- I am so excited to share with you the 5 eyeshadow palettes I think are completely UNDERRATED!! All 5 of these palettes are richly pigmented, have great smoothness and blend-ability. Don’t let it anyone make you feel bad for hanging onto a purchase. If you aren’t for certain about throwing something away you spent money on, that is perfectly fine. Also, I love the Balm, too. They have some very nice items.

Risa!! I know this is totally off subject of the video title, however, I just want you to know how special you make me feel when I watch your videos!! I lost my Dad in the last six months, which I cared for solely for six years and I lost one of the people I loved an admired the most in my life, my last family member. In addition I lost three other close family members with a six month time and, so literally nobody else. I also turned 50 and I have been so insecure about my looks, my life and where I am going from here....I found myself drinking too many glasses of wine at night to cope. I realize I am going to deep for your channel, but I just want you to know how much you have helped my self confidence and making myself feel pretty, even when I don't!! xo

Taking better care of myself, is how I cope with the loss. They were taken far too soon, and I want to live every year in happiness, so I celebrate every day and year that I'm here. These were great picks! I always talk about the Persona Identity as being underrated. But also the Bare Minerals 6 pan palettes are super underrated for me as well! Great video my friend! 💗

I watched your declutter from last year. I love watching them too. No one should make you feel bad about how you declutter your collection, what you keep and you organize. You spent your money on it. You did a fantastic job last year on it. They make you realize how you spend your money and what spend it on. I have made smarter purchases and budgeting because of videos like these. Thank you ❤❤❤

Fun video! For me, I think Lorac eyeshadow palettes are underrated. They used to get love on UA-cam but not so much anymore, but I still really enjoy mine.

Thanks Risa ❤ I don't have any of those palettes, but they all look very pretty. I think it's sad some people think it's ok for them to leave such negative comments & tell you how you should do a declutter...their way of course. I would rather you hang onto something to try it again later instead of throwing/giving away a perfectly good palette. Especially if you have YT channel since you're often trying out new products to review for us. Please don' t let those negative pple bother you. I think the Balm shadows in general are so underrated, they are gorgeous.
I used the Sam Marcel code about a month ago and it worked. The palette is lovely and I really enjoy using it. Thanks for the recommendation Risa!

Great picks! I also have been getting more into cool tones. I love having neutral undertones - we can wear cool and warm so easily!!
I have the Loreal palette and it is one of my favorites too. Love the shadow combo you have on in this video!
Mine is the Dior Backstage cool palatte. It is nice and compact for travel and has a lid primer in it. The mauve and plums are great for green eyes.
I loved that the Balm was included as that was one of the first pallets I purchased. I ordered the pallets from N M and am waiting anxiously for their arrival. I ordered that pallet because of the cool colors as it seems I have a lot of warm colors. Thanks 🙏
I have the Loreal palette in my backup drawer stash as well. I always liked it, I just got distracted by new palettes. Im going to pull it out tomorrow! Ive been eyeing that Elsie palette as well.

I just got the balm’s Meet Matte based on your recommendation. It was on zulily a couple weeks ago for a great price. Just showed up today, so I’ll be trying it out tomorrow.

I was given the LePalette2 a couple of years ago and am just now reaching for it more consistency. How funny, I've been using cool tones lately or mixing with warm. It definitely looks good on you, and ty for stepping out of the box of high end and warm tones. I'm a golden olive tone skin so I do wear more warm tones but I can also pull off cool ones.

I love the colours you have on your eyes today. I don't own many palettes as I like to use one up before I buy another but you really sold the L'Oréal one, the colours looked awesome especially with the shimmer. A "how to create the look" video would be fab. Also I would love to know if you were to own just 3 eye shadow palettes with a mix of Matt and shimmer to create both daytime and night time looks which 3 would you choose? Not sure if you have done a video on that?? Great video as usual x

I don't know why ppl would give you a hard time regarding your purge. I admire you because you are able to do any type of purge. I have way too many eyeshadow palettes but can't seem to let any of them go...lol
Of all the palettes you showcased I tend towards the L'oreal one. I love the cool tones too and the matte is so buildable with toppers if you want a more glam look. Ever since you did the vid with the Steeleto palette I've wanted it but can't justify the cost. But the L'oreal palette is only $20! I can justify that!

Hi Risa, Love the L'Oreal cool tones. I like the Milani eye shades in the cool purple tones. That is the only drug store palette I wear. Kohl's has some very nice cosmetics and I will watch for their sales. Great video! 💗

The Persona Cosmetics Identity palette is amazing! It looks basic and boring, but I’ve LOVED every eye look I’ve created using it. The mattes blend effortlessly while maintaining pigmentation. And the shimmer shades go on the eye beautifully DRY.
Some more underrated palettes are the Sally’s Beauty brand Col-lab. I have 6 of the 8 palettes. And within all of them, I’ve only found 2 or 3 shades that don’t quite perform like the others. They’re very much like the Persona palette in that they perform beautifully and effortlessly.

L’Oréal single shadows are SOOOOO underrated! They are like butter and the pigments and blend ability rival high end! I de-pot them and stick them in a zpalette!

Great video! First and foremost, please don't listen to anyone who tells you what to do and how to think. Especially when "they" did not purchase the items for you. I do the same thing as you; I buy a lot of palettes and slowly move them into my "maybe" drawer...then if I still don't use them enough to justify keeping them, then they are truly gone. I paid for them, I can do whatever I want with them. I love The Balm products too!!😊

Did L’Oréal reissue the Color Riche La Palette Nude 2 palette? On Amazon, they mention a new iteration and I don’t know if it’s the colors or the formulation that changed. The palette really does look up my alley,

Most underrated TF Sweet Peach, Colourpop Double Entendre, and one brand everyone loves to hate Kylie Sippin Pretty! The Sippin Pretty to me is the most underrated. It has a different formula from her other palettes. You can get so many pretty looks from it!

Out of these brands I only tried L´Oréal, but that was a long time ago. Back then I didn´t like them too much, but that might have changed.

Super interesting video. I'm a palette hoarder as well. I need an intervention. One of my most favorite underrated palettes is the Juvia's Place Nubian Mini Limited Edition. It's insanely pigmented, soft and super tiny so you can travel easily with it.

Underrated palettes?? ANY of the Coloured Raine palettes (Queen of Hearts or any mini palette) or any of the Lorac Unzipped palletes!! They are some of my absolute favorite formulas!!

Do you have any favorite brand from the drug store that you find never lets you down? I buy a lot of makeup,. I realized today, after 30 years of shopping, if I go shopping and there is a makeup section, no ,matter what , I am in that makeup section, piling things into my cart. I am truly addicted. I have learned to go to the makeup section first so that I can focus on what I needed to buy, in the first plac when i am done scouring the makeup section. . Also, I find by the time I get to the register some of the new gimmicky items have lost their appeal and I can put that down. This doesn't happen often but it does happen.

Do you have any brand or brands , ( can be a line of a brand), that every time you purchase, you always were happy. And are there others that you know for sure you wont like?
