Want to ger rid of mosquitoes? I just posted a new video on using this simple and common spray to get rid of all mosquitoes using a trap ua-cam.com/video/CuWOxE1-ag8/v-deo.html
Nice job, I like how you actually did everything you were talking about, instead of talking through it and not actually showing how to do it.
That garlic spray definitely works to keep those bloodsuckers away, including vampires, lol 😂. Thanks Jag!
just adding my 2 cents: I add 40% windex with my spray mixture - at this point also using a little citronella - plus a few drops of dish soap. I actually spray the mosquitos with the stream, knock them down and smash them (for fun); but I think being covered with the soapy water will keep them from successfully breeding. Also, I keep a big wading pool size tub with a few inches of slightly soapy water where the mosquitos hang out. they drown in it... hundreds of them.
My husband and I were complaining tonight that it's officially that time of year when the mosquitos are so bad that the bug spray stops working. Definitely going to give these methods a try! And I have to say, that red door on your patio is absolutely amazing!
🛑 EDIT UPDATE 🛑 I just ran around my house looking for any oils I could find 🤣 I used lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary and my carrier oil is jojoba. I also added a bunch of peppermint lotion to it 🤣 I dipped a cotton ball in and just put it all over myself. I didn’t feel like dealing with cooking the garlic so I put a tiny bowl with a couple spoonfuls of minced garlic. I have the minced garlic in between me and the fan 🤣 I have always had issues with misquotes getting me. I can be in a group of 500 people and be the only one getting bit. So annoying. Hopefully my concoction works! I’ll find out shortly.
🛑 UPDATE: I sat outside for about an hour and a half and not a single bite!
Pro tip: pour the water into the mortar, then dump into the pan. You'll get more of the garlic juice.
SHORT version: DISH SOAP. Add all the witch hazel and oils you want (cedarbark, lemon lime lavender whatever) - ADD DISH SOAP and water too SHAKE IT UP and they DROP! And your room smells good.
One quick way to repel mosquitoes is to use incense sticks. I poke a bunch into the ground, probably about 8 sticks at a time, where no one can walk and step on them, and light them all at the same time. When those burn out, I put down more, just for as long as I'm outside with company or working in the garden. It's sort of like the smoker idea but you get to enjoy the lovely aroma of incense, and you can move them around with you.
I put all eleven secret herbs and spices into my lotion. Now only my neighbors bite me!
Thanks for all your tips. I use peppermint essential oil with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and spay myself before going out into the garden and I carry my bottle with me and spay as I go. It works great!
Hoe you made ?
Love, Love, Love! Thank you for posting this :)
Homemade mosquito lotion works great! Now to get a bee smoker... 🐝💨
Excellent ideas. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for the tips!
Looks like you’ve got the wildfire smoke haze too. We’re in Colorado surrounded by wildfires and smoke. Take care Jag!
Great and wonderful information which is very easy to do.
Great recommendations. I really like using garlic idea
This is the 3rd video of yours on mosquitoes I have watched! I love how you gently debunk all the nonsense on social media. :)
😄 loved the mosquito story 😄 thanks for all the ideas!
Thanks for the video and will try a few of these methods and totally organic!!
Wow! a lot of people must be using those smokers. Look at the smog in the background amongst the trees.
Very interesting thanks. I am using coconut outside shell
I added all of these essential oils to the lotion I made: lemongrass, eucalyptus, neem, peppermint, lavender, and rosemary. I don't get bit, even after sweating. And mosquitoes think I'm a snack lol.
Ok.. then don't go on vacation to Titusville Florida not far from the Everglades they got "hand size Mosquito's" & when they bite they suck enough blood for a Bartender to make a Bloody Mary🥴🦟🥃
@@susanspencer9538 lol
Susan spencer you rock!
@@susanspencer9538 Do u guys have GMO'd mosquitoes?
@@susanspencer9538 You are funny. 😆
Good information , thanks 😊
I’ll try the garlic one even though the home will smell but it’s better than being bitten every night.
I was really looking for this video.thankyou so much
Thanks for this informational ❤️❤️
Mosquitos have been the bane of my existence this summer especially while tending the garden. I tried to go organic but the recommendations I used said “Come & get me” instead of “Stay away. Lavender oil was the worst. I only am outside long enough to water and take care of the veggies. I’ll try your suggestions.
Hi Jag, I have been used eucalyptus for my difficult breathing and also used for my back or body aches. So what is your opinion?
Where do you get the smoker from? Its unique and beautiful
Good video how to prevent from mosquito 🦟, many mosquito in veggies garden
Where did you get your smoker device? That looks like it might be effective
Great ideas!!!
Great idea thank you
Cigar smoking works for me! 😂
Haha it works like magic. I had half of one on my hike and kept half for the walk back. A couple minutes after I put it down there was a swarm out of nowhere until I lit it up again
Thanks Jag!
Great info 👍
Thanks 😊
Thank you for your efforts sir!
It's mid-Oct and we're still seeing those bloody (lol) mosquitos in S. Canada! Ridiculous! Thanks for these ideas; they love my sweet blood!
I thought he was gonna spray himself with the garlic water lol. TY for sharing.
Hi there 😊 have you ever tried citronella products? You could use the large outdoor candles around your garden and it usually repels most pests meaning mosquitoes and flies etc. I hope this advice is ok and by no means I'm no expert on bugs it's just something my family have used over where I'm from in the summer months and it's worked. It's like they hate the scent of citronella and like you said as well eucalyptus. Hope you get rid of them because they are so annoying and the bites can be nasty too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you jag 💖
No citronella doesn't work I have 3 big candles and two plants, plus lavender and marigolds and I still got 37 bites. Lemongrass is way more powerful
@@mountaincreekhomestead I did say I wasn't an expert lol but if lemongrass is your go-to then that's great that it works for you but different things may work for others is all,no tea no shade here just trying to be nice 🤗
How long does the garlic spray and the smoke work against the mosquitoes? Thank you! I’m going to give these a try.
U uplode right vedio at right time
The smoker is cool!
My favorite is mixing the eucalyptus oil with the lotion.
Thanks dear 🙏
Great info 👍🏾👌🏾
🌼Garlic, I'm going to be craving manicotti and tiramisu for dessert.
Wow thank you !
Pure Genius!!!
Wow I never heard about the concentrated oil causing seizures.. Ihave Epilepsy since a child so I really need to look into this, Thanks for that information
Uhm, I won't use garlic spray around the doors & porch due to the strong odor. However, will use your other tips and I like the bee smoker the best ! 😊
Or you can drill holes in the bottom edge for venting(in the can)
Oh heck yeah - I'm getting eaten alive from mosquitos, even inside! I knew where to go to find the best solution--Jag! Thanks so much
Don't hate me because they don't bite me. Its crazy that 1 will land & then fly away. I take B vitamins & have heard that's one reason.😀great ideas Jaq.
I believe it!!! I used to be the most-attractive human to mosquitoes (for sucking my blood, of course). After taking vitamin B-complex for at least 6 months, i was free from mosquitoes and whatever bugs that stings you. Like you said, they may come around but did not attack me. Now that i’ve been off from supplements, i’m getting attacked by them again. I need to go back to Vitamin B-complex again. While waiting for it to kick in, i will be using one of Jag’s methods. Thanks, Jag!
@@TK-rt6il It took six months? Dang. That's a long time to take the extra b vitamins.
@@micheleb2558 I know, right? But it was worth it because it protected me for many many years.
Hi can I use the garlic spray direct to my lettuce aquaponics garden
Thanks Jag, love your Dad joke, haha.
These bugs have been going after me like gangbusters lol, I have scars from the bites. This is some good tips
Jag, you little pyro! LOL!
Thank you 🙏🏽
nice smoke tool 👍
Do y'all usually put on all your different Colognes before or after all those Bug Sprays, Lotions, Candle Smoke Soaking and Array of Repellents
Avon skin so soft bath oil. The way I do it is, in the shower, have washcloth sopping wet, pour a cap of SSS squeeze cloth so water isn't running. Wipe from neck down arms, then do legs. Dry off as usual. It's a really good protection, lasts a long time
Fact
I am living tamilnadu very useful message sir tq
Thank you so much
Hi Jag..thanks for the tips a question can we burn been leaves to repel mosquitoes.I come from a tropical country high humid...mornings and late evenings are common for these mosquito es.....TQ Eparam M,ysia

I could give you a hundred different things that would work against his ass !
Only the blood of Jesus!
Thanks for the tips.
Where can I buy the smoker please?
I got it in another comment. Thanks.
Strong garlic odor, no mosquitoes and 🧛vampire. Now you're safe 100% ,lol... Like your videos
Does the garlic stink to high heaven after a while when it starts to break down?
I’ve never had a problem with my eucalyptus oil directly on the bottom of my feet. I don’t wonder if it was diluted already?
I have heard lavender also repels mosquitos
I am going to try these idea, thank for the info
Can you please make some videos on fall plants?
😂Oh my gosh, he did not just make a dad joke. 🙌They were clapping for me.
Try growing species marigolds.
I was just looking at your test with the borax and soap and ? I cannot find it but found you here. The borax that you used is not the same as Borax - 2 different compounds. There is a mosquito catcher called Spartan that uses sugar and boric acid. I will do the same as you did in the other video but using boric acid not Boarx.
According to one Agriculture scientist in Tamilnadu,Nammalvar ,he said that dragon fly eat lots and lots of mosquitoes, but the pesticides we use today will kill all dragon flies
I see tons of dragonflies. Maybe if there are maximum large farms everywhere, but there are a surprising amount of them in areas which preserve wildlife areas

I'm the person that will get bitten 30 times at a bbq or park,( or yard) while no one else get bitten. S. M. H.
Check your blood group. You are possibly O+
Same. A+. My hubby is also A+ and he doesn't get bit nearly as much.
@@micheleb2558
They are attracted to dark colored clothing, sweet smells (I'm diabetic now & eventhough I thought it couldn't possibly get worse, it did after my diagnosis), I can't remember if they really love vanilla or hate it but it's one *or the other. AND they're more attracted to people who run hot. Which I am all 3, thanks God. ^ _ ^
They bite everyone. Those of us that itch is bc we are allergic to their saliva
@@candyluna2929 That's the same with fleas. Which I am also allergic to. :- /
Lemon balm works too.
Jag Singh sir please tell me how to grow apple tree and broccoli vegetables in our terrace garden.
Can you please write out the items you spoke about so we can copy and paste to remember... as I am a bit older then most on here I think, and I would love some natural ways to get rid of mosquitoes
Nice
Pic coils for me they work so well
just catch mosquitoes and spray vinegar in their eyes and let them go.
What is the receipe for the garlic?
Im trying the garlic method tonight
they have very well developed eye sight
What about your 2013 method of Beer and mouthwash?
Let me suggest something. I had some work I had to do without postponement in my yard outside. Mosquitoes were swarming all over my arms in the backs of my hands. I went in the house and took a quick look around the only thing I had that I could even try was a bottle of Febreze. So I sprayed my arms inside and outside top and bottom I mean and the backs of my hands until they were dripping wet with the Febreze. I went outside and was out there for about 2 hours I did not get bit even once on my hands or arms. The only thing I remember the bottle saying on the back as a warning was Don't Spray it in your face and don't get it in your eyes. I really believe this stuff repel the mosquitoes.
What scent ? Chemicals ?
@@beblissnow5947 well as far as ingredients it just says contains water, alcohol, odor eliminator derived from corn fragrance. And as far as fragrance I'm not sure the only thing it says on the front of the bottle is spring and renewal. The only warning I see on the back says Don't Spray it in your face or get it in your eyes. I hope that helps.
That reminds me. I heard that Bounce dryer sheets repel mosquitos. Stick a sheet in your belt, belt loop, or pocket. I hear it has to be that particular brand, but I'm not sure, and also not sure if they stopped using the chemicals that used to work. I hear golfers do this, too.
This might sound like a stupid question, but if we shouldn't inhale the oil aren't we still inhaling it even if it's mixed with a lotion?
Where to buy the smoker
Is neem oil good for bug bites and mosquito repellant
Does the smoke repel humans as well? What happens when you breathe the smoky air?
Is there an herb you can chew?
I can use 3-4 different oils and it doesn't work very long. I got 37 bites in 5 hours. I'm allergic, they make gardening dreadful. I used Eucalyptus, peppermint and lavender.
The garlic idea is great. It’s also great for keeping vampires away 🧛🏻♂️
😂
people too
What would you do if one happens to be a vampire themselves? (asking for a friend).
But I want my vampire here
Mosquitos are vampires
Thankuuu
I save rainwater in garbage cans for my garden but I always put 3-5 feeder goldfish in them. Some of my fish are 4-5 years old. It doesn't freeze terribly hard in winter so they just go into stasis. This catches the mosquitoes, and keeps them busy in the water there. My fish are like little piranhas.
We've had so much rain this year the mosquitoes are crazy. The worst part is they're so tiny it's hard to see them to swat them. They've been eating me up.
i agree with tommy i live in texas i cant to in to back yard or front yard for 10 minutes to water the plants i have been bitten all over my feet and hands i apply backing soda on the bites, the itching will go off in 10 minutes
