Be prepared to replace your rocker cover also 😂 mine was so stuck, I was using this tool, and the injector came out eventually with some serious pressure, upon celebrating, noticed the rocker cover had cracked in the process, but my engine did have severe black death! I have 0 mechanics experience but with the help ofthis video and many like it Ive been able to strip all the injectors out, out a new aluminium rocker cover on and 4 reconditioned injectors back in, runs a dream now 👌🏻 I was previously getting quite bad CO poisoning and now it's scent free
Nice alternative to a slidehammer. Would be even nice if it had a thread in the tellow collar so you could use it with a power/air tool instead of a wrench.
That was well demonstrated , my van Black Death was so bad the mechanic has spend 3 days on it and was only able to remove 1 , the other 3 won’t budge.
My local garage needs to see this. Told them I’d seen it done on UA-cam. My car has been stuck in their workshop bay for 3 weeks right now. Into fourth week tomorrow.
I'd suggest just loosening the bolt a bit, otherwise when the injector pops out it will bend the fuel pipe. Once the pipe is bent it can be impossible to get it to seal again. Also this method doesn't always pop an injector out.
Just got done doing mine. 1 came out easily by hand the others needed this tool and VICE GRIPS. Now to spend 500zl on regeneration. god dam diesels. Well, I got totally boned. 3 bolts snapped of in the head holding down these injectors. Mega disaster.

where i work we just remove bolt that hold the injector. then we start the engine and wait for the puf
