And I had no idea until just now... and being a true crime buff, I've always watched and followed any and all new developments over the years. I just thought I'd find out it was solved through the grapevine here... nope! Lol it's almost midnight and I legit just text my mom saying "MUM!!!! This is good, anonymous people now have a name, they were once someone and not just a deadbody no one claimed. I could understand why anyone looked for the Somerton man, but the Lady of the Dunes was a mother, was no one looking for her?
@16:25 In the teenage footbalI pic, the C Webb (Somerton) has brown / dark blonde (or red) hair. In his family pic @17:11 (his 20-30s) he suddenly has light blond hair. In his final pic he has black hair. That's a strange development for hair color (unless he died his hair black towards the end)
15:21 hearing you mention Charles reminds me of an update on a local American unknown case, the Boy In The Box was recently identified, they’re going to give an update today (Thursday) and shockingly not only that but the killer of this sweet baby is still alive, meaning he or she will be brought to earthly justice

Then I pointed out how it’s most likely the starry sky of their wedding night. Then they found it kinda neat lmao
I love that after all that spy hubbub the Somerton man turned out to be a local, and that the whole secret love child with a foreign spy thing was based on a coincidence. I hope the family got some sense of closure from this though.
Honestly it always felt like a reach. Not impossible but... I rip out most of my tags too, they're itchy and annoying lol Charles had an amazing smile, it's a shame he got to the point where he couldn't smile anymore.

The case of the Lady of the Dunes is crazy to me. I’m glad she was given her name back but the person who killed her was never caught. Sadly, I don’t think the person will ever be brought to justice due to how much time has passed.

you’re a good person. thank you for this video & the respect you give to all, especially those that have passed.
Perfect to listen to while being cosy on the sofa 😄
Such a thoughtful ending to the entry on Charles. Nicely done Lazy.
Thank you for covering this. I lived on the Cape, (Hyannis area) for 60 years. Not much crime there, but when there is....P-town is beautiful but the freaks come out at night. Beautiful island.
The mother of the russian guy should also be in jail. Knowing your son is a murderer and buying him a ticket to help him escape makes you guilty.
Rewatched and commented to support you, my favourite channel.
I'm from the cape, born and raised! So the fact that I'm just finding out, through you, that the lady in the dunes case was FINALLY solved.. literally has my mind blown rn 🤯 Idk if there's a person my age or older who didn't grow up knowing about the lady in the dunes, going to race point to see the spot, etc! I've just always assumed it was going to be one of those cases that wouldn't get solved in my lifetime. I mean, I know it's not "solved", but we know who she is!!! And I had no idea until just now... and being a true crime buff, I've always watched and followed any and all new developments over the years. I just thought I'd find out it was solved through the grapevine here... nope! Lol it's almost midnight and I legit just text my mom saying "MUM!!!! DID YOU KNOW THEY FINALLY (PARTLY) SOLVED THE LADY IN THE DUNES CASE!??!!?!?" She's gonna kill me for texting her so late 😆
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, LAZY, for doing what you do!!! You're amazing and your content NEVER disappoints!!!
I'm so surprised so many mysteries were solved this year, and they're quite tragic. Thanks for covering these Lazy.
The killer is still alive?? I knew he was identified, but i didn’t know they found a killer
@@Yakkymania apparently the perpetrator is still alive, if not them then all of Joseph’s siblings are
Thanks for the Updates on these cases. I'm glad some victims at least have their identities back.
Never been this early, Lazy Masquerade vibes are the only vibes
Same
Perfect timing as always, Lazy! Reupload or otherwise
I love your videos very much and always watch them with my parents. When i have to go to the office, i listen to your older stories constantly. Thank you very much. Is this a re-upload? What happened?
EDIT: Ah! You just explained it in the pin!
Rewatch, beautiful boy. You already did it. Like me
0:36 This looks similar to what my aunt got my parents for their anniversary. My parents were hella confused on why she gifted them smth with stars bc they’re not into astronomy or anything.
I rip out most of my tags too, they're itchy and annoying lol
Charles had an amazing smile, it's a shame he got to the point where he couldn't smile anymore.
That's the thing about when cases are still unsolved you can use your wild imagination about what happened to then until the person is identified and the entire truth gets uncovered.
@@seandelap8587 agreed! And reality's seldom as thrilling as all of these conspiracy theories would make it out to be.
The extra in Jaws came forward a while back and said it wasn't her.
Also the boy in the box has been identified! Police statement coming out next week
Deja vu. So glad the Lady of the dunes case was solved.
Nice words at ending for Charles Webb!
The case of the Lady of the Dunes is crazy to me. I’m glad she was given her name back but the person who killed her was never caught. Sadly, I don’t think the person will ever be brought to justice due to how much time has passed.
He will in the second coming
Your timing is impeccable 😊😴
Watched it the first time and will watch it again because I love your channel and your content!
They found out the identity of the boy in the box! name reveal is next week cant wait for you to do that case!
first time watching in a rlly rlly long time have never felt more scared and comforted by an intro before
lazy, please deep dive into the ryker webb story!!! it’s something that genuinely keeps me up at night
