Strawweight World Champion Britain Hart successfully defended her belt with a unanimous decision win over UK's challenger Melanie Shah at #BKFC51. She controlled the slugfest with sharp power shots: "I'm proud of myself for keeping up with someone who puts the pressure on and tries to drown you. I came out of the fight with a little more injury than I wanted. But hey, you can't help it. I knocked out a tooth, so she left a little imprint in my middle finger."

5 rounds, no ko -> she definitely had business to do in the ring. Sometime u win, sometime u loose. She was better this time but no shame for the opposent, particularly without KO.

She wasn't even a threat, couldn't defend herself, and ref is a total jackass for letting it go and go and go She may have left with her teeth had he stopped the fight sooner. This sport needs to be banned before someone gets seriously hurt or killed. Trust me it will happen at some point. This isn't fun to watch, it's not entertaining and needs to be shut down.

Although I understand your concern for the fighter's health, these fights cause swelling and a lot of cuts, which in turn LOOK really really bad. The reality of it is, the skin heals easily, inflammation goes away after some ice and some days of rest, and come a month, the fighters are in a much better shape.
Boxing, for example, on the other hand, has much larger gloves, so cuts are much less likely, same from hand fractures. BUT .... the area of impact is much greater, and the force of the punches causes much more bouncing on their brains, which lead to severe concussions and brain swelling, taking the lives of Boxers much more often than necessary. Look up the stats, how many have died in Bare knuckles or MMA? And how many in Boxing? Do the homework and you'll understand this one, as bad as it looks, it's not as bad. Ultimately, we condone people hitting each other to incapacitation in many many different sports, this one just happens to look absolutely brutal, but it isn't necessarily the most dangerous.
