I mean my car does the exact same thing but there is no engine light yet! XD but I want to address this right away. I will surely do this.

This was my first bmw I now have a e71 x5m a e90 6 speed 335i and a e30 lol these cars are just dumb on cold start cheap premium gas will make them have a terrible idle but in regards to vanos solenoids clean them whenever you get a chance they always gum up

Noted, I’m gonna do this tomorrow. And yes my engine light came up lmao. Same code and same issue. And youve a nice set of bmws man x5 is my favv

Sorry for the late reply i changed the o rings in the oil filter and the vanos solenoids

Mine got fixed replacing the camshaft position sensor and eventually del crankshaft
