These watts are top notch. Ive also seen Phil Gaimon do these wkg. Remember these riders have team mates doing all the work and feeding them sugar and water all day so they are fresh AF at the start of the climb.
I love this era. Remember Rein Taramae putting in a number of very impressive performances and was expecting him to become a top gc contender. He’s still a pro but pretty much packfill🤷♂️ also I believe from the same country Tanel Kangert put some incredible rides in that made you think he’d be a star.

Je suis cycliste amateur et je tiens plus de 650w sur 1 minutes, plus de 360 sur 16m et 1600w max donc les watts de froom et de wiggins ne sont pas anormal comme vous le dites ils sont juste très entrainés....
Just wondering where the data comes from? I don't imagine they would publish actual data collected on the bike? Is it estimated somehow from the video?
Rewatching this what a crazy weird ride by radioshack Nissan trek it was like everyone for himself luckily gallopin was the only one clever enough to help his leader

When was Wiggins ‘walking up climbs’? He’s a multiple times Olympic gold medalist, one of the best persuiters and time trialists ever. When he focused on GC he had the success you’d expect.
