Max, I started watching you several years ago and you inspired me to build a flight simulator. I'm going on 83 but you showed me what it means to be a man who cares - about everything. Attention to detail. ANC. Dan
83? Aren't you a bit old to be playing computer games All credit to you though, good for you if that's what you want to do
@@jb-nn8sk are you ageist? Never too old or young for anything! I believe I just saw someone on the msfs forums say they just turned 89! Isn’t that crazy and he’s an active simmer. :)
@@east4183 Yes, I am ageist, completely. Someone of his age should be in a nursing home with a nice woollen blanket over his lap, a mug of tepid cocoa in hand (not too hot in case he spills it over him), and gently drifting off to sleep. You're welcome.
@@east4183 What is an active simmer? Active sinner I know, but simmer?
Great job!!!
Always a pleasure to get to ride along with you Max! Those views over the Rocky mountains never disappoint for sure. I hope you and your family are doing well. Thanks for bringing me along with you and see you in the next video brother.
I absolutely love the mindset of being ahead of the airplane and not letting the airplane fully you. Knowing and thinking ahead of your next few moves is a great mindset for life too! Even if the fastest thing I’m piloting is a minivan nowadays.
Always great to see your video and occupy the right seat Max. You are just a really nice guy who puts out a great video that is both informative and visually impressive. Again, thank you for sharing your travels.
Max and Greg are so enjoyable to fly with. Though Greg is Missing for some time now? Thanks for posting another Max!
Another great video, thanks Max. Nice to see you at OSH last week. That much snow in July!
Thank you Captain Max and enjoyed being a person in another seat as always, nice smooth landing too!
There is simply no substitute for the joy of flight! Kudos for your piloting and video production skills! Both are quite impressive and enjoyable.
Total Pro...in the left seat and on the camera. I missed the winds for landing so I was scratching my head on the touchdown. Max is the King of greasers. I'm thinking Ground effect? The displaced threshold? It's Cali so maybe a thermal. Nope...just "sporty". Thanks for clearing that up for those of us that aren't great at paying attention.
Prob last May. Lol. Our crazy weather state. Thx for the visit Max
Again a Great video Cookie Max 🍪..or is it now Milk shake Max. ..lol..was alittle sporty coming in ..could tell by you not saying greased it....Hope Mom and family are doing well..Always look forward to seeing your videos Max..Take Care Max....🙏
Looking SO Good, Max. Thanks for the hop!!!
When in the world was this....snow on the ramp in Denver on July 7th....and no shorts!?! Lol...super smooth greased landing Max!
I suspect this flight actually took place on or around May 22, the day after Denver received 4-6" of snow and some areas in the mountains got two feet. It is not uncommon for most high-level UA-camrs to take a few weeks to edit and release new material.
Snowy Colorado looks so pretty from the air. You have an awesome job!! Thanks for sharing.
Hey Max, it’s always good to see your videos, I don’t know if you will respond to this message but I will leave it anyway, you are such an inspiration for future’s pilots. I always wanted to be a pilot but life got in my way and my dream did not come true, but just by looking at these videos and see others become pilots makes me happy. Sometimes we don’t become what we dream to but at least seeing these videos it’s a full of joy. Keep them coming Max, and always blessings to you and your family.
Another awesome vicarious adventure! Exceptionally well done! As always, safe travels. God’s speed!
Alleluia.... you're back!!!!
Another awesome flight. I’m still bugging 2RF to come to DAY to get a tour of Hartzell Propeller. 👍🏻👍🏻. Fly safe Sir.
Excellent job as usual Max. Clear skies and favorable winds.
What a gorgeous day to fly! G’day from Australia 🇦🇺
Made my day, Max. Very enjoyable. Thanks. Rob
Love your videos. Big fan. Wish you would produce them more frequently.
Go Max ! Another great flight ! Safe travels ! Best, Uncle Rudy
Ur mental health and positivity is impeccable
In my next life, I want to be you. Very envious . I live on Meadow Lake airport, just east of Colorado Spring if you ever want to visit. It would be nice if you gave more background info on how you can afford to fly a jet and what you do at the places you goto. Thanks Mike
Thanks for the ride as always max . Top notch 👍👍 from Brisbane.
Awesome , you tick all the boxes as a great pilot. Thanks for your video's.
welcome to Camarillo; hopefully you had a chance to stop by the Waypoint Cafe; i can see the runway across the freeway from my backyard.
Hey! A new video, nice! Totally addicted to your videos.
Hey Max, as usual, learning a lot from your radio work…I am a lot more confident now…keep up the great vids…most enjoyable. 4Jan23 @ 12.44pm eastern
Max, another great one! Thank you! When will you be near Stewart ? Would love to shake your hand and say thank you! Of course, if your hungry, I got lunch! Thank you again!
Really enjoy your videos. Thank you. You are inspiring me to become a pilot.
Thanks for the ride! Stay safe my friend.
Another great video Max. Lot's going on in that one. Thanks for sharing!!
Just flew into CMA a couple weeks ago and got a milkshake as well. Sporty as hell
Happy Thursday! CCCC YA
Post more videos on here Max! Can’t get enough!
This is no negative when you have someone with you but I love these solo flights. It really gives us the viewer the impression we are your copilot and feels more personal. I know most of your attention needs to be with someone with you and that is not a knock of that but when you do these and make it feel personal to use, t me it's magic that I think no other Pilot UA-camr can recreate. You just make us the center of attention while not avoiding your piloting responsibilities. That to me is magic no one else possesses.
Smooooth! Thanks again, Max.
i did my first cross country solo to camarillo! Great landing!
Welcome back brother! Missed your videos!
nice flight thank you!
That should be Citation Max merchandise
"IT'S A LITTLE SPORTY"
Of the four aircraft that you have had, which one do you have the most flight time? And which one has proven the most enjoyable?
he will never answer you.... He's to good for that!
@@doesntmatter3068 that’s a rude way to go about it but I agree he most likely won’t respond. To the first commenter I’m sure you could see records or look at the amount of vids he has in every aircraft and guess from the content what he enjoys most.
@@doesntmatter3068 you sound hurt. Who cares if he doesn't answer 🙄. Just enjoy the video. He does answer questions on Instagram. Go follow him there. I do.
@@OutlawTrucker
WHY would I be "hurt" ?
Why have a channel if your not going to communicate with your viewers?
@@doesntmatter3068 a lot of people have channels & don't communicate with their viewers. Like I said. Follow him on Instagram. He answers people on there.
Nice day for you. Even with sporty approach 😎.
Another Awesome Video!!!! As usual!!! So When Is Pilot Annabelle going to be in the right seat of either plane???? Wishing you and your mom the best on your charities!!!! You Both Are AWESOME!!!!
If I had the wallet value for sure I would be thrilled for you to work for me. Absolutely on point impressive, ahead and always working. Fabulous pilot.
I live about 7 mile east of runway 26. At 24:25 I can see my neighborhood out of the left front windshield. lol
Thanks for the ride today it was awesome as usual
Max, one thing you can always count on, you do things by the book. Keeping it consistent, makes it safe. Is Camarillo the airport that Stevie T hangers her Bonanza?
Yes
Camarillo is in my flying area that's so cool never thought you would be in my neck of the woods you might run into capcarl1 there a nd piper they fly in there alot great video again greetings from the left coast here!!!!!
So informative and always a joy to fly with you. If you ever fly into Parkersburg WV please drop me a note. Would love to meet you.
For a number of years my wife's Corvette license plate was "MY CZI". Look up location identifier CZI. Best wishes
So happy with every upload.
Quite stunned over how much snow you had in Denver, this late in summer (live up north in Sweden but no huge fan of snow, ice nor cold)
My guess is that this flight was recorded a couple of months ago. I wish he put them out more frequently but he's a busy guy. CM junkies like me can barely stand it. Haha!
Hey Max great flight as always! And I've never seen a displaced threshold that long. Was it a former USAF base or someting? Just curious. Thanks, jim
Love your flights!
great video as usual; i'm not a pilot, but i love to fly. I'm always amazed at the discipline that pilots have when preparing for their flights. Great idea - get a milkshake! What flavor? :)
Awesome 😎 👍
Awesome!
cant wait to see the airplane in oshkosh
Hey! Great channel, always fascinated watching your vids as an ex-controller here in the UK (btw, would be interested to know if you've ever flown in to EGGW). I honestly think most these vids would provide amazing insight as part of controller training, regardless of where in the world people are operating.
On subject of regional differences, what always blows my mind listening to US ATC comms (aside from the lack of/relaxed attitude to standard phraseology, thats a debate for another day...) is observing aircraft being "cleared to land" whilst the runway is not necessarily dedicated/protected for your sole 'use'. Is such a big difference from other, more ICAO 'following', parts of the world. Especially interesting given recent events over in Tokyo, whereby the whole premise of you guys operating that way is that its deemed acceptable for ATC to hand off responsibility to you/the pilots to decide if 'its safe to land'. I bring it up because, given the pilots of the A350 in said incident couldn't see another aircraft lined up, I wonder if that is really suitable!? But then again, the people up there in the tower employed to keep watch couldn't see it either, so I understand I can in no way claim 'the normal way' of operating to be any 'safer'. I guess it just proves we (as humans) need all the help we can get from automated systems, like runway incursion alarms etc.
The reason I'm bringing that up for this video is because I had my mind FURTHER blown by the fact, whilst you were still on your landing roll, an aircraft was "cleared for take off" (i.e. the controller didnt wait to ensure you had vacated the runway). I understand controllers can play hard and fast with that kinda thing at busy airports over in this part of the world, i.e. initiating take off clearance calls to aircraft whilst the vacation of previous landing traffic is imminent, but this is a WHOLE different level.
Anyway, love the vids, thanks for providing them for us. You have landed another very keen follower in me (and if you ever want a Brit with ATC expertise as a passenger, hit me up 😂 ).
What days are you going to be at EAA, would be cool to meet you
what a changeable weather 😄
Cool beans.
Lovely
I guess I pulled out before you and did not realize that back then. Haha! Do you have the records of the radio calls / noticed a heavy German accent?
Hey Max'y. Woo Hoo. Been sweating on a new vid.
MAX! You are so great - love the vids. When was the last time you had to go around unexpectedly?
At what altitude can you maintain 250KIAS and still be able to climb in the CJ3+ ?
Colorado does what ever Colorado wants to do, weather anyway. Snow in may ?, no problem
Greased it!
You might have answered this already but why do call out 70 knots? Is it just for check that both show the same value?
I'll fly rightseat with you . Just swing by PTK. I'M ready to go
Leave Colorado in Hoodie - Arrive in SoCal in Shorts 😎
That was fun!
1:22 - What's that white stuff on the tarmac? Haven't seen that in a while...
Fun as always.
Rest in Piece Tac Air
I wish the videos were longer, I love to see the full Top of climb, sure you can Fast forward the cruise, but the full decent is always nice. but hey its all good. thanks. be cool to know how much space it takes to record all this video? on the ssd cards. just curious about the camera stuff. thanks. living the rich life thru you..lol
New to your channel and love your content, this might be a stupid question but isn't somewhat dangerous to be flying solo all the time ie- having a medical emergency?
In-N-Out milkshake.
hey max gotta a question, do you personally own the citation you fly?
Love the videos!!
Nice
Have you eaten at Perfect Landing at APA?
Enjoying the videos, however it would be nice if you could turn down the volume for the ATC it's hard to understand what you are saying when you're talking over each other!!!!
Most of the time the right seat is empty. How can I fly with you.
OK, so at 28:05 ATC clears a Cessna for takeoff on R26 while you are still on R26 some distance from clearing yourself. Was hearing that a bit of a concern to you?
You make it look sooooooo damn easy! LOl
Hey Max, did u pickup any of those delicious cookies at centenial?:)
Nice flight, do you just fly around all the time or do you transport passengers or have a courier service?
How do you steer the nose wheel when you're taxiing? Do you use the pedals?
What model citation is this plane?
How was the milkshake?
TY,,,,,,WOW very interesting super kool ,1st class great info.,, AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot ,keep up the great work.
Can you say float???😁😁
You forgot to say “greased it.”
I’d love to be your co pilot on a flight.
hay Max dud you stop vlogging man, havn't seen a new vid from you in a while, what's up man?.
