Thank you, plant friend. My Wandering Jew Plant outside just sprouted little cute flowers! I have given it some fresh soil and fertilizer. Wow. What a beauty!
Someone had bought one of these plants at a grocery store and a bunch of pieces broke off and they left them in a shopping cart. When I found them I got a water bottle from the back seat of my car and I cut a hole in the top of the cap and placed the stem down into the water just to keep it good until I got home later that day. I then got home and did exactly what you just did by putting them into a small terracotta pot with the exact same soil you just used. And definitely one of the easiest propagations I've ever done.
Nice! A wonderful find, if you know what to do with them (which you did). I would've said, aww poor plant, and missed out on new plantlings! Now I know better ;)
This is an awesome video, thank you for helping me! I have some cuttings a friend gave me and I've been propagating them in water but I think it's time they be potted because they have so many roots. I was really surprised at how resilient these little plants are! Thanks again for sharing this :)
I have one ice pregnant with my second son. I loved it but I had 19 house plants and dissing was just going everywhere so I gave it to a friend of mine. She loved it and wanted it but her conscience bother her so she said I have to tell you what kind of plant is is first and if you want it back you can have it back. She told me it was a wandering Jude now I hear it's called wandering Jew or today's modern term wondering dude. Irregardless set plant thrives sitting in the kitchen window above the sink and it was expanding out everywhere it was driving me nuts but sure was pretty
Bt if I don't have cocopit thn wht is the alternative.... Can this plant grow in normal soil which don't have cocopit...? ... Will this plant grow...? .. Without cocopit also bcoz at this moment I don't have any cocopit... 🤔🙄🥺 ... I love this plant very much bcoz of it's purple💜 color...
My plant starts drying or rotting at those points where the plant comes in contact with the pot. This plant naturally tends to hang, so how can I prevent its contact with the pot which ultimately leads to drying up of the plant?
Please do not call this plant a wandering Jew. There are many other names for it that are more appropriate. If you look at the history of this name it is actually very racist.
That's what it's called! It doesn't mean he's racist. He didn't come up with the name of this plant. Complain to the person made who made it a known name of this plant in the first place. If you look up Wandering Jew in the dictionary, you'll find this plant. So, please don't try to imply that he is racist because of a name that is widely used for this plant.
I LOVE your accent so much! Thanks for the video!!
You are most welcome friend 😊
Really I’m from Texas and having problems

Hello, nomoshkar from Germany. Khub bhalo laglo to see a Bengali plant channel! ♥️🤗
By the way, I killed the first one, and now on my way to the second.
I think it's main reason is overwatering.
This is an amazing tutorial! Should this plant be kept in indirect light or a grow light of some sort?
Wandering jew plant requires bright indirect sun light. If the light is too dim, the leaf markings will fade. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much! Everything you explained is so easy to follow. :) 👏

I have planted the stem of inch plant one week before ..it has made it place i think but the leaves seams wilted what does it mean?😢
I think it's main reason is overwatering or direct sunlight.
For propagating the cuttings is it necessary to use coco peet or regular soil can also be used??
For propagation cocopeat or regular soil is not mandatory, you can use any well-drain potting soil.

How often did u water them?
When top of the soil fell slightly dry then water it, water it after 2 to 3 day.
Thanks
You are most welcome.
I tried this and they rotted. Wasn't the same type of Tradescantia though.
I think the main reason is overwatering.
My plant starts drying or rotting at those points where the plant comes in contact with the pot. This plant naturally tends to hang, so how can I prevent its contact with the pot which ultimately leads to drying up of the plant?
Maybe tie it to a stake or even chopstick while it grows?
Thank you Dada🙏🙏

I have one at home with vines about 18 inches long can I cut the 1 vine into maybe 3 individual cuttings or will only 1 cutting per vine work
You can cut vine more than one, each cutting must have 3 to 4 nodes.
