I love the difficult patterns too and I love a challenge. Don't underestimate your entire audience. The fast ones are fun, but the harder ones are like a good juicy puzzle!
HI Cathy, Thanks for your comments. We love all kinds of sewing and quilting. If you would like to see some of our more advanced tutorials, check out www.ImagineWithRileyBlake.com All the classes are free, and we have a great variety of skill levels.
Made this quilt with some fat quarters I had. Easy to follow pattern, and I had the video on my I pad for support! Loved how it went together. Cindy and Kimberly are a fun combo to watch. Enjoy you both.
Cute pattern! I'm teaching my 8yr old to sew and piece quilts, and I love these easy patterns as teaching tools! Thank you for the video! It's been fun to see the 2 of you together lately! I can always tell how much you both enjoy each other! Happy quilting!
Love, love, love you two ladies! This pattern and fabrics are beautiful! Downloaded the pattern and making the pillow today. I always like to do a trial run of a pattern and the pillow is perfect for that.
Kimberly, All of your tutorials are always so well done. You explain things to us quilters that don't know , but you make your patterns to look like you've done so much hard work. Then as usual, it's simple. Thankyou Kimberly
Wow! What an awesome quilt & pillow! You don't see many people making pillows too match their quilts......but maybe there are some that I don't know about. Yea! A project that uses only 12 fat quarters! Future quilt project! ❤ P. S. - another reason to buy the alphabitties! Lol
I'll have to keep Swiss dot in mind for background. When there is a lot of negative space I like something that adds as little interest, like tone on tone, and now Swiss dots. I think I'd sew a second line on the snowballed corners. Looked like the left over will become a nice size hst.
I think I would spray the quilted front of the pillow with 505 very lightly because the fabric shifts and can create bubbles when I pin that many layers together. At least I could pin with stability.
I have had two pink Oliso irons. The first one stopped producing steam. They sent me a second one which lasted 6 months with no warranty. I liked not having to lift my iron, but when I pay that much for an iron, I want it to last longer than 2 years.
Ugh, I know I comment too much, so I really apologize for that, but I wanted to add one more thing! I wish all patterns were laid-out like It's Sew Emma's are. I've found moving from one of their patterns to another I'm able to move through them SUPER smoothly. I wish everyone did them that way. Nadra Ridgeway (of Ellis & Higgs) makes GORGEOUS patterns that use the same method. Her patterns are both beautiful and come together exactly like It's Sew Emma's patterns.
Loooooove Riley Blake. I would die to have every color of the Swiss dots. I use it for so many projects... I should probably buy stock... Really loving this collab!!!

Hi SmittenKitten, Thanks for your feedback. We always appreciate it. We'll pass this along to those in charge of pattern writing.
Oh, I wasn't fussing at you guys! I'm sorry if it came across that way. I was just being enthusiastic about their pattern style. :) I love you guys!

Why do you use a shorter than average stich length? I ususall6 is 2.0 I love your videos, the cutting and instructions are very clear. Thanks.
Hi C, The 1.8'' stitch length is just a personal preference for Kimberly. She recommends you use the length you like to use. Thanks for asking.

I cannot find the pattern. Is it not available anymore??
where do you get the letters from and what are they called again
Why do so many patterns use fat quarters?..... I use charm packs or layer cakes, only because it’s more affordable
where do I go to get the free pattern?
