You do not need to remove the mounting bracket.. just rotate the filter and slide it up out of the housing 👍🏾 also if you’re having trouble those crappy little clips that old the wiring I find that a 10mm spanner 🔧 fits perfectly and presses them in for you. Also fill your new filter up with some diesel! Or you will be cranking for ages running air through your fuel pump!
@@firstnamemike if you don’t fill the fuel filter up with fuel before fitting.. you will have a huge air bubble in the system and the car will crank for ages until it fills it up.
@@GG-eg6kn GG, Thanks for reply. I understand filling with fuel, but you specifically said diesel and that was my question. Why diesel and not gasoline. Thanks again for your advice.
Usually with petrol you don't need to worry about fuel filters as they are usually built into the tank, it's usually diesels that have a serviceable fuel filter.
It’s really not, it’s an easy job. Just in a stupid position.. you don’t have to take the mountain bracket it off just rotate the filter and it will slide up out the bracket

Great info
Why use diesel to put in fuel filter is it because it adds some sort of lubrication or something?

My model is petrol (gasoline), and it's not where you say it should be. Is it in the fuel tank?

this is another typer of engine. In the k9k 1.5 dci is located inthe other side of the engine. Is a disaster to remove it
Yep, checked mine today as it's on my todo list. It looks like an absolute nightmare job!
It is necessary to remove the windshield wipers, engine and casing, I confirm the long and meaningless work.
Too complicated!! Damn!!

Jesus Christ !!! All this to replace the gas filter !!! NOW I REALLY REGRET BUYING THIS JOKE (NOT JUKE) OF A CAR !!!!
thats not really hard some cars like the RX7 has it under the rear drivetrain. good luck with that in your driveway. LOL
It’s actually not a lot.. she gave her self work by removing the mounting bracket.. not necessary the filter can rotate and slide up out the bracket.
Before buying a car it is always necessary to look at how it is made to understand the maintenance costs.
Juke's are junk.
No they are not....... 8 trouble free years with mine, love it
