@@quantuminfinity4260 I think you’re talking about the first bit of the video, because after he shows the feature he gets to the point and explains the long-press part, which I myself didn’t even know. And I’m sure a lot of others didn’t. It was more of an introduction on what he was going to show. I see your point though.
You can also ask your HomePod mini or HomePod Biggie, where your Apple products are and it’ll also ping those. I consider that to be better than the Apple Watch pinging your iPhone because you can use the HomePod to literally paying any one of your Apple devices.
@@PatrickRambles don’t you have a HomePod on each floor of your house? I can literally talked to my HomePod an entire floor away even with doors closed.
also if you don’t hear the sound, you are also able to open the camera app on your Apple Watch and now you can see what your phone sees, very helpful when needing to find your phone, or just wanting to eat but not take your eyes off the tv
Apple showed this feature off on the first Apple Watch that they released. Probably within the first 10 minutes of the presentation. Ha ha ha admittedly that was like 100 years ago now but I would say that the majority of people definitely did know about pressing a button to make your iPhone ring haha but thanks cool video
nice one, i didn't know about the long touch either, you should declare it earlier so people won't rush into the comment section and says "click bait" title
As a apple fan and someone who owns every apple product, bro I knew this two days after I brought my first Apple Watch, thanks for sharing for other people tho who can loose their phone
I know after the second replacement of my ultra watch and it it’s still a hit and miss on getting emails and text messages. I just wish it would do that!
I REALLY hope most people knew this...I didn't get an Apple Watch til the SE in 2020, but even then I knew this haha. I upgraded to the 7 the following year, and then to the Ultra 2 last year. The camera control feature is awesome and shockingly there are fools that own the watch that don't know about that either. Overall I don't understand why people waste money on one if they don't work out at all...like, why buy one if you don't actively use the health measurements and sensors to improve your health and keep track of work outs? If anything buy an Apple Watch SE, but don't be an idiot that thinks you need anything higher, especially the Ultra...that's for actual athletes or people that at least work out.
I notice that literally right before a race my earbuds or Spotify or the watch OS literally stops working like bad Karma and starts working again after I don't need it any more. Happens with older versions of the OS and models of watch. Marathons, Triathlons and 7 mile runs. It just fails.

This was literally a feature that Apple showed off on stage I think eight years ago
And on every single watch, not just the Ultra Lmao
There’s still nothing wrong with putting it out there because some people still don’t know 🤷
@@wiles7113 Yeah but there is with such a click bait title, it’s a very apparent feature if somebody has ever open control center on their watch.

It's not though. The ringer is, but not the long-press. I'm sure lots of people knew, but lots of people didn't. That's the point of these videos.
Never knew about the long press 👍🏾
Yep didn’t know about the long touch, cheers Patrick 👍
Atleast every Apple Watch user like me knew this but that flash tho 😅
Patrick star
Same
No flash in mine does that only work on ultra
Make sure your iPhone’s screen is off in order for this to work!
I was just going to say that mine didn’t work! Bahahaha😂
Thank you it was my problem. I did it and I didn't see any flashlight😅
Well… if you can’t find it then you wouldn’t be able to check if the screen is on/off until you do lol
Thank you gee
Doesn’t work for me? Pings but long press isn’t recognised / light doesn’t flash. Is there a setting?
what apple watch and what phone?
Don’t work for me either. I have 12 pro max and ultra watch.
Are you guys making sure your phone screen is off/asleep when you try it?
Screen off made it work for me. Had no idea about the long press.
@@PatrickRamblesdidn’t work for me either until I turned on Bluetooth thanks for sharing but maybe mention Bluetooth in a follow up video
Didn’t know about the long press part that makes the phone flash go off
False, tried it on mine and nothing happened 🤷♂️
@@alv0106It’s not false because he just did it on his watch lol, Maybe you just have an old apple watch?

If i lose my iPhone, i shout “siri where are you?” And my phone answers “i’m over here”. I don’t need a watch for that!
I bet you look really cool doing that.
this is literally something everyone puts in “stuff you didn’t know about apple watch”
Many people must not know then.
Just ignore the people that said they knew this already. I had no clue the long touch was a feature and am glad you chose to share it!
Thanks man!

What I have been waiting for is a flashing light with no sound to find the iPhone. So I don’t wake the entire house at 1am.

its my first Apple watch, but I really like the AWU!
Awesome! I like it too :)
My name is Lisa L SAVAGE
-“Ultra” every Watch does that.
“Hey Siri, where are you?”
Just bought my first Apple Watch last week, never had one before, this is a cool tip I wouldn’t have otherwise known, thank you!
Which one
Its not just the Apple Watch Ultra that can do this, all of them are able to do this.
Didn't say they can't.
@@PatrickRambles title is a bit misleading then
and you did not say they can so @@PatrickRambles
Hi, I have seen videos where people press that and the green screen pops ups guiding them towards the iPhone… how can I enable that
You don’t need an Apple Watch Ultra for this 😂 just get yourself an Apple Watch 1
Brilliant - Never knew that - Thank you !
all series can do that
Wow for real I didnt know that haha. That’s so handy.
Any good suggestions for any ways to find your iPhone if it’s dead from your Apple Watch
Every Apple Watch since the series 0 has had this.
“Here’s something you didn’t know about your apple watch”
-proceeds to mention the most basic shit any smartwatch can do
that same literally
Just bought an Apple Watch for the first time. And literally found this out same day 😂 but nice vid.
Yo that’s crazy I’ve been using that button so long but didn’t realize the long press, I’m using the series 8(not ultra) and it works
I know! I feel like everybody knew about the single tap but the long press has been a mystery 😂
Don’t think it matter what watch it is since their basically all the same. Can do it with my series 5
I am new to iPhone so I didn’t know. Thank you!
Or you can just say, Siri where are you.
So my watch can answer...
Everyone knows that
Not everyone little buddy
I’ve had an Apple Watch for about 4 years and never knew the long-press feature only the ringing.
I didn't know the long press feature

Electrically engineered people? Aka robots?
Lmaoooo you gotta be a new watch user
been doing it for years on my series 4

The Ultra is NOT the only one that does this. I have an Apple Watch 3 and it does this too.
Yes.
