4 EASY STEPS: Upgrade Your Motorcycle Grip with Easy Lever Sleeve Installation
Seems that the TW is an ideal bike for a slightly timid wife, or a man that simply wants to putter. Either bike is good in conjunction with a pickup truck, to bring the motorcycles to back country riding instead of driving the bike to an off-road adventure. I had a Yamaha 225, and found that I COULD scare myself off-road with it, although it was not the best in deep sand, a bigger engine would have been easier. I am wondering, though, if I would be better off adding turn signals to a WR250F, and licensing that. Seems like a better bike, but $4000 more is a problem.
Good stuff brother! Thanks to you I have outfitted my TW. Tusk skid plate, tusk pro hand guards, and tusk front finder riser. Bike looks great. Hopefully hooking up with Bradley pipe and shifter soon. God bless you and your family.
Hay Matt Sam here from Calif. Follow your content regularly. I have a 2017 tw and thinking about replacing my stock bars but am concerned as bout the cables. Don't want to change those and want to stay with the stock controls. And recommendations on the type of bars I can go with. I've got the risers but would just like a little more height. Thank you.
Hi Mat there is a company here in the UK which make a high quality tail tidy for the 400 bikes. They are TEC a family run business. Drop them an email and ask if they will ship to you. All the best.
Good stuff Matt! I've been trail riding at night lately and the stock headlights leave a lot to be desired. I'm thinking new bars (already got the D-flex), shifter, headlight. Thinkin about the high fender kit as well. Just looks good, especially if you fatten up the fender with rubber and plastic rivets. Makes it look like an old school MX bike. I would spice up the sound a bit but I like how quiet she is.
🤟🖤🤟
I absolutely despise a motorcycle with electronic BS all over it, People do not realize how much more wiring it takes to have all that crap on there, My 2017 Harley Ultra has to much for me. if I could take the radio out and put a glove box in its place I would do it in a New York minute. I am going to buy one of these TW200 soon because here in Texas like most places we have endless gravel roads to explore.
Only had the bike for just over a week and clocking up the mileage. When I bought the bike the dealer said that there would be no labour charges for the first service so total cost will be £92. So parts costing more or less same as USA. I'm enjoying the bike, handles well
My bike is in the shop for third time, continues to stall .. second software update, they hade it now for a week , no idea what the outcome will be this time
O-ring? For what cover? I am contemplating purchasing the Triumph 400X and doing my research. Great vid!
You can't stop mother nature. Good try though
Hey mob street. Get back on the bike
cannot stand the fucking eagles man. CCR all the way
Lol
Yes I did inn Indiantown Florida
In Canada, we are paying $6.20 A gallon so sad
Saw them live once. Great show!
I didn't grow up with that song, but do think the 90s had the best music.
Looks like you guys had a blast! I was thinking, you should get the Bradley ATV rear kit, I bet you would have made it to the top with ease! 😁 Thanks for sharing, and Great news about RMATV selling more T-Dub stuff. Take care! Thanks for posting!!!!
What is the date for the 2025 event? Bringing two bikes from Texas! Is there a website about it? Thanks for all you do for us!
We don't have TW200's here but we do have XR150s and I own one. I love it. No bs bike, pure utilitarian. Not performance bike but does it all pretty solid.
I have done quite a bit of winter riding on my TW and thought about studding but never did it. At 64 my two friends no longer want to do stupid shit any more so I guess I will just sip tea and stare out the window for a few months. Did you say Kimpex?
Looks like a fun little hot rod. 👍
I put 40 miles on my 06 today. Changed my whole attitude. I love that they haven’t changed anything on them. Just a cool little bike.
they are a great bike!! Especially for your homestead you're working on! They haven't changed much of anything but the color since 2001 and not a whole lot more before that!
@ definitely fun to run around the homestead on. How is that scrambler treating you?
@workinonitsteve it's a fun machine as well, but more street oriented. A bit flimsy with the turn signals but the power and suspension are dialed right out the gate.
Right on Matt, “ Throttle Therapy “ on the TDub 🙌🫶‼️👍
Yessir! The best kind!
Is it suitable to ride on normal city roads? If going into town where there's no ice or snow but the roads still wet, is there still traction?
Nope, it'll damage the studs.......I might have tried it.
Do you still own your Dad’s bike? Really nice bike though the only thing I’d do is order a front fender and have someone professionally match paint it… I inherited one from my brother who passed away. He had his since buying it new in 1998. The oil change on this particular engine is simple, a hose under the oil can with a single screw to drain three quarts of oil from the tank…Then swap out the oil filter… The EVO uses three quarts of 20-50w, I use full synthetic by Ensoil… My brother owned his and never parted with it even through three marriages he managed to keep it from being sold or part of a marriage agreement… His last wife said my brother wanted me to have it if he died and even wrote out a Bill of Sale and gave it to his wife before going into the hospital where he ended up having a heart attack while being administered chemotherapy and for a brain tumor and the. Stem cell therapy to revive his immune system. I’m honored to have his bike but I never thought he’d die and we talked through FaceTime on the Friday just three days before he died. He was kind of loopy and seemed ok and told me he got this and told me don’t worry and said he loved me. That’s the last thing he said to me before he died. I have a video of his bike on my channel. He did have the engine and transmission and sprockets completely modified. He worked at Harley Davidson dealers for 17 years and despite they had a policy about working on older bikes, they did all the engine work and installation of a six speed transmission with different drive sprockets to accommodate the boost of 89 horsepower the EVO engine was making. Appearance wise it looks bone stock but driving is where the bike acts way different from a stock 60 hp EVO. These bikes are easy to get a little bump up in power by just changing out the air filter and pipes then add different fuel jets to the Constant Velocity carburetor, that’s about the easiest way to get them to go faster however taking them to the extreme is Cylinder head big bore kit, hp oil filter, and of course a six speed transmission over the stock five speed because the six banger has that last highway gear that allows the engine to coast better at higher speeds…
I will always own my dads bike. I won't ever sell it. Take care of your brother's bike and I am sorry for your loss. I'd have my dad back over having his bike any day.
These videos are horrible
Have you changed sprockets? Get a little more torque in the low end
Not on my 2021. It is still the stock gearing and it is doing great. On my 2019 I went with a 52t rear and the 14 front and it had been awesome for the hills and stuff.
ТW200 любимый мотоцикл. Стоит в гараже😊👍
Thinking strongly about getting one of these. As long as the dealer in New Orleans doesnt try and tack on a $1000 like most dealers around here do. I think Im in.
I've had a great time with mine! I was $1,700 in fees on mine.
Dang I got the none ABS version and I love it for trail riding, for what it is it definitely surprised me great for people 100-200 lbs.
My oldest boy really likes the bike! I like the engine and Trans on it, but the rest of the bike I have a hard time with.
Come to Arkansas and get some practice.
I'm gonna try to get out there!
You can ride as well as those other guys you just can't do it on that small bite you need a bigger and better bite I got rid of my TW after about 2 months it's really just set up for smaller people
I appreciate it Kevin, but I can't ride the dirt like they do. I am trying to get better at it, but I still have a long way to go.
I had one of those bikes and I weighed 265 lb they just can't handle that kind of incline because the very low cc bike with a very heavy person if he had a regular bike like a KLX 250 you'd have no problem you go right up there
I'll have to take my klx230s next time I got with them.
🤟🖤🤟
Thanks Atilla!
TW damage report? Damn only running on one cylinder
I had to add that in there, I was laughing pretty good at that.
Hi Matt, I see you have snow already.
Hey Michael! Not quite, this was filmed a YEAR ago! It took that long for Rocky Mountain to release their side so I had to wait to release mine as well.
Brrrrrrraaaaaaaaaappppp!!!
💯
I feel your pain, buddy! I am typically the slower, more careful, and underskilled on my riding group... but I have just as much fun as any of them 😂 Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thanks JT! I still had a blast and we didn't show the bit of Tdub racing we did at the end. That was a great time!
Nice Matt. I’m thinking off road I’m about 10% below your skills. Except snow. You are better in snow. Thanks for the content.
Thanks Gary!
Because I had to drive the route 66 in order to get that bike and then somebody took my route 66 from me
Sorry to hear that!
Tomorrow, a new video is going live on the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Channel. If you're interested in the TW200, you'll wanna watch it.
Make it happen !
Working on it!
Door Dash
Good Call!
It says it right in the video. Prioritize your joy😂
My family does bring me joy.
@MOBStreet83 I guess I thought this video was you saying you wanted to make riding your motorcycle a full time gig. So prioritize your joy. (Family) Nothing like being able to ride your motorcycles with your family and make money doing it. I love rock crawling with my family. Family is always number 1
Do they sell efi kits for the tw200s?
not that I am aware of
People need a sign at the start as well 😂
Right?!?!? I was kinda disappointed really.
It’s for those people that only want to do 20 steps instead of 10,000. I think the sign on the other end needs to say turn around.
Yep, someone wanted to only walk that far.
