@@arizonaron5149 haha I knew I'd forget someone as I was going off memory. That's how loaded that bracket is. Just as stacked if you had a "all time champions at 'x' weight" bracket. Likely to be as tough if not tougher than Worlds.
Glad to see a lot of people still realize how good Spencer Lee truly is! All the sudden people wrote him off because he lost one match while battling injuries which could happen to anyone. But before that he was one of the most dominant forces wrestling has ever seen in both the NCAA and he was even better in freestyle! Before he lost in the semis he had not lost since his freshman year, a freshman year where he avenge his losses and still won the title. And whether people want to admit it or not there is always a lot more talent in the lighter weights, which makes what he did all more all the more impressive. The last thing any of these guys want is too run into is a Spencer Lee with something to Prove!
@@wrestlermike22 No, there is always less talent in the upper weights because many other sports draw from the small pool of larger athletes. Several ACLs ago. Still not sure how good those knees really are. He looks to still have it, but for the World Team's sake I really hope so. A healthy Lee is a boon for the team.
I think he looks good but not quite as quick and he's allowed guys to get to his legs. He's not really a chest wrap guy like Dake, so we'll see. He's as good as it gets par terre and as good as I've seen in transitioning to guts or laces from the TD action. He certainly can win it all and I'd put money on him in a best of 10 against anyone, but in any given match, a rusty mistake is all it takes. Fingers crossed

While I think he will win the tournament it would be cool to see him beat all the top guys like Gilman, Vito, and Fix to represent the team.
