@@LamannaGarage if you’re looking for a more refined deeper sound, I’d HIGHLY recommend the eisenmann race exhaust, I have it on my M roadster... you won’t be disappointed! ua-cam.com/video/btuJY23HP58/v-deo.html
Doesn't sound crazy bad; I agree the stock exhaust note is lame. The 1.9 is the same, if not softer. When these cars were new, loud exhausts weren't as popular I don't think. I have to replace my cat; thought about deleting it, but no.
Yeah definitely getting a 3.0i Z3, doing a muffler delete, and BBS wheels. I ride a Yamaha R3, one ripped by in your video, and the full exhaust is obnoxiously loud. My 2004 BMW X3 3.0i has the muffler delete as well and I love it.
Man a full delete on a straight six BMW engine for a daily is suicidal. I got on mine a custom sport muffler and I had the same reaction as you (I don't daily it though) I cannot imagine what a straight pipe might do, the droning must be really drilling your head after a while...
I own the 3 liter twin turbo and I got the muffler deleted and it sounds menacing, and yes mine is not a daily as it sucks up fuel like a vacuum but I love it
Hi, had a MG ZS 180 put a similar exhaust as yours on it, OK till I did a 900 mile journey to the south of france, then it became a pain in the arse, got a Z3 2.8 now done the same journey twice now....... bliss ! put your old exhuast back mate, its the way they are meant to be, finish your journey without a headache. best of luck, LEN.
Idk it's not to bad. It could sound real raspy and jus ear beating ugly I've heard a few like that but honestly man yeah it's jus a little more then I like but I'd leave it. It's not bad for what it cost ya ti get somethin toned down a little bit is not worth it. It sounds like a real sports car if it's that bad to ya buy a damm glasspack perhaps 🤷🏻♂️🙆🏻♂️ I kinda like it enough to run it like that
Sounds great to me......
Sounds wonderful, much better than stock..
That’s exactly what mine sounds like. The previous owner cut the muffler off, so it’s all I’ve known. I enjoy the sound 😊
Sounds fine. Really. I wouldn’t complain
“What have you done?!” Made the car what it was truely intended to be! 😛🤙
I must admit, it has grown on me more. I now need new clutch

I think it sounds perfect

It sounds beautiful
Thanks mate
sick bro im gonna get my shit deleted!
Sounds awesome
Thanks :)
Sounds great
Thanks mate

Which engine is the 3litre twin turbo? Is it a z3 or another car?
Sounds pretty good from what I hear, but also not a daily anymore
MUCH BETTER
Thanks mate
way😊late…but put a straight through glass pack pipe to smooth out the drone and give it a more ‘refined’ sound….
It sounds phenomenal dude what is wrong with you lol
Haha thanks mate. Living with it now. Not a daily so I can live with it
That sounds great wtf lol
Haha yea ? In real.life it really gets down deep into the ear drum. Drone is a bit rough. But thanks mate 😀

Your not wrong mate. The drone is real. If it was a race car yep.. but she ain't haha
Mine sounds almost the same, fitted double barrel straight pipe. It roars when i step on it too hard!! Its a 2001 manual 3.0i Z3.
How is the drone noise when driving on the high way?
@@FarewellStudios Its amazing, more especially when overtake a bus, it feels as if u r slashing it in half. Mine 3.0i 2001 model!
Terrible. A little throttle is fine. Anything more. Drone city
@@LamannaGarage Yah, it makes amazing noise F1 like when I press the gas hard, otherwise it isnt loud when doing normal drive.
It pops also when its hot and mad!!😃😅
They sound better without a muffler but it is super loud!!!
Yo I did the same idk if I could daily drive it 😭 I might get another car tbh so I can daily drive
HAHA I was thinking the exact same thing. I installed a hotdog muffler now just before and made a very minor change but not worth it in my opinion.
that is why electric exhaust cutouts is the best you can always switch it back to normal.
Did you get a check engine light?
No check engine - cats were not removed :) Hope this helps
Shoulda went with a straight through glass pack
True dude. It was bad
sounds aweful i have a hartge exhasut on mine and sounds really nice i try and get a clip up the next few days to share with you
this is a year 1997 ?
Certainly is
Actually, ur car has 193hp and do the intake(which will help with the sound)and a tune and ull easily make 215-220hp
Definitely needs m50 intake manifold and some s52 cams

You soft man that sounds so much better!
Haha I'm currently driving it down by the beach with the roof off. I love it now haha
un silencieux eisenmann sport semble etre un meilleur compromis.
Does not sound good.
Put ear pods on 😂
Haha need some good noise cancelling headphones
