Thanks! learnt a few things. I just started my first English paper piecing project using hexies! I didn't think I'd like the hand sewing part of it all but like one commenter stated- it's addictive!!! loving the hexies and this method is simpler than I first thought- especially with the glue!!
Hello , I have been told that I can not starch and cut up my pieces and store in bags by sizes & shape for very long that I must use ASAP ..while waiting to afford to buy my Sewing Machine , I have purchase the Accuquilt Go Big Die Cutter I have had my pieces cut up since last June 2016 for different project that I plan to do and still cutting up more pieces for other projects to do. The reason I have been told not to store fabric very long is because the starch will attract "moths" how true is this. should I use the older bag of project first, maybe date the bag along with the size of pieces for my projects
Hi Mary Lynn, Unfortunately, we do not have any expert advice on your question. We would suggest a Google search, That's what we would do to find out more. Good luck with your project!
Crikey moses a knicker knot? Not necessary, looks very faffy and time consuming. I've never used one and my piecing has NEVER come apart. Just one looped knot is sufficient.
