So the defense didnt know if he was going to try or not and they just stopped caring and laid him out a few times. Normally kickers get passes for the most part as long as they stay as the last line of defense
I was at the WVU-Min bowl game from the first highlight, and I had seats directly behind that end zone. The most hilarious part of that was when the Gophers first lined up with Faalele in the backfield...the entire WVU defense panicked and half of them were frantically calling for a timeout. The Gophers stayed in that formation and scored the TD shown.
