I had a Yamaha 350 big wheel,loved it and always wanted it street legal. That's what I'd like the T.W. to be. It handled great with some trouble in mud.
I've heard rumor that someone might be working on a big wheel kit for the front to bring back the feel of the ol' BW! Now, if we could just get that 350 motor to put into the TW, that would be awesome!!!
The traction is worth the heavier handling off road. The bws have the fat tire in the front too. Handles sloppy but goes wherever you point it. Didn’t know someone was selling rims. Thanks for sharing
Yeah, it is literally like a tractor with that tire! They also sell bigger sprockets that give it even more grunt. I have heard that a bigger front tire kit is in the works as well!

I have a 140-80-18 on the front of my tdub now, that's a big tire. Any bigger I would need to replace the front forks. However if you get the 25×8×12 atvkit it looks good with the front tire I stated above, Bradley offers two different size atv rear tire kits.

@@thatalaskaguy Yes I would also the 140-80-18 tire I have on the front, is actually a rear tire for 99.9% of all the dualsport bikes in existence, however it says tubles on the side but I put the stock tibe in anyway because you need tubles rims, anyway the front feels a little heavy and I can hear the tire at highway speeds but I like it, he'll of a lot better than stock AKA the death wing😁
Ive been looking at a ton of bikes like rokons, yamaha big wheels, and honda fat cats, because i love the stance of them, the way they look, and how low they set. Power is hit or miss, but the tw200 really intrigues me because its like those and a normal dual sport mixed, but this looks exactly like what i want. Its not as intimidating as other bikes, fairly reliable base to start with, and has that astetic and performance that i want.
I would take the TW200 all day long! They are great machines that will do everything but freeway speeds. I have toured with mine, ridden them on roads, trails, sand dunes, gravel, mud and everything in between. I love the TW200!
Hi Matt Looking forward to the follow up vids on the rear tire kit. Would like to see some tough trail comparisons with your bike and his bike doing the same trails. I ride my tw almost every day in the dirt but sometimes have to do mountain twisty paved roads to get to dirt. Wondering about that with the fat tire?

I really like it... my only thing is that my OCD kicks in and having a black full wheel in the back vs a stainless spoked wheel in front makes me twitch..... LOL
I like the idea of this, the ATV tires usually aren’t DOT approved so you can’t ride them on the street but this would give you a completely separate wheel so you could swap them on and off. I have watched a couple videos of TW‘s with an aggressive ATV tire on the back end they just climb up clay covered leaf covered steep muddy hills and it’s kind of amazing. You’ll see 203 TW‘s that can’t even come close trying to get a pet and then the guy with the ATV tire just putts right up. I never thought about the tire pressure and the tube, that makes a lot of sense.
There are actually a lot of the ATV tires that are DOT Approved now because of the side by side community making their machines street legal. I'm a big fan of this kit though and it works really well!
I knew nothing about atv tires until 2 weeks ago. I did a lot of research and watched way too many videos but I think it was worth it. I went with the 25x8 12 Kenda mastodon at. It ranked well in Chaparral's test and is DOT approved.

It’s kind of like all motorcycle tires come out the more aggressive, off-road the more they’re not gonna work as well on the street but if you’re riding off road is that I’ve seen TWC do some pretty wild stuff like crawling up very steep hills, covered with wet leaves, and clay. I never thought I could do it, but it just crawled right up with the right tires on there, I’m sure they’re not great for zipping around town or going fast on the street but I’d love to try them off road, from the videos that saying they work incredibly well.
Hey! Thanks for watching! Yeah it is still street legal. There are DOT approved tires that you can get that you won't have any issues with and now with the popularity of Side by Side UTV's having street legal kits installed a lot of the tires you can get now are DOT approved. For me, it didn't feel squirrelly on the road at all. If anything it felt more planted. I didn't feel as comfortable turning since this doesn't have the same makeup as a motorcycle tire, but it didn't feel bad.

Would you ever consider posting a video of your tw200's engine sound at all gears, perhaps going up and downhill as well. Like would it be possible to mic your engine? (Not as interested in the exhaust sound, just all the noises the motor makes). I'm curious how mine sounds in comparison to a healthy tw200.
My 2016 tw started making pinging sounds when running wide open. Thought maybe the valves needed adjusting. Adjusted valves but didn't fix it. Oil level showed in the middle of the 2 lines. I added a little bit to get closer to the top line and the sound went away completely?
Awesome been waiting for you to do a vid on placing an atv tire on the tdub, so a 52 rear sprocket is best for that then? Yep!! There will be more videos for sure. I don't know if it is the perfect combo yet. I have seen others using a 65t and a 69t sprocket with the stock tire and they are climbing monsters! The company that built this kit has a 70t sprocket you can get as well! Yeah, let us know how that tire goes. How are the Handguards holding up?
He was using the other tire for on and off road use. They look great and this one has grip for days! I think it would be awesome off road. It adds a lot of suspension too!

I wasn't sure at first but after I installed this one and rode with it, I like it quite a bit. I would do this swap for sure if I was only around town and riding trails and hills. I wouldn't use it for the longer highway use I do.
Are you doing an install video? I just picked up my TW yesterday and want to get this for my bike. They offer a 25” and a 26” tire on the website. The pic of the 26 looks way to big, like fat guys might be hitting the fender with the tire.
This was the depth that I got to on the install. I need to get another one to go even further into detail. What questions do you have? Yeah, I wanted the 25" but the 26" has been tested on the manufacturers bike and hasn't had any issue that I have been made aware of so far.
Personally i think chains would be a terrible idea. Check out the screw in snow studz for ice fishing and winter trail riding. Only downside is you will need a new tire for summer riding, the studs dont like asphalt but love the ice!
i have the duro atv tire on my stock rim...im curious to know how hte atv/trailer rim works with the smaller tire/less weight... hows the power/gearing difference with the smaller tire? i run 14/55 with my duro on the stock rim, she pulls like a goat but it definitely lost what little pep it may have had
This one is running the 14/52 setup and it felt really well. The 25" tire was fine at lower speeds, I didn't try to hit above 35mph. It is a bit heavier setup than the stock tire, hub and wheel. It isn't a trailer wheel though, it is an ATV wheel that bolts up to the custom hub that Bradley Performance made. I was a lot happier with the whole thing than I thought I would be.

Yeah, I understand that. You could just order the hub kit itself and then buy a silver steel wheel to install. There are ways to make them match.

More effective torque now with smaller wheel?
It was pretty solid before but the smaller wheel actually helps with the speed.
