      Work on that log, and you’ll be an awesome strongman! I don’t think Brian mentioned it, but when you dip down in the spider pose before cleaning the log, I like pulling the log into my chest and then essentially doing a front squat to clean the log up on your chest.

    As for the tire flipping - man, that little 45* nuance and keeping the feet back catches me every time! I tend to tuck my feet in too far and try to push the thing straight up instead and gas right out. Thanks for the reminder tip.

    I feel like brab is such a powerful individual that when technique breaks down he instinctively falls back on brute force. Would it benefit him to break each move down and practice the singular movements of that lift? For example instead of practicing the log clean and press he just worked on rolling the log first. Huge fan kf both of you guys by the way. Great video!

    Hey Brad, not sure how busy of a schedule you may have in the military ( my father & brother do). But if so, do you think it's possible to get a good powerlifting/strongman workout in in under 60 minutes?

    • @BradArbic
      @BradArbic 5 років тому +2

      Andrew, my schedule varies a bit. So there are times when I have more time than others. I think it is possible to get a good session in with only an hour, but there are some things you have to do ahead of time. First thing is you have to know exactly what you're doing before you go in, so you don't waste any time. Second is you have to prioritize your work. Take the most important movements and make those first. By doing so you make sure you get the most value from the training if you have to cut it short or you run out of time. Third is cut out anything that you don't need, or save it for when you have more time. By this I'm thinking more in the warm up type stuff. If you only have an hour to train you shouldn't spend much/any time foam rolling. Save that for the evening before you go to bed or something. Last I think you have to make decisions about how much rest time you'll need and you need to plan accordingly. If you are doing more of a powerlifting routine, you'll likely take longer rest periods and you need to account for that so you have an idea about how much work you can actually get in. Andrew, I hope that helps, hit me up whenever if you have more questions. Thanks to your Dad and brother for their service, and thanks to you for the question.
