it has a matte screen doesn't it? quite a waste of an OLED if i'm being honest here, this OLED is already DIMM enough on SDR content (200 cd/m²) and a matte coating doesn't make it any good for use on daytime unless your room has curtains, plus it makes things look hazy, LG could have taken notes from alienware.
Why do 21:9 monitors always have this low resolution. There are tons of 4k 32 inch monitors, but as soon as you want a 21:9 ratio it is still impossible to get a single monitor that provides a comparable pixel density, at least if you want something with more than 75 hz. Always this sh.... 3440x1440, no matter how giant the monitor is....since years it is always the same resolution
Thas is a very shallow review. Its more like "Im a noob and don't know nothing about anything in tech. Let me have a look at $1500 monitor and see if I like it. Oh I like it in one game. Amazing product".
I would not buy a WOLED (what LG uses in their gaming monitors) display at this time as the new second generation of 'QD-OLED' will come out in January-February 2024. QD-OLED is the way to go even if they would have a slightly shorter lifespan over WOLED. The difference in that is so little that it wouldn't really matter. And for the love of god avoid matte displays. They make the contrast, brightness and clarity worser over the glossy displays.

Amazing monitor, but I'll wait for it to have a higher resolution. 1440p doesn't feel enough for such a large 45 inch monitor. Gonna stick with my 34 inch.
I don't know why, but this monitor is 300-350 bux more expensive on their own website than on any other store locally. What gives?
What happenened to today's Brettfast? I'm having withdrawal symptoms... I need my fix... help!
Such cringe when he takes the panel out of the packaging and sets it down on the desk like it's flat. They usually come in a curved foam piece that you set on the desk, tear the bag to expose the stand mount, put the mount on, set monitor on desk and remove bag.
Nah, bruh, i'd just buy a 42-inch C3, for probably half the price of this.
Only goes up to 120hz, and isn't ultrawide
Awesome monitor...I mean, really awesome....but who can afford this? Seems like a pointless review to an audience that will only be able to dream about this monitor. I love watching you guys and not trying to make it negative (which I know, sounds pretty negative) but I would've just love to have seen something that 95% of us could afford. Or even 50%.
Who can afford this? People with jobs and been working for quite a while 😂
@MrGts92 I work an amazing job. For over a decade. Make great money with a very happy life. So you are lying to yourself if you think most people can afford this. So sadly most people are laughing at you for thinking this.
@@Fiendz256 so you don't have a house or flat or a car or seasonal train ticket and never been on a holiday despite making "great money" at " an amazing* job".... They always make "great money" when talking about themselves on the internet don't they?🤣
@MrGts92 hahahaha ohh yeah you're right, you got me. I forgot, that's why 90 percent of us have 4090. Sorry didn't realize I was the stupid one.
@@Fiendz256 not exactly rocket science is it? If you supposedly have an amazing job with great money, it's clear you can afford it. If you prioritise not to and spend your money on something else, that's allocating funds not affordability. However that's not to be confused with the idea that you can buy everything you desire continuously in an instant.
Mate are realy assemble this monitor according to it's user manual :)? Don't think so
if you got the $$$$ it's worth getting 45" oled gaming monitor for gaming, movies, youtube, browsing the internet it's very good investment for your entertainment worth the price and oled is so good playing games, mmo rpg's and watching movies.
0:29 DUDE WTF
lol... there is only ONE way you are not supposed to lay down a curved display... and you did it.
way too big for 3440x1440 imo. 84 ppi at $1700....
it has a matte screen doesn't it? quite a waste of an OLED if i'm being honest here, this OLED is already DIMM enough on SDR content (200 cd/m²) and a matte coating doesn't make it any good for use on daytime unless your room has curtains, plus it makes things look hazy, LG could have taken notes from alienware.
Because 5120x2160 ultrawide is extremely hard to run....
@@drunkhusband6257 Most GPU's would burn out trying to support that pixel ratio.
AW3821DW 3840X1600
everything perfect, but poor resolution, 166 PPI only. 😞 Even my very old IIyama 25,5" 16:10 FHD has a higher resolution with 188 PPI
The resolution still too low for this beasts size and the text looks like crap. You have to use only for gaming.
Get the Samsung one
Wasn't Samsung first with a 240 Oled? this didnt come out till december the G9 oled came out before this. Also nah fuck EV man.
so early for one of your vids, gg
Not 4K, I'm out
4k is beyond overrated
Thas is a very shallow review.
Its more like "Im a noob and don't know nothing about anything in tech. Let me have a look at $1500 monitor and see if I like it. Oh I like it in one game. Amazing product".
how do u call a subpar monitor like this ultimate lol.
It's the largest ultrawide monitor every made, it's OLED, 240hz, and has the lowest response time of any monitor ever made...
He has no idea what he is talking about as always
I would not buy a WOLED (what LG uses in their gaming monitors) display at this time as the new second generation of 'QD-OLED' will come out in January-February 2024.
QD-OLED is the way to go even if they would have a slightly shorter lifespan over WOLED. The difference in that is so little that it wouldn't really matter. And for the love of god avoid matte displays. They make the contrast, brightness and clarity worser over the glossy displays.
