Love the Honda 50s! And I like the white bedsheet. Made for an excellent backdrop. I saw that sheet and the Lucas grease and I knew what was bound to happen. 🤣. Good stuff as always sir!
@linksgarage1985 Hey Scott .Thank you very much. Ya that white background helped the little bits show up fairly well .Heck, yes ..the Z50s are legendary bikes ..when you know, you know .Appreciate your continued support. Cheers 🍺
These Z50's wow I remember these when they first came out and the 4.5 hp at the time for a 50cc was a tall effort. What a cool project right there man and cool how 2 vid.
Oh yes these little Z50s were so much fun ,for many of us they were our first crack at motorbiking . Thats why I'd really like to get this junker back up and running .Just for the trip back in time .
@@rolandkeith5322 That would be brilliant R.K. as you can tell body and paint is not in my wheelhouse thats why most of my stuff are rat builds . Plus I usually end up crashing stuff anyway so...paint ends up being the first casualty .
@@TRyanLearnBikes I'm confident you will get it looking and running just fine but again if I was living around your way I would put by hand up to do the paint work.... but very cool you have one of these.
@@DangerousSportsForSeniors Well hopefully it'll work and the grandkids can have some fun with it .Thanks for the fork straightening tips I'll certainly take your advice. Cheers 🍺
Well yes that is certainly a good strategy .Sometimes ya gotta learn things the hard way . Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment .Cheers
I can't fix my stuff. I enjoy watching you do it. I had a bike like this for years, and I wish I still had it.
@Supermankev2001 Hey Kev , thanks, man .Ya these little Z50s are iconic machines .You obviously know what I'm talking about. Cheers buddy 🍺

@rolandkeith5322 Thanks R.K. I would have certainly taken you up on your generous offer if we were on the same side of the globe .Cheers my friend
Some kid is sure going to be happy with that. I know I was.
I used to straighten fork tubes with a hydraulic press, wooden V blocks, and a dial gauge

...tighten to not grindy and not sloppy...😅 ... well, I like that version better than "do not over tighten" 🤔🤣
Yes ,thanks Wayne it gets the message across without being too technical .Cheers Buddy 🍺
put a bit of grease on your finger, makes picking up those balls much easier. I'm sure you already know that though
