This is so pretty. I love the simplicity of this pattern. I have not tried soft and stable, but I will definitely get some now. Thanks a bunch for the great video!
Where did you locate the cutting instructions for the background 3 5/8 yards? A-D? I think I figured it out but i thought there was supposed to be part 2 video.
This is how I like to make the backing for pillows. Love the fabrics, pattern and how easy it is. Thanks Kimberly and Cindy. BTW, Kimberly, you look angelic in white. 😇
I always keep refills for my Frixion pens on hand, because I go through them so quickly. I use them for everything. Though the pink and red colors don't fade completely with heat like the other shades.
With careful cutting, On the strip where you cut your 9.5 and 6.5 piece, you should also be able to get one 3.5 block. Do this for both and you will have all your pieces.
at 12:04, during the pillow part, the green and white block being made into a pillow looks like it has added white margins? or is that extra soft and stable that you can see and will be trimmed away before back of pillow is added?
Hello Christine! The green and white block has white margins added and then Kimberly quilted to soft and stable to the back. We also have instructions on how to add the margins on this free downloadable pattern (page 5): static.fatquartershop.com/media/wysiwyg/pdf/PicnicTime-Pattern.pdf
Thank you, looks like a fun quilt to make. I also love the Riley Blake Swiss Dots. I am using the Red/White Swiss Dots right now on a project. So Cute? The link for the pattern worked fine for me.
Love this quilt! However, the link for the free pattern did not give me this pattern, but another one. And I did not find it on the Riley Blake or Fat Quarter Shop websites. Maybe I am too anxious and you just haven't put the pattern on the websites yet. 😊 Just trying to find the pattern; it looks so easy to make but makes a beautiful quilt!
I thought in your video/tirtorial you stated that next you were hoing to hsow the background cutting! Maybe not the exact words. Is there another video? Even if some place it was listed width and number of strips. For A-D if using yardage, using 42” wide, A=8 strips 3.5”, B= 5 strips 3.5”, C.=9 3.5”strips, you get two out of each WOF. D = 8 strips WOF. Is this correct
The link for the free pattern does not go to this particular pattern, or am I missing the correct link? Enjoyed the video especially the pillow instructions.
This is how I will finish pillows from now on. Just lovely
This is so pretty. I love the simplicity of this pattern. I have not tried soft and stable, but I will definitely get some now. Thanks a bunch for the great video!
I use scrabble blocks from an old scrabble game missing things...works really well
This is adorable! I love that clever tip on the HST in the corners of the block.
Lovely quilt , beautiful colours.
Great fabrics and I love the pattern. I also love that you used something besides straight white for the background

I have a pink Oliso also, LOVE IT! I have PA & OA and this iron keeps me from having to bend my wrist to set the iron on end.
Awesome❣️
Sew fun! Thank you!❤️
Lovely ladies, lovely quilt!
Beautiful Quilt! Can’t wait to make one up. Please correct the link for the free pattern. It directs you to an appliqué quilt pattern.

Love the fabric! And love your nail polish what color n brand of nail polish are you wearing ??? thank you for all your videos !🌻🐝☀️
Hello Bee Charmer! Kimberly is wearing OPI Cajun Shrimp.
Oh, it's weird hearing your music at the top instead of Riley Blake's "Seinfeld" type music! Love this pattern.
Lol!

Just trying to find the pattern; it looks so easy to make but makes a beautiful quilt!
I love this! I'd love to make this one. The link for the pattern isn't working. I guess I missed the opportunity since it's not a new video.
This link should work! static.fatquartershop.com/media/wysiwyg/pdf/PicnicTime-Pattern.pdf

What is the pattern of the blocks on the wall? Are they framed and, if not, how are they hung up on the wall?
Would I be able to use 5 inch charm packs for my fabric squares?
Hello Jandy! 5" square is large enough to cut the square pieces in the block, but not the rectangle pieces.
How do you starch the fabric?
Hello Sam! Here is a video on how Kimberly starches her fabric: ua-cam.com/video/SI4xziZlx9Q/v-deo.html
I have the Nobody fights alone fat quarter bundle. Would this be a good pattern to use?
Fat Quarter Shop - what fabric would you suggest that would be similar to Hello Lovely?
Hello Nita! Please email service@fatquartershop.com

C Olson, cutting instructions can be found in the free pattern here: static.fatquartershop.com/media/wysiwyg/pdf/PicnicTime-Pattern.pdf
Did you add the trim to your top Kimberly?
Hello! No, that is how the top came but that would be cool!
I’m watching this video and your saying cut 2 -3 1/2 strips, but you cut 3. Is it suppose to to 2 or 3 strip?
Yes, I tried the link and got a different quilt pattern
