Thank you for your comment, in our area which is The Midlands of SC, most lots are flat or gently slope so there are not many basements here. My husband and I were builders for many years in this part of SC.
The water table is high here. That’s one reason for not having a basement. Moisture around the foundation and in the crawlspace is extremely common. Many houses actually have springs under them.
You need to stop South Carolina is one of the poorest states that you can move to why would you want to put us out li like this like this South Carolina does not have too much to offer to the Carolina people we are struggling we can get nothing all we have to do is go through it so who are you talking to and who are you talking about no homes here and you know what stop putting us on ppp😊 2:32

The basement on slopes is ridiculous. Lived in the mountains and we all had basements. Have a professional builder talk about houses and construction.
