Any fit differences between the new HZRDUS vs the Catalysts? I know that the Cats felt like it had way more range of motion vs the TFs, but not sure if the HZRDUS are closer to the Cats or TFs when you lace em up. Curious if the only differences are flex profile and / or fit since they both have Neurofit+. Had to pinch my Catalyst heel while baking but would buy a pair of HZRDUS to if it feels mostly the same plus better heel lock.
Correct, or so we are told. We do a number of True Customs(Pro and SVH) and we have not seen anything come in in the last week to give a roller change update. We assume everything going forward from tomorrow will 100% be the new material
I tried on a pair of Hzrdus 9x skates and I needed to get the half-size up. The size that *should* fit my foot (foot length is 25.0cm), should be a size 6, 25.1cm. When I tried them on, my toes *just* grazed the front of the toebox (which I'm told, at least for other skates, is the correct size). However, it ended up not feeling right, because the hzrdus shell has a raised lip all the way around the bottom of the footbed. If your toes are too close to the edge of the toe-cap, they end up resting/pressing on the raised areas and it's pretty uncomfortable. The slightly larger 6.5's (25.5cm) fit much better because my toes sit within the raised lip areas in the toebox and footbed.
Interesting to read this. This morning I saw the 9x on Black Friday sale at 50% off at Sportchek. I went and tried my usual size on and had the exact same experience. They didn't have the next half size up so I ordered them. I liked them everywhere else so I'll be interested to see how the toes feel when they come in. Sales associate said I can return them for full refund if I don't like them so risk free at least.
I found my cat 9s to be more comfortable than the svh customs I ordered. The svh pinch my arch’s and one foot my big toe rubs on the side of the toe cap and it hurts pretty bad. So was thinking of ordering a pair of hzdrus 9x thinking they would fit more like the cats.
Hey. So I was out of town and stopped at another place to try on the 9x. I found the 8 regular was great for my narrow heel, mid instep and forefoot and seemed to be the perfect length. But, my foot wouldn’t lay flat at the toe cap. Best I can describe is that my large and small toe sat on top of the sides of the toe cap. I’ve never experienced this before. Do these have a really narrow toe box or is something else happening? (For context I even tried a longer skate but, same issue)
Have you heard anything about the durability of the carbon being improved? My TF9s heel cracked and my Cat Pros have a crack starting. Frustrating as I otherwise love the skates
They have improved the carbon, we are told, on this generation of skate. It is closer to that of the SVH. That said, we will have to wait and see how the first few weeks go with them. That kind of wear shoes pretty quickly. Long before actual cracking in the carbon.

You mentioned the "dimpled" liner in the 9 and the Pro. Is it the same liner as the new (2023) SVH Customs?

They fit like the Cats but have newer liners and better shell wear
I am told best bang for the buck is the X7 thoughts

I have a pair of the PRO's. Almost 10 games in them. They are TOTALLY AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
What’s the difference between 9X and pro??
Is the pro replacing the full custom BFIO mode or more mirroring the catalyst pro that’s augmented sizing?
The Pro review is at about the 6:30 mark. They are a modular skate, like the Catalyst Pro, not a BFIO custom

The question is how durable they are cause the last 2 lines had massive problems and durability issues.
what is the waiting period for the order? Hzrdus pro
About 3-5 weeks depending on when you order and wait times
True skate sadly are the most uncomfortable skaters ever worn when it comes to retail skates
Did you have the properly fit and wrapped? We get this comment a ton when someone orders them online and then just puts them on and goes on the ice.
I respectfully disagree
