I love the fact that she keeps saying "The choice I made" which takes us back to the saying that says "You're free to choose but you're not free from the consequences of your choice"
For the first time I watched the entire video without reading the comments. I was just so focused on ausi Lerato. I love her accountability, I learned a lot from this. Thank you ladies
My heart breaks because she’s so smart and she would be so far in her career 😭😭💔💔 I am in the Finance and Banking industry and my first class for my degree I remember my lecture telling us that if we have issues with integrity and honesty we must leave the class and find another degree to study…
As a young Architecture student, life is hard, being black in the field is hard and you're tempted to make bad decisions. This definitely impacted me. I have a renewed sense of patience for my journey, and will continue to fight the good fight to make it!!! Thanks Ousie Lerato!
I wonder why Lebo didn't ask about the husband, whether they're still together or not. And how did he cope on his side. Or maybe they come back together.
We need ppl like Lerato to go to schools/learning institutions...give motivational talks & awareness on white collar crime..this could save youths lives
Not really. I'll give her "brave" but not "smart". She stole millions in 6 months?? Even dumber! Company she deposited into was owned by her husband and she was supposedly smart??😅 She was not smart! You don't steal such big money and think no one would notice. Big money is watched over, all the time. In that, she was dumb. I knew this at 18. If she were smart, she would have recognised what it takes to be successful. Crime was very dumb when millions of kids wished to be at university and get the job she got at her age. She didn't have to. That is being dumb. And her friends were also dumb! I would never agree to monies like that. When you're dumb, you listen to dumb friends.
But the host guys. This lady knows how to ask questions. She's so patient and calm. I love you girl. With regard to Lerato, she has what it take to change South Africa. We need more interviews of this caliber of people to change the narrative.
I believe the promotion was a setup. They studied her well enough and when the resignation threatened their progressive investigation, they played her game, and gave her money in a form of a promotion and bam! she fell for it.
True ey because there is a big possibility that there wasn't an email that was sent to them to begin with and when the other boss told her about it maybe he also wanted to see her reaction to the news. When she committed the final crime before leaving her position was a confirmation to the investigators that she really has been stealing money from the company.
The “anonymous email” was sent by the loose ends she left behind. She was stealing with the colleagues and obviously stopped. They watched her continue to live a lavish life so they knew she was still stealing. Plus she got promoted. 😳
That was her first mistake. There's no friendship in the workplace, everyone is trying to climb up the ladder and in the process some are pulling others down.
Was watching till the end...the Bible says, cast a stone when you have no sin. We go through life painful experiences for a reason, all I know is, Lerato's kids will grow up and be successful because of what their parents went through, they will be a guidance in their lives and show them how life is. When you do bad, this a punishment you will get BUT out of that mistake, one must learn, admit their wrong doings and rise again. Great show, loved every minute of it, oooh and her energy👌🏾💥♥️🙌🏾

As a finance student I'm finding hard to grasp this.. Like you never think that it can be you because integrity is preached from day one and you know and it becomes second nature to you. Integrity comes first to anything you want to do . Thank you for this eye opener. Learned that we need to guard our hearts.
What an informative episode! This show deserves to be on Netflix for the whole world to see. I truly understand where Lerato is coming from .She is so smart and well spoken. This opened my eyes to realise that talent channeled into wrong choices can be detrimental to its owner . I'm certain that had aus Lerato not been consumed by greed and the wrong company (friends), she would have flourished when the time was right ,as Relebogile mentioned in her closing remarks. This literally could happen to anyone ! Thank you ladies, may your territories be enlarged for the good work that you guys are doing!!
Your turn is coming. Don't take short cut. You might not be lucky or have mercy like Lerato. So this is warning for you not to even think of doing it. ❤🙏

"Wait for your time" Sis Lerato...
Let's also give credit to Lebo👏🏾, the way she conducts these interviews is amazing. She always want the interviewee to know why she's asking certain questions.

The best episode so far but I feel like there is a lot that can still be unpacked from Ausi Lerato, where is her husband, how long did they both serve e.t.c

I have so much respect for you, Lerato. Go out there and continue to teach others that crime does not pay. You are indeed rehabilitated. I pray that your business succeeds and you do well for yourself and your family. I love your attitude.
She's a smart woman, Sis Lebo you are such an exceptional woman 👌👌 peer pressure is real especially with social media. Thanks to Lerato for unpacking her story🙏
More demands less supply of money leading to wanting more which leads to crime. When we get R700 increase, we add car instalment the need goes up, you get another R700 increase you add a bond house the need goes up again. So go boima shame. We appreciate your educational episodes Rele, you are helping many. I love her confidence in knowing her company system, I bet there are people doing this but in a smarter way lol. Glad she mentioned that greed sold her.
She would make an excellent motivational speaker especially for the youth and those within financial services. She served her time. Wish her nothing but the best.
Thank you so much ausi Lerato😘, we appreciate you and o motho o bohlokwa for sharing your story... I am 23 years old and listening to you has reinforced one of the lessons that I have been learning lately which is to be patient and stay in my financial lane.
I like how she is not ashamed to share her story She has learnt her lesson and its amazing how she can confidentially draw the line between right and wrong
I really enjoyed the fact that even in her darkest and messy moments, she made a choice and that choice led her to life and her making more life-giving decisions. Her testimony is so powerful. She, for me, has taught and reinforced what I have always said; you ALWAYS have a choice. Thus, always choose the path that leads to life I also really enjoy her as a person. She seems to be genuine and remorseful for her mistakes which is extremely admirable.
Lerato! is so smart. I love this story because she is so honest. Showing remorse and shows that she has grown from this experience. I think she should’ve rather been ordered to pay back the money and serve some sort of community service.
This is really deep. Especially that Lerato is considering how her actions affected other people. I pray to God to have mercy on her life and that of her family. Masego a Rara ke ao Lerato.
Really enjoyed Lerato's candidness. And the message of patience while dreaming. Thanks for the quality content Lebohang. The storyline of Lerato is Netflix worthy-Mzansi's own Money Heist.
Such a wholesome interview, I love how Lerato took accountability for her actions and her transparency in the interview. You can tell that she regrets what she did.
