Toast, if your wisdom teeth have impacted (sprouted from your gums) the earlier you remove them the better. I lost part of my jaw because bacteria got in through the wisdom teeth site and ate away at my jaw bone. If you're worried about anesthesia, ask around for your friends' dentist. If the dentist has take out their wisdom teeth and successfully anesthetized them then you should be fine. If it helps I'm Taiwanese and had wisdom teeth that were horizontal in my mouth. I've done two colonoscopies and the wisdom teeth removal and did not die from anesthesia.
Toast has something in common with Arnold Schwarzenegger! Arnold also learnt to speak slowly because of his accent, and now he's made it his own iconic speech pattern. I feel Toast also has done that. His way of speaking definitely adds a lot of weight to what he says when he's serious, and adds to the deadpan humor when he's joking.
His fight choreo was SO unique and amazing. I spent so much time as a kid rewatching haloid and the dead fantasy animations. Couldn't keep going with RWBY after he was gone, it just felt too different.
A waiver doesn't mean that the company that issued it doesn't need to maintain a certain level of safety but they tend to use it as an excuse to extend the court case. Hopefully the streamer got a good settlement at least because spinal injuries mess you up for life even with surgery.
As an avid fisherman, the way I can describe why I enjoy fishing is sorta the fight of it. It doesn't count that you caught a fish until you have it in your hands. And the fight between the water and land becomes more drawn out and epic the larger the fish. It's a fun mix of luck and skills. Skills on how to locate areas of higher density fish population in bodies of water, how to entice them in especially when using artificial lure, and how to keep your fish on the line once they've hooked on. Because counterintuitively, hooks themselves aren't actually that great at holding onto fish. Balanced by the luck aspect, on whether or not fish will bite due to variables out of your control. In gamer terms, it's like a high stakes boss battle with RNG. It's not about spotting the enemy, but identifying their spawnpoints, crit-hitboxes, and dodging attack behaviour, in a dynamically changing battlefield. Or sorta like in pokemon games when you walk through the tallgrass hoping to catch something actually good Edit: Fish are a little delicate but not THAT delicate. That fish for sure survived and is happy toast lol.
@@eds1057 They really do lol. Predatory fish tend to target fast moving artificial lures, and bottom feeder fish will tend to only eat still sitting bait. An experienced fisherman that's familiar with a body of water can more often than not correctly guess what fish is on the line just by how they tug it when they're fighting. Predatory fish tend also tire out quickly contrary to bottom feeders but will often jump out of the water in order to unhook itself. I lost a big fish that way. I'm still angry about it to this day lol
I hadn't heard Monty Oums name in years, I hadn't heard how he died, and wow that really brought up memories. Wonderful guy and I understand Toasts fear
Just so other people know, the fan didn't realise the situation and when they did notice they asked if she was okay, and then Emily directed the interaction from there to make the photo happen. There's so much hate for that random dude lol. Also she communicated that she's got it and to not worry, so yea he's going to leave afterwards.
FYI stitches prevent scars. Scars are formed from deep tissue lacerations. Stitches force the deep tissue to hold together and bond. I had a deep cut from a concussion which is nearly invisible today but another more shallow cut that I attempted to fix with a butterfly bandage and the scar is super obvious.
A waiver does not fully protect companies it’s usually a protection/admittance that the activity you are participating in carries certain risks but it does not extend to gross negligence of a company. For example, faulty equipment would not be covered under a basic waiver.
The thing about waivers is people presume they protect you than far more than they actually do. If you break a law the waiver won’t protect you. Like in a case where the injury is caused by gross negligence on a companies part the company can still be sued even if they had the person injured sign a waiver. It only really covers you in instances where you genuinely aren’t at fault but could be sued bc it happened on your premises. It’s still useful to companies for that reason but it isn’t like immunity to being sued for every outcome
It's so much worse than Toast described. That guy signed up for a Disney+ subscription *trial* in *2019* and he didn't even proceed with the subscription!

For anyone in the same boat with the wisdom teeth, You can use a straw after 5-10 days. I used it after 5 and was fine with actual cigarettes after I got 5 teeth removed at the same time. There is ZERO reason to be put under to get them removed, the general anesthesia is the dangerous part. You're numbed, and get painkillers after. The laughing gas just takes the anxiety out of the equation, that's all. Not dangerous, it's a MILD sedative. General anesthesia isn't required at all, and you'll be numb anyway.
You can fish with fake lures if you feel too bad. They are made to mimic movement with the water and reflect light to attract attention. But this was a nice relaxing podcast.

Also most fish survive being put back in water, a lake fish should also be fine with its oil coat being touched, its more exotic fish that should not be touched. I think the people born before the early 2000's tend to underestimate what the early 2000's actually grow up with, cause to me harry potter feels pretty recent, but its not. Shows like spongebob or classic animes, I grew up with all those things, I'm sure most of the people born in the early 2000's experienced it as a toddler or younger too.
Waivers: Does not waive negligence just normal assumption of risk for the activity, most waivers do not hold up or are overly broad. Edit: The Disney case is that for Disney's portion of the blames they wanted to arbitrate. Which doesn't mean they're off the hook but it means a process with a arbitrator assigns a award based on precedent. Which is often faster with less lawyers fees and slightly lower than non arbitration. It wasn't their restaurant but one that rented space from them and are mentioned in Disney content as a local option. They withdrew the request for arbitration because the optics looked bad.
