- Back by popular demand, Oz has returned with another new and improved tutorials on one of his kit bash builds. This time it is from his award winning Ork army, his Kustom Burner Dread!
Using the Deff Dread kit, some plasticard, and some other looted bits, you can learn how to make this Deff Dread.

Played against these guys at the Warhammer World doubles! Great gents, superb hobbyists and amazing fun to play. Well deserved winners of best army!
Thankyou mate, and thank for watching. What army was it you used? - oz
This is the orkiest thing I have ever seen. This plus the UZI and quad tubed rocket launcher Deff Dreads are incredible. You kept it so close to the spirit of an Ork Dred. Please do more of these walk-throughs, especially with the quad tubes and uzis!
Thanks so much. I have a theme for my orks that is sort of a bloodaxe theme but all about building stuff proper. 😅. It was the original plan to do the video on the rocket dreads but i got carried away with flamers 😂 - oz
This has given me a great idea for a death korps themed sentinel
Awesome, try and show us if you can?

Dude, As I love Ork Dreads You put them to another level. Hats off... 👏💪🤜🤛😈
Thank you 😊 👍🏻
Easily one of the best builds I have seen!!!
Absolutely amazing stuff buddy, super orky and looks fantastic 👍🏼
Thanks so much for the comment and taking the time to watch 😊👍🏻
Beautiful looking burner dread
Just got a Dread in the Combat Patrol kit and was saving it for this.
I got the combat petrol box as well. Really good box - OZ
Such a deffskullz looking warmachine, excellent.
looks insane gj
The tanks on the back are cool.
Thanks 👍🏻
Just built one kinda like this but used the kmc from the mek gun and made a flash git looking dredd.
Sounds really cool 👍🏻
Going to come back to this for the details later!
Hope you enjoyed it 😊. Thanks - oz
Your work has really inspired me to do this stuff to my deff dreads! Though I’ve been looking at your stuff and I’m wondering how you managed to make the plasticard magazines on some of your dreads?
Just what we all needed! Thanks 👌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it 😁. Thank you - oz
Great build… really top class, inspired now. 👍
Thank you. Glad it inspired you 😊 oz
This is amazing and the editing was really on point (loved the 3d schematic for the hands). Really makes me want to try it with a Kustom Mega Blasta
Thanks man, I really wanted to make it as comprehensive and easy to follow as possible as it's a complex build and not everyone has English as their first language. There's 2 more tutorials from Oz on the horizon, once I get around to editing them!

@@40KBunker great news :D
This was an amazing idea boss! Gonna haf to save me teef up!
Thanks 👍🏻 😊
Awesome work! Love it and now want to start an ork army…
I’d honestly love to see more deff dread conversions, it’d be great to see what you could do with a more “close combat” load out. Huge two handed saw-axe maybe?
Thanks 👍🏻. I did a commando dread a long time ago as part of a build battle. And the rocket dreads. But a double handed axe does sound cool. Just a share the rules just changed and nurffed the attacks on a dread with multiple combat weapons - oz
@@40KBunker yeah I’ve seen you’re other dreads and the killa kans on your Instagram, which are ace too! It’s always a shame when the rules don’t support your cool conversion ideas, but such is life I guess.
Looking forward to whatever you come up with next.
Its ganna hopfully be a space marine redempor dread next. Then i hopfully go back and do a killakan video if i dont get to distracted by tau stuff.
@@alexsmith175 Exactly man still salty megadreads don't have a scorcha option anymore. Wanted to make flame boss dread with a tank on back with black food coloring and a bit of water or something for the fuel and have a smokestack pipe at his face with a plume of black smoke. His scorcha being used like a lighter. Sad that option and my desire for the conversion got sapped in one stroke. Makes no sense the smaller dreads can have scorchas and the bigger ones can't, just gw things.
amazed they left any grass around for the base to be on. I kid but this is really impressive
Thanks! Oz really has a way with bits! I'll pass on the feedback to him. -Andy
EFT meets 40k = Killa Kan
EFT as in escape from tarkov? If so yes. 🤣😎
Very cool!
Thanks 👍🏻 - oz
4:50 I'm pretty sure they glue into the rokkit launchas
Without a doubt the best tutorial for a kitbashed Dread out there. Looks absolutely stunning mate. Any chance we could get a tutorial for the rocket pods and big shootas too?
Thank you. ☺️. I haven't done anything with the rocket luncher yet but going live in the next week or so will be a short tutorial on building killakans and as part of that i built the big shoota so that will hopfully help 🙏
Wow
Painted? Orks da best
Great and inspiring build. Your end result pictures don't showcase the model enough though.
absolutely gorgeous, but WHADDABOUT DA KLAWZ BOSS?
His hands are the size of a space marine. That counts right?? 🤔 🤣
@@40KBunker checks out
Whoooooooop!
This is awesome! Hope we will see the rocket launcher next?
I don't have any plans to build more rocket dreads at the moment. But if I do are definitely record it 👍 - oz
@@40KBunker do you have a link for the hand drill and bit?
Nice build. Super sick man. Just not very strong and Orky's hands, lol. You must really hate all chaos kits with all their spikes, lol.
what company makes the hexagon rods? been looking for some for a long while.
Plastruct is the brand i buy. Dont know how common it is but should be able to find it on ebay or amazon
@@40KBunker you are a godsend my guy thank you
Huzzah,,, Burner
Deffe till I dieee.
You knows it 😁
How thick would you say the hoses are?
I'd say probably about 4mm.
Mort
Big beefy burner boy
Yes. Yes
Love the conversion/kitbash, unfortunately it is increadibly impprtant to remember that not every second of footage needs to be in the final video, I think you would get better watch time and what have you if you recorded your voice over explaining what you did, edit that down, and then go through the video, insteax of talking over the video.
If you listen through again you might notice a lot of ums and uhs, and unecessary pauses, bits were your stalling until the next important thing happens. If you removed that the voiceover would be a lot shorter and concise.
Pete the wargamer does a really good job of this sort of stuff, and keeps his videos shorter.
All recomendations, but I love the idea and the exicution.
Thanks all noted. Somthing for me to work on gor the next one. Only my second video and it all a learning experience. But i think this one was a big improvement from my first 🤔😅. Thanks oz
