These are all so absolutely GORGEOUS! I am a beginner getting ready to start my 2nd project. The Mirabilia patterns really appeal to me. I am wondering, what count fabric would you recommend and did you use linen? I really like a tighter look, rather than seeing large cross stitches. My first project was an entire kit on 14 count Aida so I have no idea what to purchase for fabric and where to find it! I so wish I could find one of these with all materials included. Thanks! Thanks so much Jazzy. I generally use 28ct evenweave for my Miras - they recommend 32ct but 28ct gives more room for the beads to fit, especially when you have a lot of beads in a row. You can also use 14ct and stitch over 1 rather than over 2. It’s entirely up to you. I stitched Lady of the Mist on linen because that was recommended to me when I was kitting her up, but I’ve since learned that I prefer evenweave. Everyone is different so you made need to experiment until you find a fabric that works for you. Enjoy and happy stitching 😊🐞😊
I just found the unnamed and out of print lady in the yellow dress, on Ebay. The seller is sending it as a pdf (I hope) I had no idea it was a Mirabillia. Also ordered the moon mermaid pattern.

I am breathing a big sigh of relief that I don’t do beads, so Miras are, (for me at least). pieces to be admired that someone else such as yourself has beautifully brought to life. I do have some Mira angels waiting in the wings for sometime in the future though! lol. Dena from Half stitch cross stitch has just finished Sleeping Beauty and it will be very interesting how she chooses to frame her. She is festooned with beads, and Dena seems to have enjoyed creating this work. Have a great few weeks until next time 🌹xx:):)

JennuhXStitches thanks so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Both Mirabilias and Nora Corbett patterns are beautiful. Mirabilias tend to be bigger and have more detail than Nora Corbett patterns but Nora designs under both names. Both mainly have full crosses, some partial stitches and backstitching and most have beads and treasures. I hope you take the plunge one day but they’re really not that difficult. Happy stitching 😊
Can you still get the pattern and if so where from. I have done winter, spring and summer. Really enjoy your videos.

Wow! 40 minutes of eye candy. Very fun to see it all, thanks for taking the time to put it together. Do you have a plan for the Village collection? I imagine the buildings would look great on one giant piece of fabric. And do you have these all prioritized as far as order of stitching? I know you have some immediate plans to start a couple in the near future, but with such a large collection are you just deciding as you go?
LeahNoel aviatrixstitcher thanks Leah. I just decide as I go. My only plan at this stage is to try and live to be 1000 so that I can at least stitch half of them lol. No plans for the Village Collection at this stage, but I think I will prioritise those ones soon (maybe next year). Thanks for watching and happy stitching 😊
Living to be 1000 is a great plan. Haha! I think I'm bordering on having enough to work on up to retirement, so given a few more years I think I can collect enough to keep me busy throughout retirement.
Your collection is amazing! At the moment I only have 1 Nora (letters from Nora - H) and 1 Mira (The Fairy Moon). Need to expand my collection! Haha
