@Kirov reporting I probably agree with conan>Jimmy, but there is an insane difference between Fallon and Kimmel, I can't comment on you calling the unfunny coz that's a subjective opinion as comedy differs from person to person but the significant point to be noted is at least Kimmel is a good interviewer he asks proper questions, tackles difficult issues and is just generally very good at commanding a conversation, he'll let the guest do their joke or story but won't ever let the focus shift from the actual question and his transition from question to question or joke to question is always very remarkable. Fallon unfortunately still struggles with interviews and asking proper questions every show Fallon does is like he's doing it for the first time, he consistently makes mistakes, and while he gives a little more limelight to the guest, any sense of a proper conversation and interesting or apt questions is never something that can be expected. Fallon tries too hard to be funny, rarely succeeds all at the cost of actually talking with the guest, hence he can never be called a real talk show host (like he can but he'll never reach the likes of Letterman or Conan).

Yeah just thinking about it and those times I've done it on someone, specially my friends I feel terrible. Hearing them talkin about it makes me wanna reflect and never do it again.
Toast, as someone that’s currently been trying to hop on the health grind, I get where you’re coming from in terms of feeling unappealing. I think you shouldn’t be as hard on yourself, but it’s also required to do that when you really focus on yourself. I appreciated hearing about your experience so thank you for opening up to us.
Dude gonna tell you now, he’s not on a health grind. Health comes from sustainable and balanced behaviour towards physical and mental health. Toast is crash dieting and exercising to look good. That’s up to him, but not a model of health!!!!
I love how listening to this podcast feels like hanging out with 2 of your friends and they start getting all philosophical and you just sit and chill and listen
The set up looking clean. Simple it makes me focus into the discussion, adding a guest would be interesting maybe it might reach a 2Hour podcast. I like how Brodin have a mike of his own very nice. the podcast sure is something else hoping for more.
I like this trio, Michael and toast get along very well, and brodin kind of comes along to fill in the gaps in which they run out of things to say in the topic and it goes slightly quiet, Brodin just snappy in out comments, flows very nice !!!
I normally watch or listen to podcasts to feel sleepy. But dang. This guys is just so entertaining I didn't realize time past by. Toast and Michael combo. As expected, POG.
I missed this so friggin much yall have no idea, and I kinda like the format with fewer people, I think two or three per episode is the sweet spot, everyone can have more input, it's easier to talk about stuff where everyone has something to add and so on. Also great way to start the new run with Toast and Michael together
That whole conversation from 6:26-11:10 hits so hard. Here I think I’m an asshole as well. But all those points are so valid. And all those points I’ve thought about as well.
Hearing Toast talking about the Jimmy Kimmel lobby was heart-breaking, you could tell that it had a bigger impact on him than he lets other know. I think that event was one of the things that repelled him from the game and made him quit Among Us sooner. It is interesting how his decision to quit made others stop playing the game as well, the power he had to singlehandedly end the among us era. Hopefully, there are more exiting opportunities for him, he is a great content creator 🙌🏼
When he mentioned in a twitch talk stream a while back that he himself admitted didn’t look marketable and then he changed his overall look and presence, I immediately was aware that it is rooted to the Jimmy Fallon among us collab. It seem vindictive but i think he come out much better in the end. Cuz whether its looks or his personality, he too(really anyone with effort) can be both.

16:35 this is one of the biggest reason why I like Toast-Michael pair. Because I feel like they're both smart and love to talk/debate on something, but rarely able to, especially Michael. Like Lily is one of the most passive person and as expected, everytime Michael starts to talk something "serious", Lily will run/mute the mic. Which is fine, I don't blame her, but still disappointed.
@@Soundwves by your standard people shouldn't have money if they don't want to get robbed... Yet he/she still brings up the problem, what can I say anymore?
Finally the podcast is back! I hope Toast and Michael will be a permanent thing with occasional guest coz their chemistry have always been the thing that drew me to OTV.

It was really nice hearing two of you talk about death anxiety. It's one of the biggest never ending fear of mine and it's nice to hear others go through the same thoughts.
Mate u're not alone, last ten years from time to time, when i'm in bed and trying to sleep my mind wonders what's gonna happen after I die, and it always scares me shitless. Even them talking about it made me anxious. And i'm only 26.

There is a good ted talk called "What makes a good life?", and it goes into statistical analysis of people with the happiest lives. The people who had the most satisfaction with their lives were the ones who were most satisfied with their friendships. They also happened to have the longest lives :)

As a fish keeper, I appreciate Michael doing his research about fish keeping.
I have never heard anyone explain the ghosting thing as clearly as they did in this podcast. It’s so overwhelming, like at the moment I have maxed my notifications on all apps - except email, that’s never ending 😭
At some point, it just stops being ghosting and starts becoming you judt being lazy... I think you might be well past that point... Jk.... 😅😅
Yeah just thinking about it and those times I've done it on someone, specially my friends I feel terrible. Hearing them talkin about it makes me wanna reflect and never do it again.
@@b1ba593 Of course... thats really cringe to ghost people over laziness... jk ofc
I like this trio, Michael and toast get along very well, and brodin kind of comes along to fill in the gaps in which they run out of things to say in the topic and it goes slightly quiet, Brodin just snappy in out comments, flows very nice !!!
this has the potential to be the streaming/gaming content creator version of impaulsive. Massive potential here !
It sucks to hear Toast was going through such a rough time especially as a foundation to the among us boom. Excited to see what he comes up with next.
I've been listening to podcasts like crazy, THIS IS A BLESSING
Wdym? It’s the “first” podcast 🤨
@@emiljones3767 they didn’t say they were watching otv podcasts, just “podcasts.”
@@aurelixie AHHHH my bad, I totally missed that lol 😂
Any good podcasts for recommendations?
@@wannazman5228 I mean for like UA-cam podcasts I like The Yard from Ludwig
Can't believe they just started this podcast and have never done this before 200 times
honestly I love just the two of you guys chilling and talking, it was such a cozy and easy listen that i could listen for hours and be fine.
Great episode
So excited for this. Can’t wait for more!
Toast and Micheal always give off the best energy, their chemistry just works so well together
'Ned from Spider-man'
'Oh- the Hawaiian?'

'You better get hot fast Toast'

This is so fucking hilarious and underrated
I got to that part of the podcast as I found your comment
Jimmy Fallon...and yeah, he totally deserved to be on that lobby.
When he mentioned in a twitch talk stream a while back that he himself admitted didn’t look marketable and then he changed his overall look and presence, I immediately was aware that it is rooted to the Jimmy Fallon among us collab.
It seem vindictive but i think he come out much better in the end. Cuz whether its looks or his personality, he too(really anyone with effort) can be both.
what happened during that lobby?
@@sleepieste nothing interesting. Tho Rae, Sykkuno and Corpse got to be on tv.
@@sleepieste Hey, it was Jimmy Fallon’s lobby, as it was pointed above, and Corpse, Sykkuno and Valkyrae were invited to play with Jimmy, guys from Stranger Things and the Roots. Here is Toast’s take on this - ua-cam.com/video/HUTBDM_FNX0/v-deo.html
I don’t know why, but this podcast felt so natural it felt as if I was in a discord call with them and we were talking about random Saturday night thoughts. Love the new setup!
Got stuck on writing Toast and Michael's scene for the OTV Creative Challenge, and this gave me the inspiration I needed!
lol i missed this podcast. Michael talking about fish care is literally everyone getting into fish hobby.. i spend so much money on the hobby and its so complicated for them to just live lol

I love hearing michael and toast talking about serious topics its fun
Michael Reeves and Toast should host this podcast and have guest over.
yess!! and I REALLY would like to see different people on here. people like xqc to like minecraft streamers lol
It will probably be toast plus guest in this series..
@@Deepanshu2797 It just won't feel complete, in fact Michael would bring in the "Shock" aura to the podcast making it extremely unique if a podcast trio were to ever happen
lol it'll give Micheal another source of income.
@@maddyx3711 well i said the toast thing because i think he talked about it this way a while ago and wanting to do that
Going back to this after Michael’s new video makes so much more sense.
So much foreshadowing in this video for a Michael Reeves video almost six months later lmao
"Its anxiety inducing to response to ppl" - Michael
Totally relate to this right here and I would also force myself to zoom through all my procrastinated msgs at one go
1:07:05 "I thought it would be really funny, if I became MORE attractive, but made even more offensive jokes." I can't with this man, i s2g. I knew it deep down but its such a ridiculously hilarious spiteful action to make that I cannot help but respect him for it

super excited for the reboot- er i mean first ever season of the OTV POD! love you both and your commentary! ❤️
this single podcast episode have helped me comes to terms with a lot of stuff im dealling with right now, thank you toast and michael.
I really like the change from 4 to 2 people talking. The conversation flows way better. I really loved this episode. Can't wait for the next one!
The honest talking about anxiety ghosting people and family. Mad relatable. Love the 1 on 1 conversation instead.

This is honestly one of the best videos i've watched on youtube. First of all, it felt a bit therapeutic actually. Their conversations really made me reflect on my life, my future and my friends. Second of all, its not just therapeutic. It also has a lot of funny moments that made me laugh. Third of all, i feel like you also get a good insight to their relationship and how good it is. I really enjoyed it, and I also think it might have helped me personally. Thank you for being such great content creators. Sry for such a long comment
I could watch a Michael and Toast podcast every day!
Oh fk yeah, this is so relaxing and interesting at the same time
Best topics covered. Only these two could talk about such things without making each other feel awkward. I loved the dynamic. Great vod
y'all have a great back and forth, particularly liked the unplanned topics of discussion.
When two of smartest people in the OTV just talk about things is so entertaining to think about especially when you’re also thinking about the context. So glad it’s back.
Okay, straight up best format and cost. 2 of my favorite offline TV members in one room just talking for an hour and a half.
Honestly this podcast has made me appreciate Toast more, I’ve seen him talk a bit about how he thinks and having even more in just podcast format is really interesting
Honestly I just wanna chat to him about social presence and how it effects viewers and creators and all everything it’s just interesting and cool
as someone who keeps fish im so glad michaels cycling and researching about his goldfish properly, its funny hearing how he describes it from someone who does it as well
The thing we wanted, we needed, and we got: an hour and a half long convo between disguised toast and the mad lad Reeves.
This is great I never want an episode without Micheal and toast plz more
16:35 this is one of the biggest reason why I like Toast-Michael pair.
It's in her lives though. Her channel, her rules.
@@aleyha_ I'm literally put a preemptive defense and yet you skipped it
That’s true
@@nchls1343 Preemptive defenses don't work like that lmao, if you don't want people replying to you don't comment
I really liked this video, the content might have felt a little somber or melancholy but it felt authentic and real. Michael and Toast keep doin' what you're doin'.
I feel so bad toast had to feel that way about his appearance. Looks may bring success momentarily but at the end of the day, the person behind the face is more important.
Not when you're interacting with people. Looking good is like 80% of it.
looking good brings people in, personality makes them stay.
I agree, but since he’s in the streaming industry, I consider it a good long term investment overall.
He's staying healthy and looks good. So at this point, it's a win to me.
Brodin is totally gonna be the Jamie of this podcast. I can already hear it. "Brodin pull up that clip.."

I'm so happy Michael did so much research on fish before buying any. It just angers me so much when people see fish as decoration and doesn't have a clue about how to keep them healthy. I have goldfishes at over 10 years old and it just baffles me how some people kill their fish within a week
@@Thomas_W5 28 here, been having them for at least ten years as well. When I was really young, I think around 14 years old I had a sudden realization and called my mom having somewhat a panic attack. The comforting thought of "it's still a long way off" gets less and less useful as I grow older. But I've grown to accept it a little.
so glad that the podcasts are back! i would recommend to add the breaks in the video, marking each topic they talked at the moment
There is a good ted talk called "What makes a good life?", and it goes into statistical analysis of people with the happiest lives. The people who had the most satisfaction with their lives were the ones who were most satisfied with their friendships. They also happened to have the longest lives :)
Otv podcast putting Michael and Toast as their starting team. They know exactly what they're doing to get me to click

I literally have the same death anxiety as Toast, what gives me most fear is that it is reality and it is inevitable
I had that too. I read a lot about how others deal with that and it helped me a lot.
Yea it sucks,it’s an instinct humans have so I guess it connects us all :/
it could be Not inevitable if humanity just pooled resources and research to make immortality, if you think about it on a cellular level its really easy, we either need to be put in robot bodies or have our organs be replaced with superior robotic enhancements, you cant have a heart attack if your heart's really fucking good, you cant have liver failure if your liver is really good, etc
You can read on terror management theory. It talks about that.
