Often times when watching warhammer hobby youtubers with a comedic slant, they go way too far into the comedy and not enough into the hobbying. Glad to say that you're nothing like that and have only really gotten funnier *and* better at showing your processes all at the same time! Beautiful.
A couple other kitbashing/trashbashing things you could try: - Using zipties as ammo belts for large guns. Turn them with the ziptie part out, and I think it would pass as a believable ammo belt after priming and painting. They come in different sizes, too. - For easy and cheap rivets, get some of those little diamonds they use for that sticky diamond art stuff. I got one of those kits for Christmas one year, and I found that I have a lot of spare diamonds after using a color, and they work perfectly for rivets. The kit even had a little cement pen to help put the rivets on more smoothly. Though if you're doing Ork terrain, the random different rivets do make it more Orky. - If you wanted to add small, bent pipes as detail, cut a long length of the rounded sprue and light a small candle to heat the part where you want it to bend, then quickly dip it in water. Obviously, you want to make sure to be safe with it, but I found it's a handy way to use up excess sprues if you have them.
Make sure you anchor the zip tie at each end really well, since that stuff really doesn't want to hold onto paint, and if it bends it'll start flaking pretty fast.
I am deeply disappointed that I didn’t think of the I-beams from store hangers after tossing literally hundreds away from years of buying clothes for my kids. I learn a ton from every one of your vids. Thx!
I’m dying to start building models like these, but i have no idea where to start. Maybe you could make a video where you talk about various tools needed to start building models? Something like a “must have” list of tools etc. I think a lot of people would be interested to know. Anyway, absolutely love your videos!
0:21 Being reminded of EpicMealTime gave me a sudden nostalgia trip, so thanks for that. The real question is when will we get a piece of terrain made primarily of sbakol? Jokes aside, keep up the good work.
Have you ever used plastic knives with serrated plates to make chain blades? I'm making those as I want to have more chain bladed choppaz with me orkz, plus they can be used to vehicle builds too.
Hey i want to recomend you a bit that is super cool if you want to make aerial units or super nitro turbo powered ork cars: Basically when you go to a dollar store buy a bunch of hose atachements in the garden section, that atachements had a cool part that resembles a turbo reactor with all parts neccesary to make a turbine.... minus the ventilator.... but hey maybe work for you so good as for me this trick is working!
for roughing up the plastic, don't use your hobby cutters, they're prone to benting. i even ruined the wire cutter i use for thicker sprue parts when i tried to twist some plastic into shape... or out of shape, as it were. Pliers are better for the job, in my experience.
Please exercise caution. I usually wash the wood in a bucket with detergent and then place it on a foil lined baking sheet in a very low oven, maybe 200F degrees . When it's dry, it's cooked.

I swear you unleash this guy in a junk yard and he'll come out with a 10k pt ork army vehicles only. And he'd have 6 ork battlefields to play on
Maybe we should XD
Waaaagh!!📣
Ah. But Games Workshop would never allow it. As it they are not GW Official Figures. *slaps a GW sticker on them*. Now their official.
So would a mech boy and a dozen Gretchen's
Nah he'd have a life size gargant

I chipped a tooth.
"Someone who doesn't like sand" I imagine they don't like sand because it's all coarse, and rough, and irritating. And it gets everywhere.
Hmmmm… You sound familiar
I scared my dog with how loudly I laughed at SHOOTA
Hey you are the dude of the howl's moving castle !

Who couples who? I want to know who the original is as they will be more relevant rather than some copy cat
They do the same things but they are not copycats

Hahahhaa 11/10 use of Robert Muldoon. You are giving me that orky itch again!!
He comes back to us now, at the turn of the tide.

Honestly, the gun on this one is amazing. Can't thank you enough for the ideas and methods. Amazing work man, can't wait for more :)
"this static defensive structure is going to be so fast" - Some Ork probably
Bro, that shoota and ammo belt is sick af! Love your work!
Your scratch build video was riveting!
I love that:
"What is the value of an extended showcase?"
- proceeds to cut showcase short
What a madlad.
It brings me great joy knowing we have the same oven.
purify that bark, homie
I appreciate that we get to watch your entire process of building from beginning to...

I really like the lore accurate method for building that shoota

this is pure art and genuity at display. You have my subscribe!
I love Orky scratch builds and they love using bits and bobs, great build =)
I've been wondering how to make a good, super rugged stone cliff, and here it comes within the first 2 minutes
Madness out of chaos again! I love it.

I used a few to make a giant chainfist on my old Gargant build. Check it out! (warning: primitive video)

Welcome!
I love this build.
The disc rejects sand like Anakin Skywalker, come on that one was a layup!
see chapter heading ;)
I saw that bark on the ground and thought "yeah right" but after the PVA I can see it, really good.
As soon as I saw the lid of that Spackle come off, all I could hear was Jon Bernthal. “NONONONO, WAITWAITWAITWAITWAIT”
I wonder if folks could send in some random bits, maybe have an 'unboxing' and build ?
Seems like it could be fun.
I would have so many bits that I would die :D
Spackle soup is the best soup - fantastic build m8, very inspiring
I'm so glad I found this video
I swear orc players are the best at kitbash, really plays into their character
This was riveting.
This is such a great video!!
man that's awesome!
dude this is a really good channel holy hell.
glad you consumed/enjoyed the content
Orktastic build.
I must say that it is incredible that you can make beautiful orky stuff using literal junk and some random stuff from outdoors.
Sounds awesome!
Glad to see you're back!
Rock looks like frozen lava. Superb. Your paintwork is mesmerizing.❤️🔥
Excellent paintig technique.
You are a genius good sir!
Geezer here...
In decades past Red made orc "war wagons".....
Was a hoot.
Game on.

Damn, just remembered that I threw out my old keyboard before I started collecting bits...
nice memes, i like your ultimate insane warhammer 40k ork terrain.
did he just convert that paint... nice.
Studson sent me and I am not disappointed. subscribed!
The disk rejects sand harder than Anakin Skywalker....
I can't be the only person who thought that
Ok. Honestly, the shootah legit looks like something GW made.
Growing up with Legos, seeing you destroy a Mega Bloks piece made me just so happy.
wow
Truly epic!
Amazing
that was the best ending in history
word up fucking amazing guy you got skills dude
ORK FORK! ORK FORK! ORK FORK!

@@ScratchBashing HECK YEAHHHH
i find it so funny how gw has made it so you cant use these awesome custom warhammer stuff when its one of the biggest parts of the ork lore
What spackle of kindness is that?

There was a missed opportunity to make a joke about Anakin at 6:26

You’d think you were a nid player with how you build stuff. Random canibalized pieces held together by just spraying goop in between
Da red makes it shoot fasta.
extremely high on fiber!
Wololo made me laugh way too hard

Could you repeat what you used the thin the red paint? I missed it

Question: How long do you 'Cook' the Tree Bark for? I want to try my hand at making something like this.
Please exercise caution.
I usually wash the wood in a bucket with detergent and then place it on a foil lined baking sheet in a very low oven, maybe 200F degrees .
When it's dry, it's cooked.
@@ScratchBashing Thank you!
If you painted it blue, what are the chances the turret would jam or otherwise misfire?
That would be $160 at GW
🟦 Wololo! 🟥
Love your work! Suitably orky.
I was wondering what the first piece of music that you used is called?
thanks! "Alone" from the UA-cam royalty free library!
@@ScratchBashing Thanks so much for that. Shazam was simply NOT having it :/
There are so many songs called Alone on that list, but I finally found 'Emmit Fenn | Alone' It's such lovely and atmospheric music.
Never clicked so fast
So why the isopropyl alcohol? Is it to sanitize the tree bark or does it help with the pva glue?
It helps the bark absorb more glue (I have been led to believe!)
Do you have the specifications for the oven sterelization? (temp and time=)
Your set up my vary, but I would stay below 200F at around 30 mins. Attempt at your own risk and do not leave unattended!
