What's far worse than sunlight is water. It takes the life of essential oils from five to seven years and cuts it down to three to five days. As soon as I got a nebulizer it was clear that large difference between vaporizing essential oils only to the regular vaporizer that vaporize water with a few drops of essential oils. Just a heads up. Yes the units cost more and the more oil you go through. but the benefits are substantial

Hi Marieta. Inhave never used it for fruit flies in particular, the recipe does deter many bugs so I say give it a try and maybe come back to the comments and let us know if it worked well for you!

How much witch hazel?

HI Thanks for watching! Your mixture is just going to be 50% water and 50% witch hazel based on the size of your bottle. So if your bottle is 16 oz as mine was here, you would use 8 ounces of water and 8 ounces of witch hazel. If you use a smaller vessel such as 8 ounce bottle your water and witch hazel would be 4 oz each. A 4 ounce bottle would be 2 ounces of water and witch hazel. You would divide the drops of essential oil the same way. I hope you enjoy your spray!! Its smells so good to us but definitely not the bugs!!
