I and others have figured out some awesome stuff with this monitor. We can now get DLDSR/DSR working at full 240 HZ and that is with using both HDMI and DP mode. There are also 3 settings in the service menu which each increase brightness further. You just need a service remote which is really, really cheap.
Could you provide some more insight as to how you achieve DSR with the full 240hz? I'm considering buying this panel used off a friend of mine, and this might just about push me to do so if I know it won't cap out at 144
I had a tough time deciding between this and the 27 inch version but I ended going for the 27 inch for the higher PPI. Enjoy your ur new monitor bro I'm sure you'll love it :D
just swopped out my 38inch ultra gear as wanted to go down the oled path , got the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 34 picture superb would have liked 38 inch as sweet spot for me. i use kef lsx2 for desk speakers with a sub , hard to beat for there size .....
Sorry it looks confusing but the Sonos Ones are rear speakers (Media Center is behind me) when I'm watching movies/gaming That said using for consoles definitely am a huge fan of the Sonos system overall. Have used a ton of their speakers can definitely vouch for the 5.1/7.1 setups if you want wireless/multi-room audio. Have not tested w/PC directly!
It an LG C1 TV but yup I just used a pan/tilt TV mount and aligned so bottom of TV hit right at top of my monitor No video out unfortunately but hope that helps!
I've been thinking of getting this but everyone bangs on about the low PPI. now it will be used only for gaming, do you notice a loss in quality or do you see the pixels when gaming?
It's amazing. For gaming it's, by far, the best monitor in the market in my opinion. It's even more insane when using Nvidia DLDSR @ 240 Hz and with the 3 brightness settings in the service menu.
Really considering this monitor I want it for both gaming and work but most of the review videos are gaming reviews and say they don’t like it for productivity. what are your thoughts on this monitor for workflow ?
Exact same boat I am in now. I work from home as well. As long as it can split (which it can obviously haha) I’m good to go. I don’t see how it could not be productive honestly
So 9mo later how you liking it?
