  • How to Repair 2000W Sine Inverter
Today, I bought a broken 2000W inverter from a second hand store. I will show you how to fix it.
    Sửa kích điện 2000W.
    Facebook group : bit.ly/Creative...
    The repair steps
    -Check the fuse
-Check mosfet - Use a multimeter in diode mode. If a value of ~ 500 between pins D and S is a good mosfet, otherwise, replace the mosfet.
-Check the DC filter capacitor 12 - 24V
    -Check the 310V filter capacitor
    -Check fast diode
-Check PWM signal from SG3525 or TL494 (about 35Khz)
    -Check the H-bridge mosfet (310VDC - 220VAC)
-Check the SPWM module and driver ic.
Replace broken components and test with 12 - 24v power supplies at 1A current. If the fault is still, the 1A current cannot damage the inverter.
If you like my video, give me a cup coffee. Thank you very much.

Which is better, de-solidering the components and reading separately or reading the components directly on the board ?

This is hilarious. I'm still waiting for delivery on a 2KW 72v dc to 220v ac unit like this I ordered about a week ago. May be I should have ordered another filter cap and some MOSFETs to go along with it. LOL

Most of the commercial inverters use TL494 PWM circuit in both DC boost and H-Bridge section. They use LM324 or LM358 op amp for other funtions like over under battery voltage protection, over load short circuit protection Temperature sensor Fan and led indicators. They are reliable and easy to repair....Please design an inverter using these components..Thanks in advance

    • @PhdHung

The PWM square wave show some small spike on top side.
Is it the spike cause of Mosfet dead short?.
    or anyting else.

    • @PhdHung

No, it is due to totem pole driver.

    • @PhdHung
