It's maybe not as much fun as the battle frontier, but the very concept of being the champions other trainers try to beat is so amazing!
machina188 if I’m the Champion I shouldn’t have to re-beat each Elite 4 member before facing a challenger. If you think taking away facing the Elite 4 each time is taking away content then whatever they could easily make it where you can face the Elite 4 at their houses or at a special place if you want to keep rematching them.
They could had also made it where if you lose then you're not the champion anymore. Then you have to beat the elite four again and who ever you lost too

If you haven't already got em all already, my favorite Pokemon games are Gold and silver, and HG/SS are not only the best Pokemon remakes but the best remade games ever made. It's like Alolan Surfing (less encounter rate) mixed with Fly, and you can go anywhere. Then I'd suggest whichever you feel looks the most fun, as each Pokemon game is equally as good after that, they all have positives and negatives that make the games shine decades later.

Platinum is just such an overall amazing package. Not just for Pokemon but for JRPG games in general. I'm so happy I bought platinum with a limited edition ds.
Same! I never got into the Battle Frontier because I kept getting stuck inside Victory Road in Platainum. 😂(Definitely the toughest Pokemon experience I've had to date)
I believe that maybe at the end of Victory road there should be tournaments to see who gets to challenge the elite four and such, and maybe if you get beaten during the tournament you get to see how far the winner of the tournament got, and of course they would never beat the champion
Its obvious, I hit the like button even without watching the video till the end. Because I knew it was definitely gonna be HG/SS Kanto re-visit. Battle Frontier >>>>> Battle Tree. Hoenn Battle Frontier >Sinnoh Battle Frontier
As a kid I remember feeling like the Battle Frontier and gym leader rematch battles were the best things ever! And I can’t get over my excitement when I traveled to Kanto for the first time as a legit 10 year old! When I played HeartGold for the first time I didn’t know it was a remake, so getting to Kanto was literally a complete surprise like someone who played the original Gold & Silver! It was mind blowing!
I gotta say, nothing has ever lived up to the fun I had in the Emerald battle frontier. It was just so cool, the music was fantastic, and the facilities were not just creative but imposing. Plus, rather than having a simple multi-battle system, you had an actual protege who looked up to you and improved based on your advice. Gen 4 battle frontier was pretty good, but the Hoenn frontier was a class of its own. If only ORAS had included it...it’s a real shame it didn’t, because you didn’t have the improved breeding mechanics to fully equip your team for the challenge. The Hoenn battle frontier was truly ahead of its time, and I can only hope it is faithfully remade at some point in the future.
To be honest, the Hoenn battle frontier was what first introduced me to competitive Pokémon. I improved so much as a player just so I could level the playing field.
Black 2 and White 2 are my favorite Pokémon games, Period! Why? The post game! It had new areas and Pokémon World Tournament. Because Sinnoh and Unova have post game areas they are the reasons why Sinnoh and Unova are my favorite Pokémon regions
Platinum and HG SS Battle Frontier are my favourite Post-Game features, I really enjoyed the Battle Hall, Factory and the Arcade. The PWT is also amazing and is my second favourite, I just chose Battle Frontier over it because of the variety of battle modes.
King Ping Bell the PWT also has rental masters, mix masters, and type experts. Rentals and Mix masters are not viewable until you beat the Driftvail Tournament version of it. The PWT also allows Triple and Rotation alongside with singles and doubles but gives more BP and they are optional for every tournament. 1) I don’t need to explain rentals. 2) Mix masters is where you and your opponent swaps out 1/3 or 1/4 of your party before battling to battle against each other with each others Pokémon. 3) Triples is a max team 3 on 3 battle. It requires a completely new strategy as battles are now more chaotic. This is also the hard mode. 4) Rotation relies on predictable strategies.
Yeah I really like Rotation, but yeah I forgot about the Mixed modes, another mode I hope GameFreak brings back eventually is the Wonder Launcher mechanic, I know a lot of people didn't like it but I personally enjoyed it. @@ct2xperience749
Am I the only one who considers the delta episode and team rr as an epilogue since they are hinted after the credits and returning you to the main screen and basically the post game starts after you complete them
Now you really made me go through all the post game contend. I never bothered doing it much for whatever reason, but I am currently replaying every Pokemon game from the beginning (gen 1) and now I am excited to tackle the post game. Currently doing the island tasks in leaf green but after that I am going to play Emeral and already can't wait for the Battle Frontier
high hopes for more regions on pokemon switch, hopefully they take their time to create this game, it should look and be amazing due to how amazing the switch is compared to the mobile pokemon games on 3ds and stuff
I really wish we went back to Kalos during the post game of USUM. That on top of Rainbow Rocket would have easily made it the best post game and probably the best Pokémon game as well.

I would love to be able to go to another region in any of the main games like you could in HG SS (the same way I wish we could have pokemon walk with us -_-). Even in side games such as the Pokemon Ranger games, I constantly wish that I could go back and visit old regions. It's just such a nice idea to see old regions that have so much nostalgia in a new light and through a new set of eyes.
1. Stronger Elite 4. 2. Battle facilities. 3. Side quests. 4. Legendaries, unaccesible before you beat the League. 5. Areas, unaccesible before you beat the League. 2:18 It is avaiable before you beat the League.
I was too young to really understand and do well in the Battle frontier, but I really wanna try it now. Also the Rainbow Rocket felt more tedious and I feel like they didn't have the right Pokemon half the time. In my opinion Ghetsis should've had Kyurem, Cyrus should've had Giratina and I know he never had him but Lysander should've had Zygarde. Also it wasn't even a challenge really. They came from places where you failed and they won so beating them so easily felt underwhelming.
the rainbow rocket episode wasn't really all that good. all you did was fight the villains of past games in a gauntlet match (only after fighting a shit load of grunts, which is boring) only for the villain to monologue about them achieving their respective dream in their world, intending on doing the same in alola, only to get blown back and never appear after that. what made no sense is that they weren't even an actual team. it was clear that they had their own agendas, which completely obliterates any form of concept for "team". ghetsis wishing to manipulate giovanni made sense sort of, but the rest had far too many clashing ideals to even make this seem like they were even on the same side in the first place. cool battles and remixed music, but from a plot standpoint, its garbage, and the delta episode blows it away. at least the rainbow rocket stuff brought to life the multiverse stuff zinnia mentioned. to make matters worse, they didn't even do anything. they took over aether for like an hour, and then did nothing else. its blatant fan service done wrong.
i prefer a post game that adds a new chapter to the story then a post game that opens a place where you can battle whenever you want. usum have both of them. do you prefer catching a few legendary pokemon as a post game? well, in usum you can catch *ALL* of them. usum have the best post game of all time.
Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4 and Gen 5 are my favorite because of the post game. Mostly because of the Battle Frontier, Pokemon World Tournament and rematching Gym Leaders and Elite 4. Reason I didn't include Sun and Moon is because I haven't beaten it yet
When I first saw Colress, my favorite chatacter from the first Black and White 2, Pokémon games I ever played when I was 5, In Alola, it was like a shiny reaction on steroids.
Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon also has a postgame area to explore, You can explore half of Poni Island and Team Rainbow Rocket episode and traveling through the Ultra Space. In My opinion, Pokémon Sun and Moon and especially Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has the most post side quests for You to do.
Also, ORAS was the last games since we don't have any gym leaders this generation, in which you could have a rematch with Wallace in the delta episode.
As much as I like the Battle Tree, yeah I do agree with you on them bringing back some more of the former trainers. I mean right now Ultra Sun and Moon are the last games for the 3DS and I felt it would've been cool if they bought the World Tournament mechanic from BW2 for the Battle Royale. I mean how cool would it be to hear their old themes when challenging the previous Gym Leaders and Champions and even when they have their Z-Moves. Oh well...I guess we might see that for the upcoming Pokémon Stars for Nintendo Switch possibly. I 100% agree with the Johto post-game content as well. That is the best outta all of them
Johto is my favorite due to my soul silver run through i loved johto its my favorite region but then returning to kanto and chasing suicune and getting 8 more badges just to top it off and having to battle red it was just so satisfying and there were so many events in that game i had to do them all (silver was my first pokemon game as a kid but the remakes made it even better)
I have very fond memories of Soul Silvers postgame, I’m playing Pokémon platinum on my iPhone rn and I never finished the post game on my ds when I was a kid so yeeeeee I really wish they make a stable soul silver rom
I still have the vgc 2012 finalists tournament in my White 2. I can battle Wolfe and Rizzo in a Pokémon game! Also, glad to see you like the RR episode!
I always wonder why people treat Jhoto like have "doble content" with the Kanto region, i mean, it was awesome, but is not like how people make you think it is. The first time i play Pokemon Silver it take me like 40hr to pass the main story, but Kanto, i beat it in like 4-5hr. In a personal manner, i think in Gold and Silver like an expansion of Red and Blue.
It’d be awesome if Sword and Shield gave you access to more than one save slot, so you can have a slot for post-game that you can replay even if you’ve completed it on another slot.
Whqts also cool in the Platinum Battle Cafe is that its not just Gym leaders you get to battle but also ur past traveling companions like cheryl and riley
gen 1. only catching mewtwo gabage gen 2, kanto was great gen 3. battle frontier was awesome kanto remakes. sevii islands was a huge upgrade gen 4. amazing expetioally platnium jhoto remake. twice as good as gen 2 gen 5. pretty bland sequil. solid pwt made it great gen 6. way to short very boring oras. amazing lots of legends lots of events, contest and delta episode was awesome
I think the generation 8 region should be based off England or the whole of the UK but i think just England would be better and it has such rich history and great cities. I also think you should be able to travel to Kalos in the post game seen as England and france are next to each other.

Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon:Are We a joke to You ?
Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon also has a postgame area to explore, You can explore eastern Poni Island and Team Rainbow Rocket episode and traveling through the Ultra Space. In My opinion, Pokémon Sun and Moon and especially Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has the most post side quests for You to do.
Platinum is just such an overall amazing package. Not just for Pokemon but for JRPG games in general. I'm so happy I bought platinum with a limited edition ds.
I've always felt so dumb when people talk about the Battle Frontier because I started playing Pokemon with Black 2.
Same! I never got into the Battle Frontier because I kept getting stuck inside Victory Road in Platainum. 😂(Definitely the toughest Pokemon experience I've had to date)
Same the PWT is also my favorite battle facility. I used to battle there all the time when I had the game.
I believe that maybe at the end of Victory road there should be tournaments to see who gets to challenge the elite four and such, and maybe if you get beaten during the tournament you get to see how far the winner of the tournament got, and of course they would never beat the champion
technically ultra warp ride isn’t a postgame feature, you can access it before the pokemon league but love the list otherwise👍
Pokémon Black and White post game is good.
You got I sick intro bro I repeat it more than 10 times
POKÉMON WORLD TOURNAMENT! 🖤
Keep the AWESOME STUFF COMING,Zac💓
Top 3
- Pokémon World Tournament
- Pokémon World Tournament
- Pokémon World Tournament
Honorable mentions
- Pokémon World Tournament
THEY CANNOT BE THE SAME THING!
Great stuff u finally made a video thank u
Black 2 and White 2 are my favorite Pokémon games, Period! Why? The post game! It had new areas and Pokémon World Tournament. Because Sinnoh and Unova have post game areas they are the reasons why Sinnoh and Unova are my favorite Pokémon regions
Oh the feeling after you finished Elite Four in Pokemon Crystal and you get access to Kanto region. It was awesome.
Aw man I loved rematching gym leaders, it was so fun.
Am I the only one who considers the delta episode and team rr as an epilogue since they are hinted after the credits and returning you to the main screen and basically the post game starts after you complete them
Wow, I found a great UA-cam channel
I have a video request: top 10 favorite episodes of the pokemon anime and top 10 hated episodes of the pokemon anime
Ah yes! The Black 2 and White 2 sequels. I remember them.
This is a really well made and cool video! Good work!
Battle Frontier and the PWT!!!
Number 4 was a great idea I agree with completely
high hopes for more regions on pokemon switch, hopefully they take their time to create this game, it should look and be amazing due to how amazing the switch is compared to the mobile pokemon games on 3ds and stuff
I really wish we went back to Kalos during the post game of USUM. That on top of Rainbow Rocket would have easily made it the best post game and probably the best Pokémon game as well.
He said Now Modern Pokémon Games only have one new Areas to visit in the postgame.
Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon:Are We a joke to You ?

I would love to be able to go to another region in any of the main games like you could in HG SS (the same way I wish we could have pokemon walk with us -_-). Even in side games such as the Pokemon Ranger games, I constantly wish that I could go back and visit old regions. It's just such a nice idea to see old regions that have so much nostalgia in a new light and through a new set of eyes.
A strong comeback
1. Stronger Elite 4.
2. Battle facilities.
3. Side quests.
4. Legendaries, unaccesible before you beat the League.
5. Areas, unaccesible before you beat the League.
2:18 It is avaiable before you beat the League.
THERE IS NO I IN UNACCESSABLE!
I never played BW, but I did play BW2 so traveling the other side was really exciting.
New intro. LOVE IT
Nice zac nice, couldn't help but laugh with your little rant on the ninth entry.
100% agree with number 1! Let’s go is lacking a post game all together.
the rainbow rocket episode wasn't really all that good. all you did was fight the villains of past games in a gauntlet match (only after fighting a shit load of grunts, which is boring) only for the villain to monologue about them achieving their respective dream in their world, intending on doing the same in alola, only to get blown back and never appear after that. what made no sense is that they weren't even an actual team. it was clear that they had their own agendas, which completely obliterates any form of concept for "team". ghetsis wishing to manipulate giovanni made sense sort of, but the rest had far too many clashing ideals to even make this seem like they were even on the same side in the first place. cool battles and remixed music, but from a plot standpoint, its garbage, and the delta episode blows it away. at least the rainbow rocket stuff brought to life the multiverse stuff zinnia mentioned. to make matters worse, they didn't even do anything. they took over aether for like an hour, and then did nothing else. its blatant fan service done wrong.
i prefer a post game that adds a new chapter to the story then a post game that opens a place where you can battle whenever you want. usum have both of them. do you prefer catching a few legendary pokemon as a post game? well, in usum you can catch *ALL* of them. usum have the best post game of all time.
Rocket Grunts have Pokémon with moveset that they don't learn with leveling. No Grunt use Pokémon like that.
Anyone else feeling very dissapointed leaders of the Battle Tree arent Green(Leaf), Red and Blue?
Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4 and Gen 5 are my favorite because of the post game. Mostly because of the Battle Frontier, Pokemon World Tournament and rematching Gym Leaders and Elite 4. Reason I didn't include Sun and Moon is because I haven't beaten it yet
When I first saw Colress, my favorite chatacter from the first Black and White 2, Pokémon games I ever played when I was 5, In Alola, it was like a shiny reaction on steroids.
I am surprised with Sevii Islands not being here
Omg I love the new intro
I looove gen 5
Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon also has a postgame area to explore, You can explore half of Poni Island and Team Rainbow Rocket episode and traveling through the Ultra Space. In My opinion, Pokémon Sun and Moon and especially Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has the most post side quests for You to do.
damn this was intresting. i defo gotta agree with no 3 and no1. i really like your new avatar and animated backgound!
Going back to Kanto was the greatest post game content from any game ever. Period.
Zac I love your videos post more awesome stuff bro!👏🏻😃
Also, ORAS was the last games since we don't have any gym leaders this generation, in which you could have a rematch with Wallace in the delta episode.
Yea got to love the new intro
This was a great video keep up the good work!
Awesome vid man!
That is the best outta all of them
God... I love Platinum. Cynthia is my waifu.
I have very fond memories of Soul Silvers postgame, I’m playing Pokémon platinum on my iPhone rn and I never finished the post game on my ds when I was a kid so yeeeeee
I really wish they make a stable soul silver rom
I still have the vgc 2012 finalists tournament in my White 2. I can battle Wolfe and Rizzo in a Pokémon game!
Also, glad to see you like the RR episode!
Gen 5 pwt champions and there have there themes ❤
I always wonder why people treat Jhoto like have "doble content" with the Kanto region, i mean, it was awesome, but is not like how people make you think it is. The first time i play Pokemon Silver it take me like 40hr to pass the main story, but Kanto, i beat it in like 4-5hr. In a personal manner, i think in Gold and Silver like an expansion of Red and Blue.
Awesome list
Great video man keep them up!
Thanks!
HG and SS had the best post game hands down. It was fucking unparalleled for me
Visiting any other region through the newer games is a MAJOR plus imo; i.e USUM via Kanto, Sinnoh, Johto, Hoenn, Kalos
It's really worth it the grind out your Pokemon to battle red
Can't beat HG and SS. A whole region to explore, Battle Frontier, tons of legendaries, some returning characters, there's a ton here!
If an England-based region was to come out, we would be able to revisit Kalos via a Pokémon version of the Euro Tunnel.
They need to make a game where you start in Kanto and end in Alola. Develop a new level system or you have to free some Pokémon
THE MOTION CONTROLS ARE GOOD!!!
THE Q IN WHAT'S IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN A!
@@Amelia4111 That is the Question
Thank you for the gym leader rematches, Pokemon Let's Go ^^
Vivalions theme in oras is amazing too
gen 1. only catching mewtwo gabage
gen 2, kanto was great
gen 3. battle frontier was awesome
kanto remakes. sevii islands was a huge upgrade
gen 4. amazing expetioally platnium
jhoto remake. twice as good as gen 2
gen 5. pretty bland
sequil. solid pwt made it great
gen 6. way to short very boring
oras. amazing lots of legends lots of events, contest and delta episode was awesome
gen 7: pretty short
alternative: a masterpiece.
Intro was clean
PWT Is my No1 Favorite Facility and Its Challenging
I think the generation 8 region should be based off England or the whole of the UK but i think just England would be better and it has such rich history and great cities. I also think you should be able to travel to Kalos in the post game seen as England and france are next to each other.
After all, they done perhaps 1-3 on Japan, Korea and other stuff.. The western community should have a chance.
Or maybe Brazil because of the jungle so many, many different kinds of Pokémon or Australia because, Australia
