Another great and enjoyable review. Those Cleverly/Sargents are amazing. I am not certain but I believe that the narrower waist on the Cleverly may contribute to the snugger fit in the instep/vamp; or is it all in the last of the shoe. Anyway, thanks for the update on the Carminas too. I believe Potter and Sons can recraft those Sargents for you.
I do think the tighter waist contributes to the better fit, as well as more arch support. On my second set of Yearn shoes, they added more arch support, which was the ticket!
@@bigbristv I want to try other brands, but the narrow waist on the TLB Artista line keeps me coming back for more; they just work for me with both fit and appearance. Yearn has been on my radar and now the Adam II. Thanks BigBrist
@arthurcatalanotto1151 sorry if I'm tempting you, not my intent. I have another pair of TLB and another Yearn coming soon. I think I have a problem 😕 😅
Hi there, another wonderful video with nice shoes. Do you mind asking if you paid any custom duty/taxes for having them delivered in the US? Being in Canada I would've paid 20% custom + 12% GST. Thanking you in anticipation.
I definitely LOVE YOUR TASTE IN SHOES!!!
Thanks, I knew you'd like them 😄
Chocolate Suede Cap-Toe Oxfords are FIRE!!!
They sure are! Thanks

@@bigbristv Glad to hear that I am not alone. Hopefully a video comparing the two brands?
Nice review. I have sargent cambridge boots by paul sargent. Very nice. Great collection.
Thank you! I was on the brink of sending my shoes in to Paul Sargent for repair, them BOOM! Gone 😔
Have you ever owned shoes by Alfred Sargent to compare?

Thank you! I did not have to pay any import duties. I believe anything under $800 is duty-free in the US.
@bigbristv Thanks for the information 👍
@rs4249 you got it. I hope you don't get hit too hard
Try steve at bedo's leather works he is really good
Thanks for the recommendation. I actually sent these to him, but we didn't end up working together.
The British don’t make a better shoe than the Japanese. Especially Yohei Fakuda.
I can't speak to Fakuda san's work, yet 😉
