants to insert this stuff into the mouth of a child.
I do feel “it’s my truth” is a bit much, but everything else sounds fine for a kid his age.
They don't make characters like Olivia anymore. Benson was flawed to say the least but he was a great character as well. They could've let Noah grow up just a tad more before exploring his sexuality.
This convo was about bullying as much as it was about Noah coming out. I'm so tired about bullying being in every tv show.
you know what even more people are tired of? bullying being in every day real life.
I’m tired of being bullied by lgbtq propaganda, rainbow flags, and pride month. How’s that?
I know some people are hating on this, and tbh at first I was like was this really necessary, but I am a mother and I think the way this was done was pretty casual and I think very natural as it should be. We may not all agree in this world but what we should agree on is that everyone is an individual and someones sexuality, gender, race, religion should not matter, we are all humans .
SVU has been one of my fave shows since season 1 and it just keeps getting better and better 💖
The problem is that the kids not even half as tall as his mother
Its brilliantly written, to Noah its important but not a big deal, he knows his mum will support him. Whats important to him is food! Kids have an amazing way of realising whats actually a priority
When it comes to sexuality, there's a difference between "someone" and an "8-year old kid."
This is becoming way too liberal for me, I seem to be the only one that thinks it’s weird for kids to be thinking about their sexual preferences. I guess this is how the new world is now exposing young children to things they shouldn’t even be worried about.
She’s really a great mother in real life also
Yes Mariska is
Noah is an AWESOME little guy. Definitely not afraid to be who he is.
At his age, everything might still change, many time around. I went to many stages of being gay, and bi, and even hetero, and back again, numerous times during my late childhood and early teens... I settle with who I am, for real when I was about 16-17...
He's growing so much.
I love how Noah came out so proudly and I love just how supportive Olivia is about it. She’s an amazing mom.
Why is it fine if a boy crushes on a girl but not if a boy crushes on another boy?
Noah, you've been raised well. Good job, Olivia.
Yep, that's how parenting should be. when Lillian my 12 year old told me she's bi and said it like it was no big deal. I love Liz she really loves her son.

@@rasyayare there not 6 year old straight kids?
Kids prior to 16-18 aren't emotionally mature enough to handle sex or sexual attraction which is why there's a "jail bait" age barrier between kids younger than 18 and adults older than 18. Here, Law & Order is using an 8-year old boy to exploit sexuality? That's kinda messed up and disgusting. Are we sure this is a crime show?
Kids can know these things at an early age
