I couldn't agree more with the fact that as our skin ages, as does our makeup & skincare choices. I recently discovered an incredible, skin care products that I never thought about before: Hyaluronic Acid!! It's my #1 skincare go to!! Using it twice a day makes my skin super soft, smooth & evens out skin tone!! I can't believe I never knew about it, lol, daahh.

No7 translucent loose powder is my favorite for setting undereyes... It's literally the most beautiful powder I've ever used and I've used all types of high end and drug store... 11$ is a steal...

Great tips! I am loving the Chanel color corrector - great coverage, brightening but doesn't crease or settle into lines. I've tried every concealer for my 57 yr. old eyes and I'm still loving Tarte Shape Tape and the KKW Concealer - great coverage and you only need the tiniest drop. Also, for brightening but lighter coverage - Maybelline Age Rewind (Drug Store).

I’m 37 and have learned so many things from you. I found my skin changed a lot when I hit 30, then had a baby when I was 32. Those two things really threw my previous skincare and makeup routines out the window. In my teens and 20s I had pretty oily skin with large pores. Now I have combination to dry skin and still have those large pores. I learned a lot of the tips today just from doing everything wrong and realizing it looked terrible. Lol I do struggle with dry flaky skin on the apples of my cheeks. I don’t know what to do about that. Many of the things I’ve tried have just been temporary fixes. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you so much!

Great video content! I like the tip about blotting excess with a tissue. 👍
I use an eye cream first and combine a lightweight cream with my favorite coverage concealer before applying. I've never found an affordable concealer that didn't cake or look dry, but adding eye cream right before applying always did the trick.

Oh my goodness! Risa, thank you so very much for this amazing gift! Although I’m only 39, I’ve been going through menopause for 16 years, after having a complete hysterectomy at 23. I enjoyed watching you, as usual. I want to just put out the name of a fantastic, but more expensive, concealer by Eve Pearl. She's won FIVE Emmy awards for make up and was one of the first, as far as I know, to sell a peach colored concealer. No one ever talks about her! I love it. It's lightly textured and very pigmented. Another line copied it and is selling it for a cheaper price - NYX concealer and corrector. Equally good, I hate to say for Eve Pearl's sake. Bobbie Brown created a more $$ one, too. Concealer is one of those things that I think I don't need but I always look better when I use one. In other words, I need it! I'm a late bloomer for using make up. Didn't use until my mid to late 50s so Eve Pearl's products were one of the first I used that really impressed me.

Thanks so much for this Risa. I do apply concealer with my fingers, then light powder with the sponge. It looks good, but I'm still not always satisfied because of fine lines. I think your blotting tip will make the difference for me. There are big changes to our skin & hair after menopause. When I was young, my skin & hair were very oily. Now, extremely dry. Using serums & moisturizers is a must for me now. I'm grateful for all the wonderful options we have now to find products that work and for channels like yours that help enormously in figuring that out. Thanks again and have a wonderful, happy day!

I'm 62 and I am "Still" learning. I only subscribe to Boxycharm and get to try many products. I personally, don't have problem with wrinkles, I have a lot of sagging, because of weight gain and losses, over the years. I have very Hooded eyes! Great tips as always Risa. I am 60+ and have noticed my undereye area has gotten drier and more creased within the past year though I have used undereye creams since my 30s. Three products I have recently tried have worked well for me. First Maelove's new Eye Cream, second though a bit pricey a little goes a long way of By Terry's Terrybly Densiliss Concealer and third, Becca's Hydra Mist Set and Refresh Powder. The powder is superfine and formulated with 50% water so it's cooling and not drying. I use it all over my face throughout the day. All three products have worked great for me. I love your tip about the damp beauty sponge and will be trying it. As always, another fab video. Thanks for all your hard work for us. Love you! ❤❤

Wanna say first you look gorgeous! You always do! Beautiful!!! And NOT just beautiful "for your age"(I hate that phrase, I hear it alot. It's a compliment, and I'm sure people dont mean it in a bad way, but I dont like it) you are beautiful inside and out! No matter the age! ....I'm in my 40s and my skin has changed so much just in the last few years. I've aged more in the last couple or few years too..... omg I've never heard or seen the tissue trick!!! And I've seen about everything. I'm gonna have to try that! Does it take away the coverage though?..... the Laura mercier paowder is a disaster under my eyes! It's pretty every where else but NOT for my under eyes. I really really like the No.7 loose translucent powder, it's the best one I've found for my under eyes. I haven't been able to buy any high end powders to try lately (we just bought a new house) but I wanna try the two you mentioned, as soon as I can shop high end stuff again! Maybe I can ask for them for xmas...... also I've really been liking the damp beauty blender for applying powder! I can NOT bake! But just to apply powder and press it in it looks good. And I got that trick from you!...... thank you so so much! For all your videos, information, everything! You're wonderful!

AWESOME. Terrific information. Thank you so much. The blotting undereye to remove excess is genius and I've never been told that but it makes so much sense. I just had eye surgery so I can't wear ANY makeup for 1 week but you can bet I'm going to try your method and I'm sure it will be beautiful. Can't wait. Thanks for a GREAT video.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who hated the Laura Mercier powder under my eyes

Thank you so much for this video! I’ve always had dry under eyes and now going in my 30s, the texture has been getting worse.
Tried almost every under eye tutorial. Excited to buy all these product suggestions and give this a whirl!
I’ll come back with an update 💕
    Thanks again!

You look marvellous today sweet Risa. Thank you for these helpful tips. My biggest mistake was putting on too much product which I didn’t blot off. I am so grateful for this tip - like this, I don’t need to put on so much powder!!! Lots of love from Germany 💘💘💘

Hi Risa I have to be careful how I apply my concealer. And I also have to use a specific one without powder. If I powder I age myself. Great tips you look fabulous!
